What do you mean that you cannot choose the images or generate dhe PDF? Could you provide a more detailed description of the issue and some screens? Try also giving a look to the server error console and to the WordPress debug.log located in the wp-content folder (here how to enable debug mode: https://wp-staging.com/docs/enable-wordpress-debug-log-mode/ )

Make sure you are running both the latest version of WordPress and PHP.

I sent the information requested by email. The wordpress version used is 5.3.2, PHP version 7.0. the debug mode is already enabled. I just tried to give you an example to explain the behavior detected after implement it on a wordpress post in the following link:

please update to the latest 2.0 version I’ve just released. It will fix the warning about the constructor.

You can manually download the new version via CodeCanyon or receive as an automatic update by installing and configuring the Envato updater plugin: https://goo.gl/pkJS33 (here the guide that explains how to configure: https://envato.com/market-plugin/ ). To manually update just deactivate and delete the old plugin version and then install the new one. Don’t worry you won’t lose any data.

For what concerns the getimagesize as you can read from the error message, it depends on a server misconfiguration that is not allowing it to properly work. Edit the php.ini and properly set the allow_url_fopen parameter to 0.

In case you are unable to access that config file, contact your server maintainer to have help.

I’m sorry, but unfortunately, the plugin hasn’t such a CSS option. PDF pages are automatically set to landscape or portrait format according to the image width and height.

If you wish to customize the PDF creation, you have to manually edit the save_pdf.php file located in the scripts folder inside the plugin. It uses the FPDF library (http://www.fpdf.org/ ) to create the PDF file.

This issue could rely in a server misconfiguration/issue that may prevent the emails to be properly send. Could you envetually check the server error log and see if any warning is reported?

It sounds strange. I’ve tried to upload that image in my demo site:

Ad as you can see the plugin is properly able to create the PDF Lightbox. Are you getting that error message just only with that image? if so, try recompressing it to see if you are still gettin the same issue.

If you you are getting that error for every image, I will then need a full admin access to your site and and FTP access to the site (or the plugin forlder) in order to perform some tests. To send the accesses use a private message (click on my name then use the low-right box)

It could depend from several causes, like you have not the right folder permissions.
To try to understand what’s wrong into your webserver, I need an admin access and an ftp access. Furthermore you have to report me which steps are you following when that error message popups.

To save the current page/post title you should use the get_the_title() method then saves the result in the dataString variable. Then you use it the save_pdf.php file and you should good go go.
It should be something like this:
WPPL_PdfLightboxPost.php (on line 185)

dataString += "&page_title="+get_the_title();

save_pdf.php (on line 17)

$page_title = $_POST["page_title"]; 

Then with that variable you can do what you need.
I hope this helps.

to do that go to wordpress-pdf-lightbox\scripts folder and edit the following files:

1. save_pdf.php
2. send_mail.php

search for the Lightbox.pdf string. In the first file it should be at 87 line and in the second at 103 line. Edit that string with the one you want!

For what concerns image preselection option, It’s a nice suggestion. I can add an option in every lightbox. I’ll to my to do list, but I cannot give you an ETA.

With the theme i use now i have to load the page with /# on the end in the url otherwise it conflict with i think AJAX? when i use # it works.

Hello Paul, this sound strange. Yes this could be a javascript error, maybe the theme you use delacres some functions that conflicts with mine.

Currently the plugin provides cover option for this needing.
For every lightbox you create, you can optionally specify its own cover (in this case could be an image containing your logo and your contacts).
Whenever an user cereate a pdf, the plugin automatically adds as first page the cover specified by you.

In next release, I’m testing watermark option. By this option the plugin will add a watermark for every images added to the pdf created by user.

I’ve just submitted 1.1 version. It has a new Watermark options that lets you add a watermark to every pdf page.
