Hello I just want to show navigation. What you need to modify the source? Please help me. Image Verification: https://www.dropbox.com/s/qzsmn8fahc6roc8/MENU.png?dl=0
Hi.
You can hide the main menu button, search, and sidebar buttons via the settings page. Send me a message through the contact form on my profile though after you’ve disabled those elements (also include your site address) and I’ll send you a css snippet that will hide the logo and background as well.
Cheers.
Hello, I would like to change the default message that appears in email clients when clicking to share an email that says, “Hey check this out:”. Where or how can I change this default message?
Regards, Frank
Apologies, please disregard my query. I just realized that the sharing function was added via another plugin and not a Tactile function.
No worries
Hi, Do you fully support RTL?
Hi. The main menu does not have RTL support at this time. We have plans for big updates down the line though, RTL support will be added at a later date.
Cheers.
hi ive purchased the plugin it is great but i found a major bug
when your plugin is turned on it conflict with woocommerce and “Woocommerce Color or Image Variation Swatches” from code canyon
when your plugin is on the swatches doesnt work properly you can choose anything
here a link to a live website with the bug http://www.office-style.co.il/product/%D7%91%D7%A8%D7%A7/how can we fix it tnx
Hi. Frankly I don’t see how Tactile could affect that. I had a look at the site and even when all mention of Tactile is removed from the code, the color switching still doesn’t work. I also added all of Tactile’s code to the Woo plugin’s demo site, and the color switching continued to work without issues.
Feel free to send me a message through the contact form on my profile with logins included so I could have a more thorough look.
Cheers.
thanks im sending youi mail right now with login details just deactivate tatctile and you will see what im talking about
thanks
Hi, I love your mobile menu plugins. But I got a problem, have you go any way to merge both? I love de second slide menu of Tactile, but not the menu appearence when it’s open. Is there any easy way to mix both? I mean that when menu opens in Tactile, the appereance was like in morph.
I don’t care if I must buy both.
Thanks in advance.
Hi. It is possible to use both menus at once but when it comes to essentially merging the two different designs into one.. that is something else altogether. Something like that would be a sizable undertaking and certainly something you’d need a freelancer for.
Cheers.
Ok, thanks for your quick answer. I will try with Tactile then, the problem with it is that when menu opens, it seems to small, that’s why I don’t like at all. But all are awesome.
Congrats.
You can change Tactile’s main menu width on the settings page to make it larger.
Purchased! Let’s try it. Thanks for your support.
Sure thing, and thanks
pre-sales questions!
Looking into purchasing one of your awesomeeee menu apps, and I’m really interested in this one because of the horizontal swipe. I have a few questions!
1. I’ve read over the comments and I noticed that you said this isn’t great for long menus – is there a hard limit on how many items it accepts?
2. I came across Tap Tap because I was looking for something lightweight; how does this compare in terms of that?
3. I read in the comments that we can’t use icons; does that go for Font Awesome as well?
4. Is the hamburger icon made with pure CSS or is it an image? Wondering if I can go into the code and switch it out with an image, as I’m not sure how to create what I’d want with CSS.
Thanks so much in advance for taking the time to answer these!
Hi.
1. It’s up to you. I think from a usability point of view you certainly don’t want to add a mega menu amount of menu items. But there’s no limit coded in or anything like that.
2. The designs are completely different. Check the demo sites to see them both in action and the item pages for all the details.
3. Icons aren’t included. if you know how to add them then you can do whatever you want of course.
Cheers.
WOW! what a speedy response. I didn’t know you would get back so fast and added this last question as you must have been replying.
Thanks so much for the above responses. To follow up on #2, I thought lightweight was in reference to how fast/slow it loads. They are indeed two beautiful but different designs, but I am wondering if either one is more impactful on loading times? Sorry if that is not what lightweight was meant to imply!
4. Is the hamburger icon made with pure CSS or is it an image? Wondering if I can go into the code and switch it out with an image, as I’m not sure how to create what I’d want with CSS.
They’re both fast. Don’t count on slowdowns with any of my menu plugins. And the icon is html/css.
Really truly so grateful to have you respond so quickly! Thanks again for your help.
Sure thing.
good day, i have menu links that call the login with ajax plugin.. i want to know if this plugin can execute the modal. I know on the url is calls #login for example but nada happends.. should i call it any other form or way?
Thanks
Hi.
I’m afraid I can’t know how your modal functions. You should ask the modal developer that. If it activated by certain class or id then adding that to a menu item should be enough (my own Canvas plugin functions that way for example). But whatever modal you’re using may approach it differently, so that’s really a question to the modal’s developer.
Cheers.
Ok nice, I will look into the devs closer. thanks
Hi,
Very nice menu, i love it but i can’t use it in my project because breaks the woocommerce product tabs
Any Tips for apply ?
