Is there a way to set the default of which variation the tables are sorted by?

We are importing products and the import in order but once the variation table is activated, it displays them out of order. So I'm not sure what it is sorting by. It would take too long for us to go in manually and rearrange them. Any suggestions?

Thank you,

Also, the sorting header option doesn’t seem to working

Hello Banyan3,

Thank you for asking.

About the SKU sorting; yes, please sort your variations by SKU on the backend :)

Can you please provide a link to the page with the “header option doesn’t seem to work” issue?

Thank you in advance.

Best regards,
Spyros

Hello Banyan3,

Thank you for the rating :)
But let’s move on. Did you see my reply? Were you able to put the meta on the product so you can sort?

Best regards,
Spyros

Hello,

does that support Variation Description field in the table? It should be awesome if it supports that or if you can add that in order to buy and use the plugin please!

I am sorry, this is not possible :|

May I know which day will you release the update please with the addon?

Hello hellobusiness,

I am sorry, I do not have a specific date.

Spyros

I have problem with using your plugin in my website. Here is the product page of my website – http://icestartup.com/testsites/wireframemark1243/genremv5/product/tadalafil-cialis/

If the user selects a product and adjusts the quantity to 3, then the user add’s to cart. When the user is redirected to the cart the quantities are showing up as 1, the User then has to re-input quantity amount and update the cart.

You can see it for yourself if you go to my link.

How do i fix that? This is urgent.

Cache solved the issue of cart being empty. The issue I have is this though …..

Try these steps Spyros in this link – http://icestartup.com/testsites/wireframemark1243/genremv5/product/tadalafil-cialis/

Select a product and adjust the quantity to 3 -> Then Click add to cart -> You will be redirected to the cart BUT the quantities are showing up as 1 !! -> You will have to re-input quantity amount and update the cart.

This is the problem. Quantity is changing from 3 to 1 as it goes from product page to cart page. Do let me know what to do.

Thanks Nifal

It seems to work now after I updated W3totalcache. Is there something I should be aware about when using a cache plugin?

Hello nradam123,

I am not sure why W3TC is causing this. Maybe experiment more with it. I suspect object caching may be doing this. However I did not get any of the issue you are describing when I tried this. :\

Hi, I have downloaded Variation Table Grid v. 1.3.3 and my “add to cart” button is not working.

I have found why it is not working. I have “enable” both “add to cart” and “global add to cart” button, and I have to click on the checkmark when adding a single product to the cart. When the “global add to cart” is disable the “add to cart” works as fine without the checkmark.

Is there anyway I can use “add to cart” without checking the checkmark, and still have the “global add to cart” button enable?

Hello DLDesign_dk,

I am going to fix this on the next version. For now you may enable the checkboxes to be checked by default. I am sorry for the inconvenience.

Best regards,
Spyros

i am hoping you can help me with this. I purchased your plugin and I have to say I love it. However, it is conflicting with the woocommerce product add-ons plugin. It essentially removed the ability to display upload forms on a per product basis which is an essential aspect to the website. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hello LenoirINT,

I am sorry, but I have not tested the plugin with “woocommerce product add-ons plugin”, hence it is not official supported. It’s not planned to add support for it, at least in the near future, as I am not sure how this can work and fit on the plugin’s layout.

Best regards,
Spyros

Thank you for the reply. It doesn’t need to go in the plugin table. It needs to rest above the plugin table and tie into the add to cart button. Basically the way I see it is with your plugin you are replacing the woocommerce_variable_add_to_cart section with vt_woocommerce_variable_add_to_cart which wipes out the area above the table where this plugin is supposed to go.

Hello LenoirINT,

I got your emails. This is not that simple to resolve. It will take a couple of weeks or more to figure this out. I am sorry. :|

I’m receiving the following error when I attempt to view the table for the first time:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 721549 bytes) in /home/diamopf7/public_html/wp-content/plugins/woo-variations-table/woo-variations-table.php on line 251

Hello oephraim,

Maybe you need this plugin then?

This plugin may work. Will this plugin allow me to list additional attributes in the list?

Hello oephraim,

No, it will not display any attributes. I am sorry.

Best regards,
Spyros

Hello, the plugin you can view the description of the variation in a quick view? Thank you.

Hello hiper,

Do you mean mean YITH Quick View?

Best regards,
Spyros

Yes, but I mean to display the description of the variation. For example, a Quick View button on each variation, when the user clicks opens the description of variation. Thank you.

Hey hiper,

I understand better now. Unfortunately there is no such option. It will display the description on a column or underneath the main variation row.

Best regards,
Spyros

I must be missing something in setting this up. The table is not populating with the variation data. In other words, I have column headings but no product info beneath.

I need each of my variable products to have its own table, with multiple variations in most cases.

I’m using the Trizzy theme with WooCommerce. Is there more complete documentation other than what’s on Envato and included with the zip file? I’m probably just not understanding how the settings work, both the general and the product-specific settings.

