Its upto youtube API how they send it. Right now no such option in youtube but you can change that settings in youtube to control it.

Hi, I have a question before I buy it now. You must be knowing that, Facebook doesnt show full image of YouTube share links, like it does for VIMEO links.
So, Im looking for a solution, so that Wordpress can fetch the thumbnail from youtube and make it as featured post image automatically for that WP post
Then when I goto Facebook and share this post link, it will automatically show up the thumbnail image big in FB share image.
But when someone clicks on the post link on FB, it should directly goto my Youtube video instead of going to Wordpress post page with video.
Can your plugin do that ?

Lets say, You have a youtube video – ABC DRIVING.
Now that gets pulled to Wordpress automatically and your plugin will pull its thumbnail full res image and make it as featured image of the post automatically.
So the wordpress post becomes – www.domain.com/vlogs/abc-driving/
So, now I goto Facebook and share this post – www.domain.com/vlogs/abc-driving/
Facebook will pick the thumbnail featured image of this post and show as FB thumbnail.
Now if someone clicks on this post in FB, it should not goto the wordpress post page, but it should directly goto the Youtube Video.

Sorry this is not pl;ugin you are looking for.
This plugin has nothing to do with posts. Its just fetch data direct from youtube and show as gallery.
It not saves any data in WordPress database as post or in some other form.

Hi. I’m really impressed with the options and functionality of your plugin.
I’ve just purchased it, but am having issues with getting videos to load.
I have put in my user ID and own YouTube API keys. The plugin works fine when I insert my channel ID. However it doesn’t load the videos when I leave the channel ID blank (so just the user ID), or when I insert a playlist ID.
I specifically purchased the plugin to be able to display specific playlists on pages. But when I insert the playlist ID then the loader on just goes around and around on the page and never loads the videos. I get this error in the console:
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘id’ of undefined at Object.success (script.js:45) at i (jquery.js:2) at Object.fireWith [as resolveWith] (jquery.js:2) at y (jquery.js:4) at HTMLScriptElement.b.onload.b.onreadystatechange (jquery.js:4)
If I insert the channel ID and no playlist ID, then the videos load immediately. So the plugin works but seems to have an issue with the playlist ID functionality. I have tried this with two different playlist IDs and neither work.

If we enable autoplay, will the videos autoplay while editing in the backend editor? We really want auto play on the front end but not have to listen to it or multiple every time we edit the page

It has nothing to do in backend. And it will only work with visual compose plugin so make sure you have installed.
In admin side there will be just options no preview so it will not autoplay in backend.

All of a sudden, our videos stopped displaying. And all browsers are generating an error:
TypeError: undefined is not an object (evaluating ‘video.snippet.thumbnails.medium’)
And I changed sizes between them, to no effect
no matter which size I choose, I get the same error and for some reason fails on these lines (around118 of scripts.js):
if(grid_thumbnail_size == 'high') { video.snippet.image = video.snippet.thumbnails.high.url; }
if(grid_thumbnail_size == 'medium') { video.snippet.image = video.snippet.thumbnails.medium.url; }
if(grid_thumbnail_size == 'default') { video.snippet.image = video.snippet.thumbnails.default.url; }In playing around with it, I notice it seems related to the playlist (which we have been using without issue for a couple of weeks) no longer works. If I remove the playlist ID, videos from our channel will show (but of course I would prefer to continue to use the playlist we had setup that was working fine for the last two weeks)

I just purchased this plugin and have a few questions:
1. how can I get rid of the black bands (top and bottom) showing up in my youtube thumbnails? They do not show directly on the youtube site, and your example (style 7) does not show them either, but for some reason mine are
2. Using my API code fails, nothing will load. Any tricks?

1) We cant remove that black bands as it comes with image it self from youtube. May be upload proper image as thumbnail in youtube. use 16:9 ratio in image.
2) make sure you have given full permission to API but you can ignore it as its optional. But if youw ant to use then confirm it has full permission.

I purchased your plugin to work with Visual Composer. While it appears to work with Visual Composer, it is apparent that it does not do what I need for it to do. On the clients site page, I need to create a gallery of videos. However, the videos are not all from his youtube channel. Your plugin pulls in videos from the identified channel only. I cannot obtain the channel id for the other channels, nor do I want to. All I wanted was a way to display videos of my choosing in a gallery format without regard to their youtube source. As it stands, the plug in is of no value to me. Do you know of any video plugins which do, infact allow the selection of videos from various youtube sources?

After a recent update of WordPress, this plugin isn’t working. When you click on any of the videos, you are taken further down the page but no video opens. Further clicking does nothing.
Update: I’ve been able to get a video to appear when I choose the ‘Video Popup’ setting, but the option to display a video preview at the top isn’t working for some reason.
I’ve tried disabling all plugins (except Visual Composer) and it still doesn’t work.