Hi mate, Tactile hasn’t been tested with Woo. It may not even be a Woo issue though, could easily be the theme you have. Feel free to go for a refund, I don’t want you to feel stuck with a product. Or you could keep for a future project. Your call
Cheers.
Only for mobile?
Hi. It’s designed with mobile in mind but you can use it anywhere.
Pre Purchase questions. Is this a plugin or a snippet of code??
Hi. It’s a WordPress plugin.
Hi there. 1. Is it possible to set the mobile behaviour of the menu to be fully expanded, instead of collapsed when opened on a mobile device 2. Do you allow the use of icons in the menu items Thanks
Hi. No icons, and the menu is closed by default.
Cheers.
Hey there, i purchased the plugin but i cannot install it. When i go to plugin upload area in wordpress, it says that the package is not a valid plugin. What can i do? thanks for help
Hi there. You’re trying to install the entire package probably. Download and upload the plugin zip file only (or extract the main package you already downloaded and get it from there).
Cheers.
i got it…thanks
Hi, i need to add another icon right after the search icon. A cart cion with a direct href to the page. i tried to add it after the <!- END SEARCH FORM -> on the tactile.php but no luck. can you please guide me on adding the icon with a link.
thank you
Soz mate, for custom work like that you’ll need a freelancer (I’m not taking on custom work myself right now). As a hint though, if you want an icon after the search icon, you’ll also need to reposition the search button itself (just change the “right” value under the ”.tactile-search-button” class in tactile.css). Then you could just make a copy of the aforementioned class, rename it, and apply to your new button.
That’s as far as I can go though. If you don’t have the know-how to handle that then you’ll really need a freelancer for such a customization.
Cheers.
Hi, first off, great plug in, but i do need to know how to make the search only to search products in my eCommerce site ? I’m using woocommerce and YITH theme. please let me know exactly where and what needs to be added or changed?
thank you
Hi. The Tactile search uses the default WordPress search function. If you need to customize it to perform a specific function then this is really something you need to get a freelancer for. You’ll find the code well marked for cases such as this (you’ll find the search box code in tactile.php, between the <!-- BEGIN SEARCH FORM --> and <!-- END SEARCH FORM --> markers).
Cheers.
pre-sale questions
is the header shown a sticky header/menu? i need it to be able to use only on mobile and as a sticky header/menu.
let me know before i buy it, i dont see it on the demos and on the description.
Thank You
Hi. Tactile can be both sticky or not (this is the fixed/absolute positioning as mentioned on the item page).
Cheers.
Can the search option be disabled?
Thank you.
Hi. Yes, it can.
Cheers.
Anyway to make the hamburger icon bigger and add the text MENU under it?
Hi.
Sure, but you’ll have to edit the code for that or have it customized by a freelancer. If you want to roll up your sleeves yourself, you’ll notice the code is very well marked for cases such as this; you’ll find the menu button code in tactile.php between the <!-- BEGIN MENU BUTTON -->
and <!-- END MENU BUTTON -->
Cheers.
Hello, I also have the same error in Chrome Inspect Element > Console as reported by dreampulsemedia 7 months ago:
Uncaught ReferenceError: Swiper is not defined
(anonymous function) @ tactile.js?ver=1:75
which references the following in tactile.js?ver=1:
<!-- BEGIN HORIZONTAL MENU SWIPE -->
var mySwiper = new Swiper('.swiper-container',{
scrollContainer: true
});
<!-- END HORIZONTAL MENU SWIPE -->
There was no indication in the comment response if and how the error was resolved. Would you mind sharing the solution if there is one? I am currently on WP 4.3.1.
Regards, Frank
Hi Frank.
The notice is displayed because the main function is coming from another file which makes the horizontal menu swipeable. It’s not anything to worry about.
Cheers.
Thank you for the reply! if you are curious to check out our implementation of Tactile menu for our client’s site, visit www.moppenheim.tv.
Nice
I love it when people roll up their sleeves like that.
will this mobile menu work for my art site that has many, many items in the menu? nepaldog.com (side bar menu, Dogs, Cats, etc.)
Hi. For that many menu items I’d recommend our TapTap or Morph mobile menus. Tactile is really intended for shorter menus. I’ve put the links for you below:
TapTap: http://codecanyon.net/item/taptap-a-super-customizable-wordpress-mobile-menu/9966828
Morph: http://codecanyon.net/item/morph-customizable-flyout-wordpress-menu/10685700
Cheers.
this plugin use only for mobile devices
You can use it anywhere (some customers do as well) but it’s certainly designed with mobile devices in mind.
your plugin demo #1 show top right menu (three dot ) this menu use for social icon facebook twitter etc. or use my account and card , checkout etc
That’s the widgetized area. You can add widgets there.
is possible loge set top center of header . right side of brand menu ..
That’s not included. That you’ll have to get customized.
ok thanks
awesome plugin .
