I don’t have idea about ModXCloud . But anyway you have to clean open_basedir. It must needed feature for this application.
It means there is a value fro the open_basedir in your server. But you need to remove this value. open_basedir should be no value.
And there is no other way to work this application, it’s not only need for installation but also for every module to work.

hi we have installed sitespy and all has been fine for weeks then all of a sudden today its asking to register. i have entered the code but it says invalid.
its only ever been installed on the same server and url, nothing has changed.
its very lucky this is only a demo rather than a live system as the service is effectively down, and advertising to anyone that tries to use it that its ‘unregistered’ (people generally read this as ‘not genuine’)
2 questions: 1. why is the code not working, nothing has changed on this software since install. 2. what guarantee do I have that this software wont just do this again, thus making it entirely unsuitable as a solution that client may ever see/interact with? (keep in mind this is not a genuine error as all software’s can have, but presumably a failure in the licensing system keeping track of what codes are valid or an issue with the checking/activation of a license client side.)

This is weird.I just try with your purchase code and it worked. There is no problem.
You can login and use the system.
Some of buyer are using it for 4+ month with 600 user, but didn’t happen like that.
There is one reason that when it checked for the license again, that time envato API was down .
But we will implement more secure option in our next release. And in next release we will implement option to handle this exception.

Indeed checked the directories and home/installation doesn’t exist.
Also checked the downloaded zip file and doesn’t exist there either.
Any ideas?

If you face 404 page not found or 500 internal server error problem during installation (yourdomain/home/installation), It may happen for one of the 3 reason. Check each one and fix it. Your problem will be solved.First make sure, there is the .htaccess file in the root. if not extract file in local pc and copy the .htaccess file which is in the root and upload it to the server.Make sure your server has mod_rewrite enable. Off-course you didn’t set the facebook AP ID and Secret. If it is set then , at-least login button of facebook would come .
Please configure the facebook APP ID and Secret as described in the documentation. It should work.

I have moved this to another domain and sub-domain and I’m getting this error when I try to install? “dashboard.mydomain.com’s server DNS address could not be found.” is this because its not from the original domain I purchased it from? If you got 404 page not found, then may be anyhow the .htaccess file of the root folder has been deleted. Check if there is .htaccess file. If not then copy it from main source and upload it.
We recommend to give fresh install rather than copy files. After install then you can change your files which you have modified.

I created the subdomain with all the database and username etc. per the installation video and the install is not happening for some reason. There is no interaction with DNS with this script. If it says DNS address not found, it’s not the problem of the script.
The script don’t handle or control any DNS thing. So i think it’s the problem of your server DNS setting. I am not sure. But i can assure that no DNS thing is related with the script.

Actually this script is stand alone application. There is no relation with any CMS. We don’t know about any CMS and about to integrate with any CMS. Or this is very tough job.
The application is a very large project . So it will be poor decision to integrate with others. What you can is customize the application, extend feature , remove feature, add another script with it. But for this you need be a codeIgniter expert.

I have the cron going for bed and breakfast perth durhamlodge.com Australia English with site spy it says position 8 when I do a google search straight away it is on page 2 (14 or 15) when I use another tool it also says 14 (i run these on 3 different devices not on wifi that is with 3 different ISP’s

There is no issue in google keyword tracking. This question is answered multiple time. Google positiin differ time to time and location to location.
When search from sitespy it getting the ip of your hosting server. So where the hosting located , google return result corresponding it.
And when you search with browser it getting your ISP ip. So it’s different.
So in short, i can assure and 100% confirm there is no issue in keyword posirion.

HI Konok My server is running the same tools and the server is located in Sydney I run site spy and another software Both are returning different results no matter what time of the day
end result is site spy says within the top ten – other softwares says not in top ten 14th. I have tracked this for over a month searching directly on google search engine several times a day on different machines it shows the same result without fail 14th. Then i compare with different software and confirms the ranking. Using site spy it says something totally different. I understand that it differs from time to time but within milliseconds 2 software, google page displaying the same result 14th and running sitespy’s Keyword Position Analysis saying 8th

Hi Konok, tbh the search method isn’t part of the norm. Customers will only see the standard google search where it has all the ads and everything relating to the country they are in. When I get friends/staff to search on the keywords I have in the database they see the same result as I do. In this case perth bed and breakfast is in 14th place on google not whats happening in site spy. I think the tool is great however the keyword side of things just needs to show the data as is (thinking of the customer that does a search)

Help! I want to edit a line of code in application/controllers/home.php but I keep getting “permission denied” even though I changed permission from 644 to 777. Here are the two error messages:
1. fileop failure on home/fralie/public_html/mywebsite.com/software/application/controllers/home.php: permission denied
2. could not write on home/fralie/public_html/mywebsite.com/software/application/controllers/home.php: permission denied

Problem 
The front page isn’t redirecting to the login page. The software is in a subdomain at public_html/mywebsite.com/software/ and I want this url to redirect to public_html/mywebsite.com/home/login. I got the php code from another comment and changed it to $this->login_page(); but public_html/mywebsite.com/software/ never redirect to public_html/mywebsite.com/home/login

Hi Al-amin, I intentionally placed the software in a subdirectory because I’m using the root directory for other things so if I redirect as you suggest, visitors won’t see the homepage cause it’ll automatically redirect to login page.
I tried redirect(“http://siteyouwanttoredirect.com/software”); but I got a blank white page.
Him You can create a subdomain like http://app.yourmaidomain.com and map public_html/software to that subdomain. Place site files at the root and use http://app.yourmaidomain.com for redirecting.
