I purchased the TeamBooking plugin today and I am having some problems when I book an item. When I click the Book Now button, nothing happens. You can have a look at the form at http://www.aplustutoringgc.com.au/index.php/test/ (we are just setting up this site).
I have ensured that all the appropriate API’s are working (events showing in the calendar) and all setting appear to be correct.
Would you be able to provide some suggestions on what I might have not done correctly?

Have you added a custom regex validation somewhere? It may be a wrong expression. Please double check that and let me know.

I set everything up in google calendar and in the teambooking its ready to work i can’t get the open events to show on the calendar.

I found the problem it’s working. The problem I have is on the booking. I need to add cheaper price for the children. I can’t add to prices on the same tab.
I have one price for Adult $80 I need to add one for Child $70

1. Is it possible with unscheduled service to have just a list of services like: - Political post - News post - Church post - Education post
Then when a user click om the link it then open the booking form.
2. When next user comes, he can see that this service has been booked by such person (as the name of booker should shown)
Actually I want to buy it for this purpose: I want to list titles or articles that should be written by my team members and I want them to be checking on a same page and the person who feels that they can write such subject they book it and it shows that is has been booked so that others book different ones. But should show available and booked ones

1) Yes, but it is your “duty” to configure the list of services as a list of e.g. links to specific pages/posts, where you have inserted the selective shortcode for that unscheduled service 
2) The name of the customers who have reserved a timeslot can’t be shown right now on the frontend out of the box (but you can write your own extension to perform such task, thanks to the action/filters).
An important note: the unscheduled services are meant to be “always” available to be booked. You can’t restrict (yet again, at the moment) the number of reservations for such services. You can do that only on a user basis (i.e. the same user can’t book twice etc).

Hi VonStroheim, I’ve been testing on a localhost WAMP server PHP 5.6.25 and I get this fatal error on both the Services & the Coworkers pages: Fatal error: Call to undefined function TeamBooking\Toolkit\openssl_random_pseudo_bytes() in C:\wamp\www\mfc\wp-content\plugins\team-booking\includes\tb_toolkit.php on line 1486 Any ideas on how to fix it?

It means your PHP installation doesn’t have the openssl extension active. On WAMP server, it’s just a matter of a checkbox (or edit your php.ini file). More info here.

[Don’t close reservations for admin]
Is it possible to keep the reservations open (no closing time) for admin users? I would like to manually add bookings if they come in a night before our event.
The website shouldn’t show this as available time in the calendar, but admins should be able to do this.
Alternatively, possibly more complicated, make bookings require admin approval 1 day before the event. We usually end up talking to the client anyways and this often changes the final tour booking, so this would be the least preferred option.

Hi, sorry for the delay. Although your request is a little bit general, I suspect you’ll need a more tailored solution for that. TeamBooking, at the moment, doesn’t support multiple-day bookings at once, that could be uncomfortable for your customers as they’ll need to book each day separately.

Remainder email problem.
I think this could be another bug in new version – we noticed, that since v2.2.1 remainder emails arent sent by their settings. (In our case, they should be automaticaly sent 3 days before event which is today 29.12., but they were still not sent, so I have to do it manually).

I’ll check that, but remember: the WordPress schedule system for automated tasks, as stated in the documentation, is unreliable. It could be your site having low traffic these days, for example.

Concerning schedule system, I’ve installed WP-Mail-SMTP and it worked so far, so this could not be the cause. At least I think so

You’re confusing things a little: the SMTP plugin is about the mailserver unreliability… We are talking about the WordPress virtual cronjob that is used to trigger any scheduled task (for example, an e-mail reminder). One thing is an e-mail not being sent because your mailserver has issues (hence the SMTP plugin), another thing is a scheduled e-mail (or any other scheduled action, such as automatic database cleaning) not being triggered because of how the WordPress cronjob works (more insights here)

I’ve found a bug that could prevent the e-mail reminder to be sent under certain conditions. It will be fixed by the next version, out in 1-2 days

Twice sending email issue for me also. Started with the last updates.
Also found an issue with the “Reminder e-mail message to customer”. Can’t change it to 1 day before. When choosing and saving, it reverts back to “3 days before”

Hey! At first: Please apologize my baaaaad english :/ Then: I love your plugin (at the time, I am using doodle and I hope, that your plugin maybe could take the place of doodle one day).
But now the problem: During the past days I sometimes lost the connection to my sql-table in the front-end and in the backend. I actualy know that this problem is caused by team booking. On this side: http://new-school-photos.de/terminvereinbarung/ my customers can choose their services. In google calender I have service-containsers and at first it worked fine. But since I changed the containers to repeating entries it sometimes smashes my hole wordpress installation ^^ Are there too many entries? How long in the future could I plan? Or how many containers could be calculated? Does the plugin try to read all entries at once or month by month? Thank you so far… Chris from germany

Generally speaking, you should avoid “endless” recurring events in your Google Calendar. Just put an end to the batch (e.g. one year ahead). Let me know!

