Hi,
I am getting issue in revslider package v5_2_6_2.
I have installed revslider package v5_2_6_2 in magento ver. 1.7.0.2 and it is showing issue. When i try to upload image from “Main / Background Image”, “Browse File..” and “Upload Files” button not showing.
Also same issue on magento 1.9.1.0.
Please check and advise!
And it is something very urgent for us, please reply soon.
Hi
In our recent update released we changed media uploading functions to make it compatible with Magento 1.9.3 version. But unfortunately with this update uploading feature got broken for 1.9.2.x versions.
We fixed this feature to make it compatible with old and new versions. It will be part of new version to be released shortly.
Right now you can solve this problem and make uploader work 1.9.2.x and 1.9.3 version with recent Slider Revolution extension by uploading this patch:

Hi
We checked 5.2.6.2 with recent patch applied on 1.7.02 installation and it is working there.
Is there compilation mode or cache was enabled when you installed this patch?
Please specify is whole website gone down or you mean upload image not working there?
To get reason of problem please send us logs from your live website to nwdthemes@gmail.com We will check them and give you solution.
Files to look for: /var/log/system.log /var/log/exceptions.log /var/report/ (recent files) php_error.log (located in root or in server logs folder)

We released recent version recently with this issue resolved. Please download and install version 5.2.6.3. This should fix this upload problem. Don’t forget to flush Magento and browser cache to make sure new files are in use.
Hi,
Im using Magento Rev Slider and made some slides in my local server. Then I imported them to our UAT site and realised that Im no longer allowed to edit the Slider Settings, actually it doesnt allow me to save any changes on the settings. Is this a known issue or Im missing something else here.
And another thing…is there any API available I can use so that whenever a video ends it jumps to a specific slide.
Thanks!
If I may add, I cant add any actions neither on this imported slides…
I also lost the Global CSS when I imported
Drag and drop feature on the layer not working as well.
Let me take that back, drag and drop is working now after adding another slide…
Hi
This could be problem with javascript error in new location. Please make sure all extension files was transferred and files are accessible.
We can give you detailed advice if you check for javascript error in browser console (F12 in Chrome for example) and paste it here. This will give us idea where the problem is coming from.
For jump to slide on video end you can use API video stop event:
revapi17.bind("revolution.slide.onvideostop",function (e,data) {
console.log("video stop");
//data.video - The Video API to Manage Video functions
//data.videotype - youtube, vimeo, html5
//data.settings - Video Settings});
In this event you can use go to slide API method:
revapi17.revshowslide(slideNumber);
Thanks a lot,

Here is the Javascript error – http://pasteboard.co/hrThjdHpt.jpg
Regarding JS error – it seems that something is wrong with the encoding.
Could you disable javascript merge and provide a link to your site so we could check it live?
Or you can provide admin / ftp credentials to nwdthemes@gmail.com and we will check the issue.
Hi,
The site is actually within our UAT and unfortunately its not on live yet and this should not be publicly accessible.
I did tried to disable JS merge (from UAT) and it worked however we cannot leave our JS unmerged on LIVE site. It is possible though to target specific JS to exclude from merge. Are you able to advise which Rev Slider JS can be excluded from merging which could be causing this issue?
Thanks!
<reference name="head">
....
</reference>
So the error message shows up only from the admin when the javascripts are merged. Could this be a bug?
I also just realised there are too may JS files to exclude in the exclude merge option so this may not work. Is there any fix or workaround I can do for this?
I have checked merge mode on default install and it is working fine. So the issue connected to one of additional scripts added by extensions.
Unfortunately we cant give you any reasonable advice without ability to debug it. Are there any change you could setup staging server?
Hi,
We found out that it is the Fooman_SpeedsterAdvanced module which is causing the exception. This is a popular module for performance imporovement.
Hopefully this gives additional info for the others who might have a similar issue as well. And for the author to be aware of this clash.
Thanks for report.
Just to clarify – are you talking about this extension – http://store.fooman.co.nz/extensions/magento-extension-speedster.html ?
Yes, that’s the one…
Thanks. We will investigate it
Since the latest update 5.2.6.1, I’m unable to upload images in the sliders.
The option to browse or upload images is now missing. I can create a new folder, but the button to browse files or upload images is gone.
I’ve cleared my caches, logged in, out etc.
Hi
We released an update this weekend. 5.2.6.1. Please try to download and install it. It should fix the issue.
If that does not help – Please provide admin / ftp credentials to nwdthemes@gmail.com . We will check the issue.
Thanks a lot,
I did install 5.2.6.1, however I’m running magento 1.9.2.4 not 1.9.3. I reverted to the the previous extension version and it fixed it for now so I can still work.

