Ads Pro is running 68 queries for every page load on my website. This is whooping way too many queries.

It should have been done in just 4-5 queries. Do you know how to optimize that?
It is Network Activation. Further debugging showed me that most of the queries are repeated. Did you consider using static functions?

Doesn’t matter how many requests are sent (look at the times 0.0001) they are small request (saved in the cache or sessions) so there is the best technically way to show specific ads with a lot of filters.

Truly a great plugin – I replaced another one with this, and it was a great decision. One question: Is it possible to use the shortcode like this for example [bsa_pro_ad_space id=1,2,3 custom_image=”url_of_image”] such that I build an empty ad space (let’s say id=3) with no ads yet, and when that spot circles around for viewer in the fade carousel, the custom image will show? I want to show customer ads in header (shortcode works in my header) AND use the shortcode custom_image feature to sell the remaining ad space. Otherwise, how would a person show client ads #1 and #2, plus show space available for #3? It is important that I use a custom image to sell the space, as my client requires. Note: It almost works, BUT, instead of the custom_image, it is showing the grey default image… I know you are so busy, I hope this situation helps others as well, so posted here. GREAT PLUGIN!

Bascially custom_image parameter concern an ad spaces from ID param so if you want to use if_empty=4 to show another ad space if the main is empty, just you need to be sure that 4’th ad space always exist then you will be able to put any image or text. Just like normal ad in the space. Hope it helps

I have a listings plugin and wish to display specific adverts for specific categories in my listings.

Hmmm, I added the shortcode in the Ads Pro sidebar widget, for example, this: [bsa_pro_ad_space id=”1” custom_image=”IMAGE_URL”] with link to my custom placeholder (example sample) image. But the image does not appear, and the spot is really, really plain and shows the default style ad and is showing these words ALSO: Featured Spot Your Ad Here Example of the Title

Presales question. We use currently Ad server revive and this plugin seems to be ideal to change that system for yours. In Revive we have the option to create clients and then within clients, campaigns and then banners for each campaign. We can then retrieve statistics for banners or campaigns. Can you do the same thing with this plugin? Do you have that hierarchy level client/campaigns/banners?

1. Currently there is not possible to show specific products, but you can create ads with data of products then will be possible.
2. Basically you can display HTML template to make really custom ads but this point needs mid-programmer skill to make it work. There is not possible to make it in automatically.

It says in the features page that ads can be automatically accepted or manually reviewed before publishing.
1. If set to manual, does the user pay before or after the ad is reviewed and accepted?
2. If user pay before review, and then I reject the ad, what happens then? Will the user be refunded their money automatically or do I have to refund manually?
3. If I have to refund manually, and the user has paid with paypal using their credit how do I refund them since they don’t have active account on PayPal?

1. Sure, users needs to pay for ads then are marked as paid.
2. You should make a refund via the same payment method (PayPal, Stripe etc.) all payments gateways have refund option and it’s the best way to make it.
3. All received via the PayPal you can reject or cancel.
