Why is your /wp-content/plugins/ folder called /plug-ins/? The error is because the plugin expects 2 directories deep and there’s only one. I will fix it in the next version.

Presale Question: Does this plugin allow for the ability to vote on a blog archive or category landing page where multiple posts are shown? Or does this only work on an individual post?
No, only on individual posts. If you modify your category.php or your archive.php template, then you can include the code directly.
Hi I Purchased the plugin a few weeks ago and I’m really liking it. Two comments/questions. One, If I go to a proxy site, like “hide.me” I’m able to vote and I’m not blocked. Two, If I’m behind a VPN, I’m able to vote without limits (i.e., I can vote infinitely)—any fixes to this? Or is this a server setting on my side?

Regarding the hide.me proxy, I suppose they use different IPs for connection and they don’t store cookies.
Regarding the VPN, I’m not sure. I need to check the plugin and see if there’s anything I can do to detect VPNs and/or proxy sites.
I need to release an updated version anyway, so expect something next week.

I want to make a video competition. So I’ll have post-videos and I want people vote them during a week, but after that period I want to show the post ordered by votes, hide the vote button but show the votes of each post. Is it possible?

Hello, yes it is possible. I have used it for a contest just like you said. You would need to create a custom query to sort them by votes, but it’s easy.

Not via the plugin, you can do it by setting up some database (SQL) queries.

Hi, I have used the code [vote5 top=10] to place this on a page. Its just showing up as a text. But i want it to show up as images and the individual vote buttons showing under the images. In for example columns and rows. Can this plugin do this? If yes, how can i get to look like this? If the voting plugin can not do this, it means i have just lost $15 dollars.

You can’t style it right now, unless you know your way around CSS styles.
It’s not possible to sort posts by votes, as that’s a theme configuration.
You can set up the duration of the vote in the plugin’s options and make it 9999999.

This is not possible with the current plugin configuration. You would need to modify the PHP code.

I haven’t told anyone. The plugin is not meant to function like that, and it would take a bit of work to modify it.

Hello, This is presale question. We run a deals site and we would like to show highest voted by category and by time. So for example, if we wanted to display, we could show Highest voted in the last 60 minutes/1 day/week from Category X.

Hi. The voting shortcode only works on posts or pages. If your pizza details page is a single page (or post), then you can do it. Otherwise, you can’t.

Is it possible to add this voting system into lightbox? We got a Instagram gallery with lightbox and hoping to make a contest out of it.
