Hi.
I have acquired ~2 years back the Patti theme which came together with VC. In the mean time I have migrated the website to a Wordpress server. When this was completed I discovered that VC was not working. Initially I thought it was a licensing problem so I bought another license.
Everything was fine with the exception of 2 VC elements that for some reason are missing on the staging website but exist on the live website: Portfolio Grid & Section Title.
The 2 missing elements can not be called via VC interface of adding elements, but can be added in the classic mode.
Example: [dt-portfolio-grid number=”-1” categories=”“] or [dt-section-title title=”“]
However each time I modify a page (add or change a picture for example) the portfolio and titles disappear.
On the live website VC version is 4.8.0.1 On the staging website the VC version is 5.2.1

Can you please advise on how to activate Portfolio Grid and Section Title elements on the Staging website?

Hello, These are not our standard elements. They are most likely added by the theme author. All our standard elements have vc_ as a prefix while the elements at your end has dt_ prefix. You can check our standard elements by creating online demo here: https://vc.wpbakery.com/try/

Hi wpbakery, Could you tell me if there is a possibility to enable visual composer editor on custom page with front-end post submission form? I have a page-slug.php where is a form with wp_editor() which adds my post with wp_insert_post() function (to publish custom post type with front-end form submission).
Can I activate visual composer in this wp_editor? I have not got yet your plugin.
Hello, Unfortunately, the Visual Composer can only work with the content area of the theme and cannot be added externally to an editor.

In How many website i can use VC ?
Hello, for each website you will need a separate license of Visual Composer. The same principle applies to subdomains as well. For example, if you have 3 sites with Visual Composer, you will need 3 licenses.

Hi, VC came with the theme and I installed the same theme (2 copies) on 2 websites. When I search inside those websites, I get the results below. I don’t know how to remove these coding. Hello, The issue is because the search template is pulling the excerpts which are not executing the shortcodes. You can use a plugin like: https://wordpress.org/plugins/rich-text-excerpts/ to add excerpts manually to such pages, so that it gets pulled instead of the default one with shortcodes.

Hello, If you check the plugin settings page, you will find an option to make the changes to the page rendering, so that it can work with pages too.

FRUSTRATION, I purchased “Visual Composer” and my license is not recognized – since it is not recognized I can ask for support for which I paid and still have 6 months left. What is going on?
Hello, the problem is that Envato API sometimes struggles to provide new licenses on time, we are communicating with Envato to resolve it. What you need to do right now is to log out from support.wpbakery.com and Envato. Then log in once again and you will see your license listed and will be able to activate your copy. This will also allow you to open a support ticket via the support tab.

Manual Excerpt not displaying on home page when page built with VC I have reported this a few times now, Just keep being ignored. Fresh install just wordpress with default theme and VC activated. no other plugins activated. Excerpt will not display.

I have tried on numerous servers with fresh installs using 2017 2016 theme, installed WordPress 4.8.1 with the latest VC this is not a support issue the is a Bug report. Please kindly deal with at such.

Can you tell if there is any solution or alternative for this:
I placed a “Single Image element” then added a Image size of 400 by 400 and upload a image of 1080p, on click it will open in lightbox
Now problem is that thumbnail of 400 by 400 which is small resized version of 1080p image is quite blur and if i upload already resized 400 by 400 image then its no blur but then lightbox is also showing small image so is it possible to upload separate image for thumbnail or make thumbnail image show clear without blur?

Same issue with Image Carousel.
Hello, The Visual Composer uses the image sizes specified by the theme. The issue with the thumbnail being blurred is most likely because the theme has nearby image size which is smaller than the custom size which is specified. You can check the image sizes under: settings -> media in the WordPress dashboard.

I understand the expired support but you do not have the opportunity to ask why I do not have the chance of my product purchased regularly more than a year ago and if I go to activate it tells me You do not have permission to access this page. Hello, The issue is most likely because one of your plugin or the theme is deactivating the product license tab due to which it gives an error while accessing the license page at your end.
