Hello there, i’m ready to purchase your plugin, since i would need it for a sales website where i would sell digital content. I would just want to ask a couple of things before purchasing, just to make sure it follows my needs.
I’m selling downloadable software and i would like my potential customer to be able to pay using either paypal or a credit card through paypal(i have a payments standard account there).
What is important for me is that my client is able to download my product directly after purchasing it. I don’t know much about paypal notifications system, though i happen to be a programmer myself. I read in the FAQ that you have a payment notifications system.
My question is :
Is it possible to just redirect my client to a download page right at the time they pay ? (of course making sure that the payment was indeed made). This is kinda important because there can be people that just do not have an email to receive the download link and i would probably need to code a system that gets your notifications and sends an email on a PAID event.
Could you please tell me if your plugin handles that ? I would buy instantly if i make sure that i can deliver the product without hassle.

Unfortunately our product will not be suitable for your described purpose without customizations. You would need to attach the script to your database of products and add the redirection upon payment from thank you page to download page with all necessary validations..

You have to CAREFULLY remove UL’s and LI’s – they do not impact php functionality themselves, if you get fatal error after removing them – it means that you remove some php as well (maybe a quote or double quote).

Can this plugin be set for testing (to make sure everything’s working before going live) like in your other WordPress plugin?
You can use paypal sandbox email address, however you will need to change paypal API URL to the sandbox one.

The paypal transactions and user information is not being stored in the database. Only NULL is showing up for all of the details we are trying to collect inside the DB. Also we are not receiving any email for the order, or the confirmation.
I have scrapped the DB and the FTP files and reinstalled, same issue. Using paypal on 5 tests did not send one email from the script, nor did the information get stored in the DB.
Can you assist? Don’t see what I could be doing wrong. I just had a clean install and it did not save.

It should be working fine out of the box.
Emails will be sent only if your server can send emails through php mail() function (no SMTP authentication implemented). Regarding NULL ’s in db – information supposed to be stored in db, but showed to admin ONLY if customer actually finished transaction and paid (and paypal sent IPN to IPN -page).

Do your payers (clients/customers) also need to have a PayPal account to pay via this payment terminal?
This paypal payment terminal requires your customers to have paypal account, even if they are paying by credit card on paypal checkout page – they will be forced by paypal to create paypal account.
If you don’t want your payers to force creating paypal account you can use our other plugin – Credit Card payments wordpress – http://codecanyon.net/item/credit-card-payments-wordpress/462155 it allows your customers to pay with credit card on your wordpress site directly (you must have paypal PRO account though, $30 a month to paypal).
We also have stand alone paypal PRO processing terminals and paypal standard processing terminals – all can be viewed in our portfolio.

This plugin cannot be modified for the purpose you described.
