Hi there – I have installed all ok but am getting the “Revolution Slider Error: Failed to load Stream” error.
I have checked the client ID (however, I should point out that the field that this info goes into doesnt have a Title next too it saying “Client ID”. I had to look at the source code to make sure I was inputting the client ID to the correct field.

Product description does not support shortcodes by default. You need to change the core or extend it using plugins. For example – http://magento.stackexchange.com/questions/3767/cms-page-or-static-block-inside-product-description

As far as I can see latest magento version is 1.9.3.1 ( not 1.9.4 )
Regarding your issue – try to upgrdate to latest version. 1.2.7 is rather old. It should fix the issue.
Best practice is to install it on development server first to test new update. If you do not have development version – do files / database backup before install. After that- disable cache ( System > Cache management )
- turn off css / js merge ( System > Configuration > Developer )
- disable compilation ( System > Tools > Compilation ) if you are using it
- copy files from latest package over the existing files
- log out and login again to admin

You cant access only a few latest templates which require 5.3 version. All other templates works just fine.

This is problem with styles of header block for mobile media screen size.
To solve it you can find style for mobile size: @media (max-width: 480px) and find following style:
#yt_header .content-bottom-policy .wrap-services-parent {
min-height: 260px !important;
}
This one makes slider move too low. Change it to:
#yt_header .content-bottom-policy .wrap-services-parent {
min-height: 78px !important;
}
And to push banners below down to their place add one more style:
#yt_header {
min-height: 248px;
}

Hi, my developer has the following question. Can you help?
Please check with Revolution Slider developer if they have an updated extension version for magento 2.1.2. Their site shows supported version until 2.1.1 and currently there’re errors while deploying the extension slider.

We checked Revolution Slider for Magento 2 on 2.1.2 version. Found no issues with it so it is compatible.
Updated compatible versions list in extension description as well.
About error when deploying. This could be related to missing some step on installation. Please make sure to run:
setup:upgrade setup:static-content:deploy cache:clean
Also this could be a problem with Magento deploy mode. Some problems was reported for default mode. This mode is set right after installation if no specific mode set.
Setting mode to developer or production can fix errors in this case.
If this will not help please send us details of errors and SSH/Admin access if possible. You can send them to nwdthemes@gmail.com We will investigate and help with eliminating this problem.

Looks like action on your layer was switched to Disabled. This makes no action for click on your layer.

I’ve just used one of your premium sliders to create a snow overlay and I’ve noticed it breaks the functionality of the sliders? When you apply the snow using the js in the premium slider you can no longer click on the nav buttons or on any links in the slider.

Hello. I have installed the newest version of the extension. When I set a background image for a slide (main / Background Image) the popup box does not completely load and just times out.
I can however load images directly onto the time line, not as a background image.

Basically they are using the same popup. Pretty strange that one is working fine and other does not.
1. Please check chrome developer console for javascript errors ( console can be opened by pressing F12 )
2. Please check ajax response for error message. It can be done in developer console too. Check Network tab for network activity list.

We are getting the following error when we click on “New Slider”.
“Fatal error: Call to a member function assign() on a non-object in /home/shop_test/htdocs/app/design/adminhtml/default/default/template/nwdthemes/revslider/templates/create-slider.phtml”
hi we updated the plugin to version 5.2.6 however our layout is now much higher than previously – we have a grid of 960×350px – the width of the slider in desktop is 880px, but the height expands to 460px with our previous version 4 it was fine – any changes to the layout seem to make no difference – we are uisng magento 1.9.3 (which is why we had to update the plugin!)

Sorry I miunderstood your question. Please turn it off.
As it is stated in documentation: The “Layers Grid” height essentially acts as the “max-height” for the slider. But setting the “Respect Aspect Ratio” option to “On” will allow the slider’s height to expand beyond this value (effectively disabling a “max-height” for the slider).
Hi as mentioned previously, turning it on or off does nothing, soemthing is happening that is different in this version making the slider no longer respect the settings – thats why i asked the question. It is not an obvious settings issue

Please tell what Magento version are you using and if there patches was applied there recently. It will help us to identify this problem.
Another problem with image upload not working can be a cache still using files from old version.
Or new version was not completely applied. Try to re-download and upload this version again to make sure.

Purchase code should be used in a single instance of slider. If you have another editor installation you need to deregister code on that system and register it again on local installation.
If you plan to do re-install – you also need to deregister code first.

What version of Slider Revolution are you using? Please try to download and install most recent 5.2.6.3 version. We have implemented patch for image uploader compatibility there.

In recent update we changed upload functions to work with upload feature implemented in Magento 1.9.3 version. To keep it compatible with 1.9.2 and lower layout handles are assigned dynamically depending of Magento version.
Observer that takes care of adding appropriate handles could be overridden by other extension. In this case upload feature will fail to load appropriate source files. I think this is related to problem with upload you have.
To solve it you can replace admin layout update xml file with layout update files created specially for Magento version. It not depends of observer and should solve your problem.
To apply please replace this file with file located in one of attachments.
/app/design/adminhtml/default/default/layout/nwdthemes/nwdrevslider.xml

We have implemented fix for uploader compatibility in recent 5.2.6.3 update. Please try to install this version to solve this problem.