http://nwdthemes.com/files/rs-m1-5262-uploader192-patch.zipwe get these updates and have no idea how to update our magento site with it. its not in Magento Connect
and the slider admin doesn’t have anything to upload
and copying files over other files seems scary and simply archaic
we need some help
Hi
Yes we thought about creating package version to allow install it via Magento Connect. As well it can be automatic update feature like in WordPress version. Btw what type of update will be better for you?
So far only manual file upload update option is available. It is safe and not complicated if follow advises in documentation. You can find instructions there depending of Magento platform you are using (1.x or 2.x).
If you’ll have problems with upgrade let us know and we will help you with it.
HI,
I bought your module, and I’m facing some trouble with it. It is not possible to select any slide target in action “jump to a slide” and to save the slide.
To you know what the issue is?
Hi
We found problem you reported. Now working on solving it. Will send you fix for it shortly.
Hi
Please download and apply this patch to fix problem with jump to slides list in layer actions:
http://nwdthemes.com/files/rs-m1-5262-jumpto-fix.zipSorry for inconveniences and thank you for reporting this bug.
I was trying my best to get everything sorted without having to post a comment, I am Hosting my website on Nexcess and you know how they are with their security protocols and all. However when I try in install a template it doesn’t go through and when I create a template and try to save it I am getting Ajax Error. I downloaded the zip file you gave the others but for some reason I am still having that issue, I was wondering if you could assist me a bit to get my install going.
Hi
We released an update this weekend. Please try to download and install it. It should fix the issue.

Thanks a lot,
I Installed the update and it fixed the backend, but it now break the frontend of the website. I will email my admin info in a few for you to check it out. Thanks.
Hi
Please check email. We sent you fix for this problem there.
I’m getting a “The slider is not initialized” error on my home page at http://www.taftoystore.com/ using Magento CE 2 and Porto theme. Appreciate any advise on what I’m doing wrong.
Hi
This error can be caused by numeric slider alias. In this case script assumes slider id is used as am argument and can’t find slider by it.
We will fix this error in next updates. Now to solve this issue you can change alias to text one.
Thanks a lot,

My slider alias is ‘homepage’ not numeric… any other ideas?
This is strange because this was only way we was able to reproduce this error. Please give more details about the way slider added to home page (widget instance, code in template, alias in cms block)
Another thing can’t see javascript libraries related to slider included. Only one css settings.css file is there. So this could be a problem with caching/outdated static content. Please try to clean cache and re-deploy static content to see if it will solve this problem.
Hi,
I recently bought your slider extension for my magento site. During ftp files upload 20 files gave error.
Please advice how to fix this.
Your urgent responce is highly appreciated.
Thank you
He, I get a blank screen for slider overview. i did every thing according to manual. Delete cached and disable composing. other pages are working… can you pls help?
Kind Regards,
Lery
Hi,
suddenly I can’t to edit images in the layer slide (for every slide). After the firsth drag on image, I have this error in my console:
TypeError: Cannot read property ‘font-family’ of null /skin/adminhtml/default/default/nwdthemes/revslider/admin/assets/js/edit_layers.js:7039:57 updateSubStyleParameters() /skin/adminhtml/default/default/nwdthemes/revslider/admin/assets/js/edit_layers.js:7718:14 updateLayerFormFields() /skin/adminhtml/default/default/nwdthemes/revslider/admin/assets/js/edit_layers.js:8254:3 t.setLayerSelected() /skin/adminhtml/default/default/nwdthemes/revslider/admin/assets/js/edit_layers.js:4267:7 HTMLDivElement.() /js/nwdthemes/jquery-1.11.0.min.js:3:8066 HTMLDivElement.dispatch() /js/nwdthemes/jquery-1.11.0.min.js:3:4767 HTMLDivElement.r.handle()
And the edito doesn’t work. How I can fix it? now I’m not able to edit anythings. Thank you.
Hi
This is a bug found recently that related to conflict with prototype.js library. Slider script accidentally adds its methods as slide layers properties. It causes problems with create, save and duplicate layers.
We fixed this bug and this bugfix will be included in next update released shortly. Now you can solve it by applying this patch:
http://nwdthemes.com/files/rs-m1-5262-b08.zipIt will solve this and some other minor issues discovered in this version.

Hi, thankyou for your response. I just upload all files in the root of my magento website? thank you in advance
Yes, you need to upload content of zip into your magento root. So
- [rs-m1-5262-b08.zip]/app -> [magento_root]/app
- [rs-m1-5262-b08.zip]/lib -> [magento_root]/lib
- [rs-m1-5262-b08.zip]/skin -> [magento_root]/skin
Hi i have uploaded the files in my magento website, but now this error appear: Fatal error: Call to undefined method RevSlider::getSlidesWPML() in /home/cemon/htdocs/app/code/community/Nwdthemes/Revslider/Block/Adminhtml/Slide/Editor.php on line 62 I think that WPML is for wordpress and not for magento. Can you give some support for this? thankyou
We have submitted an update for Slider Revolution. You will receive a letter when it will be approved. Please try to install it. It should fix the issue.
If that does not help please provide admin / ftp credentials to nwdthemes@gmail.com . We will check the issue monday morning.
I am getting a TypeError: foundstyles.params is null on edit_layers.js:4209 when I try to add a text layer. How should I fix this?