Two suggestions please;
1. Could you please allow us to an easy option to change the “Thank you for your reservation!” message? The word “reservation” reminds me of a restaurant.
Currently I go into the files and change the wording in the ProcessReservation.php file.
2. Also the “What” option to bring about the service types, doesn’t really say much. I had to change mine to “Choose Session Type”. Can you please allow us to change this easily? I changed it in the Calendar.php file.
The changes I made are only temporary as any time there is an update, I need to change them again.

Sorry to have to report this issue as still ongoing, but the “All day” event (when selected on the google calendar side) still doesn’t work correctly.
Team Booking calendar displays all available times up till 12pm.
A way around that is if I create an event from 12am – 11:59pm.

I updated using the envato plugin and my current version is 2.2.1. Following the documentation exactly, is hit “update”.
I’ve tested with my cache plugin (wp-rocket) activated and deactivated. Every time I make a change I do select “clear cache” and any change is reflected in the front end.
I’ve tested using chrome, chrome incognito and internet explorer. Using chrome’s developer tools I also do a hard refresh and clear the cache.
The plugin is taking all day as 24 hours starting from 12pm til 11:59am rather than 12am till 11:59pm. But in the documentation it says, the wordpress timezones are taken into account and not the google calendar, but both have Australia or Sydney selected as the timezone. I changed the one from wordpress to UTC +11.
When I create the container (which houses four services, I ensure the checkbox “All Day” is selected.
I’ve contacted my host, Siteground and they did a test which confirmed my time settings in wordpress are being displayed correctly.
The front end calendar is at https://debora.com.au/bookings and you will notice the two days that get affect (instead of one) is the 11th and 12th of January 2017.
I’m not sure how it can be anything but the plugin. How can I confirm any of the settings with you please?

I installed a clock plugin that uses my wordpress timezone settings and confirmed, it displays the correct time.

Please do not select UTC offsets in WordPress, always select a real city timezone. Having said that, I’ll check your settings via FTP (do I already have your FTP credentials? If not please send them to me privately via e-mail).

A notice: what I find very weird, is: all-day event derived slots, in the new version, present no times at all (so they are not suitable to be containers), but an “all-day” label. Your calendar, though, is filled with times labels… Long story short, it looks like you are running the old version, actually. That’s why I mentioned a caching plugin…

The last time you understood I was talking about private all day events, but this time you thought I was talking about All Day SERVICES.
But this ongoing issue is about All Day PRIVATE days, like “My daughters birthday” or “Holiday”.
I have two calendars, one is for my business and one is for my personal life. When I put in an all day personal life event. It is reading the 24 hour clock incorrectly.

I noticed new reservations are indicated with a little number on the Team Booking title in wordpress. We currently have 11 new bookings according to the system.
I can go into the reservation list and the number will disappear after clicking on the list. However after a few clicks in wordpress the number appears again.
Is there any setting I need to make to get this number to permanently reset when I visit the reservation list?

The reset is permanent on a user basis (it is a WordPress transient, not a TeamBooking functionality). Your issue seems more like a caching issue.

I’m doing a “next event listing” and I want to do that in a list format and not in calendar view, is this possible? In the impossibility of that, I can use a simple handmade list of events but I want to link them directly to the specific day in the calendar and, if possible, to the specific event. Is that idea possible?

I downloaded the xlsx file and when I want to open it, I have an error message “Excel cannot open the file ‘filename.xlsx’ because the file format for the file extension is not valid. Verify that the file has not been corrupted and that the file extension matches the format of the file”.

The XLSX exporting workflow is solid and it’s ultimately a job that is done by the libraries of your server (which I recall it is not the first time you have issues with…). You should try the “repair” function of Excel itself by following this procedure. Let me know!

This issue is not confirmed, I’m sorry. No issues with the exported XLSX files at all. Maybe you have some reservation’s data with non standard characters in it? Try with the selective exporting (“Bulk actions”).

You should describe your issue with a proper degree of detail (what you do, where you do it, what you get, what you see etc.). Only stating the obvious (“it doesn’t work”, “I can’t” etc.), that’s useless 
For example, you wrote “I can’t create a new Event”. But with that, I can purely guess that you created a new event (slot) in your Google Calendar and it does not appear in your frontend calendar. Just in case my guess is right, what have you tried so far to troubleshoot the issue? Have you tried the “Repair database” function in your “Core settings” tab?

I explain in detail the problem. Administration side, it creates event on google calendar and then the event in team-Booking. I sync db and db is not synchronized. It remains in synchronization even 10 minutes. but it never ends. I run a downgrade to the previous version, repaired the db, remade synchronization. Now the synchronization is successful but the event does not appear. thank you

You should never downgrade the plugin, this is not a correct procedure.
The problem was probably some “endless” recurring events in your Google Calendar, which you should avoid – always put an end to the recurring batch – because fetching “endless” event instances could drain the memory on low performing systems.
Please re-update your plugin to the very latest version and repair your database again. Then, contact me privately providing an FTP access and a WordPress admin access.
