Hi,
Plugin causes errors and is not working properly.
What is “Developer mode”?
Thanks for pointing that out. We neglected to turn off developer mode prior to release. I’ll update the plugin ASAP. In the mean time, if you want to you can turn it off without having to wait on the plugin to be updated. To do so, open the stylish-links-pro folder and find the sl-config.php file line 49:
‘dev_mode’ => true,
Change it to
‘dev_mode’ => false,
As for any errors you’re having, please let me know so I can assist. Thanks!
Changed to “false” and problems persist. Just doesn’t work.
Can you please let me know what the error is? I’m sure I can get it working for you if I can get some further details.
We use the theme Jupiter. I tested to switch theme from Jupiter to Twenty Seventeen and the errors went away. To begin with the link effects did not work with Twenty Seventeen, but after deactivating and then activating plugins it’s working with Twenty Seventeen.
Still not working with theme Jupiter. Many errors and warnings.
Update: Now I get this warning with Twenty Seventeen:
Warning: join(): Invalid arguments passed in /storage/content/.../public_html/wp-includes/class-walker-nav-menu.php on line 152
The plugin works perfectly with Twenty Seventeen and should work well with any theme. We have tested it with many themes without error. It looks like another plugin is causing your issues. We can look into it further and view your URL to troubleshoot what is causing this. Please open a support ticket and we’d be glad to help you: http://industrialthemes.ticksy.com
Thanks!
Deactivating plugins doesn’t help getting rid of errors and warnings. Have you tested with WP 4.8?
Yes, fully tested and compatible with 4.8. You can see our live demo running on WP 4.8 on TwentySeventeen theme version 1.3 with Stylish Links Pro version 1.0 with no errors here: http://www.industrialthemes.com/plugins/