Thanks for the reply. I installed the patch and now I’m getting this error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined method Nwdthemes_Revslider_Helper_Images::imageUrl() in /home/.../public_html/lib/Nwdthemes/Revslider/slide.class.php on line 3002
Is there a fix for this? Currently Revolution Slider is completely disabled now.

Hi
Install instructions located in Documentation – http://nwdthemes.com/docs/slider_revolution/docs/install-the-plugin.html
They are pretty straightforward. If you do have an issue with some step – please clarify it.
We also provide installation service. It cost $65 USD. Let me know if you are interested.
Thanks a lot,
I cannot reply to email but it now works thanks!
Glad it is working. Let me know if I can help you further!
The plugin works fine.. great work!
How do I download zip files or offline zips?
Hi
Please provide admin / ftp credentials to nwdthemes@gmail.com . We will check the issue.
Thanks a lot,
When I add a pendulum loop to anything I am unable to add any other “loop easing”. If I add anything it just does the basic one no matter what. If I switch from pendulum to rotate, the easing I choose works correct. The problem seem to be isolated to the pendulum loop.
Hi
We checked and found problem with pendulum loop and easing. When in admin slide editor live preview in editor shows different easing, like elastic one for example. But when using preview or embedding slider to front end it falls back to default easing.
Added task for our front end developer to fix this bug. We will let you know once it will be fixed. Thank you for pointing at this issue.
Thanks a lot,

Hello, Having installed the module, I’m getting parse errors front and back end, including:
ParseError: Could not parse call arguments or missing ‘)’ in settings.css on line 917, column 74:
Thanks, Alex
Hi
1. Please check that you have uploaded all extension files. Try to reupload them.
2. Check that extension files has same permissions as other magento files.
3. Clarify magento version, extension version and steps to recreate the issue, or page with the issue.
Thanks a lot,
Hello,
I’ve reuploaded, looked at permissions etc, and to no avail.
You can see an issue here: http://hiremanhire.lightne.st/ but there are many more on the admin Rev Slider page.
The slider is version 5.2.6.1, Magento is 2.1.1.
Thanks
It seems to be Less compiler issue – https://github.com/less/less.js/issues/734
For now please comment out lines 916 and 917 in app\code\Nwdthemes\Revslider\view\frontend\web\public\assets\css\settings.css and run deploy static content again
Thank you for the fast and excellent support.
Ok, that’s solved the home page, but I’m still getting multiple similar issues in admin. Should I just comment those out too?
Examples:
“ParseError: Could not parse call arguments or missing ‘)’ in settings.css on line 917, column 74”
“ParseError: Unrecognised input in edit_layers.css on line 454, column 28:”
“ParseError: Unrecognised input in admin.css on line 2363, column 61:”
“ParseError: Could not parse call arguments or missing ‘)’ in codemirror.css on line 112, column 75:”
Thanks.
Ok, so the first and last ones in my last comment are the same as the previous one and your github link.
The two middle ones are typos in your css files. As is the following:
“ParseError: Unrecognised input in admin.css on line 2444, column 51:”
Having fixed all of those the admin is working again.
Thanks.
Thanks for bug report and typos info. We will check it and add a fix to upcoming update
Hello There.
I just purchased your plugin today and unfortunately it looks like our company is just not going to be able to use magento 2 after all. Is there any chance my license could be transferred to a wordpress plugin? It would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
Ryan Matteson
Hi, I purchased and installed the component on a magento 2.07. I followed the install steps and now when I try to activate the component I am getting a javascript error message.
I tracked down on the network tab that’s failing to load the revAdmin.js from the pub folder.
Please let me know what could be wrong, those missing files should download when running the install commands ?
Hi, It worked. Thanks!
Glad it is working. Let me know if I can help you further!
Dear Sir/Madam,
I have created custom fonts and when pulling them in through css it displays differently than the rest of the site. i followed this guide but of course applied it to magento version.
https://www.themepunch.com/faq/use-fonts-google-fonts/Kind Regards
Stuart
Hi Stuart
Maybe one of theme styles affects slider text layers font weight or size. Or font file size was not loaded for some reason and it falling back to other font.
Can you please give us screenshot or url where we can check it and help you with it.
You can paste here or send to nwdthemes@gmail.com
Thanks a lot,