Also happy to provide admin to the dev site if that helps.

Thanks!

Yes, it seems that I will need wp-admin. Please use the form on the sidebar of my profile here on codecanyon.

It seems that I need to check the stock control again. I fixed the settings for you for now.

Hi Matt Again 67836176-8311-40b2-8390-47b11a1764f8 – 24 Sep 2016

Sorry I got this sorted – Reason for not displaying was I had not set the pa_attributes so all variations were set to “any size” – This caused the table not to display

Apologise if this caused any inconvenience

Matt

I am glad you figured it out Matt. No reason to apologise :)

Hi,

Thank you for this plugin – It looks like exactly what I’m after.

I am just having a bit of trouble getting the [vartable] shortcode to display my table..

Purchase Code: 67836176-8311-40b2-8390-47b11a1764f8 – 24 Sep 2016

The header and footer shows but no variations – Am I doing something wrong?

Many Thanks

Matt

This was sorted out by Matt himself :)

Hello, great plugin. Just what I was looking for. However, I have two questions/issues:

1) I had e a ‘direct to checkout’ redirect when user pressed the ‘add to cart’ button. But now it doesn’t work anymore. Any way (f.e. via hook) to make that working again?

2) I have a (crucial) important custom product field. A text input field, added via Booster for Woocommerce. But all that is inserted there now, gets lost. Even if you type in something. Any solution for this?

You can see it on: goo.gl/iwLVz2

Best regards

Peter

Hello Peter,

Thank you for the purchase.

1. I have a hook in the javascript file that is triggered when the “add to cart” is finished. Do you have any JS knowledge?

2. Does the “Booster” add metadata to the product? If it does you can hook to the header via the “vartable_header_th” filter and the columns via the “vartable_output_array” filter.

If the above sound “strange” to you, please let me know (although what you ask is customization and this is out of the scope of the support of the plugin).

Spyros

Is it possible to work together your plugin Woocommerce Variations to Table – Grid and plug-Cart to Quote for Woocommerce

Hello EEstyle,

Thank you for asking.
I am working on it. I estimate to have this ready next week.

Best regards,
Spyros

Sorry my purchase code is 37ef7300-af89-4397-bef8-fb15ccae5604

Thanks again Richard

No worries, Codecanyon label user that have purchased the plugin :)

Hi I love the plugin bur I am having one issue that it is after messing up the sizes attribute/variation on all my products (i have nearly 1000 products and all the sizes not in order) Is there something in your settings for the plugin to change to fix this?

Thanks Richard my site is customwear.ie if you need to look at some of the products to unerstand what i mean

Hello rmurphy1971,

I think what you mean is that you want the sizes to be in logical order, am I right?

Currently, the only way to be sure about the order is to edit the product, go to the variations tab, double click on the sorting handle of the variation and set the number for sorting.

Best regards,
Spyros

Hello,

I would like to ask you if its possible to make the table with the variations to has a max height and a vertical scroll bar. Can you do that?

Hey hellobusiness,

You will need to add custom CSS to do this. It will not do it out of the box.

Best regards,
Spyros

Hello, This plugin is very nice and helpful. I use it for a long and comfortable. For my client I could use a similar form but for prestashop, you never thought of developing it for that platform? for sure I would purchase! :-)

Hello 131ice,

I am sorry, I do not develop for prestashop.

Best regards,
Spyros

Hi there,

love your plugin, but I was wondering if possible to include a Quote button instead of Add to cart button? We currently run the plugin “Product Enquiry Pro” by Wisdmlabs, and would like to have the enquiry button for each product variant instead of the add to cart button.

Best regards, Ronny

Hello dittgrafisk,

Thank you for the purchase.

I am going to include support on my quote plugin https://codecanyon.net/item/cart-to-quote-for-woocommerce/17477111 in the next week.

Please contact Wisdmlabs so they can add support for the Woocommerce Variations to Table – Grid plugin.

Best regards,
Spyros

Great! Please notify me as soon as the quote plugin has this integration, and we would purchase it.

Hello dittgrafisk,

The new Cart to Quote for Woocommerce plugin version 1.0.5, which will be released within 24 hours, supports Woocommerce Variations to Table – Grid.

Best regards, Spyros

Display Thumbnail is sett to YES, it do not work.

Did remove the text “How do I remove “Thumbnail Alternativ Price Quantity “ but the thumbnails is not shown http://www.wp1.salongahead.se/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/10.png

Did you enable the thumb column via the settings? You will have to set it to yes. Let me know if this worked for you.

Hi

How do I remove “Thumbnail Alternativ Price Quantity “

I have tried to set “Display Table Head” to no but then the thumbnail is not showing?

Hello vision-it,

Do you have a link to the page with the issue? Thank you in advance.

Best regards,
Spyros

Hello vision-it,

I am still not sure that I understand what exactly you want to remove. Can you please point in a screenshot or explain in more detail?

Best regards,
Spyros
