hi , i see version 2.1 has the ability to assign a subscriber to multiple groups , if i import multiple files ( a file per grup ) and in each file i have subscribers that ar duplicated in other files/groups well it assign it to the new group or well say its a duplicated subscriber and ignore it ?

New version has been changed on grouping system, only campaign based tasks using unique mails, if you have same emails on different groups, system will check it sent or unsent.

This a very diabolical script that is full of bugs and errors so don’t work properly, you literally have to pray daily that it actually send any emails, which usually it doesn’t, I wish there was another alternative on codecanyon. You would have to spend more money on development costs just to fix the authors many coding mistakes!

does not work bounces, unsubscribe does not work … in statistics in bounce brand always 0, and unsubscriptions brand but on the blacklist or list of desucriptores was 0 too.

Did you set your pop/imap settings also bounce enabled settings? Some hosting services does not allow to use imap_open function usage. Please check it before.

Hello, this software should be in beta version, not in sale. CSV importing doesn’t work, also subscribe API is not working fine.
When you importing many contacts via API you will have problems with the same “subscriber_key” because it is based on time(), so if you are importing 10 contacts in 1 seconds they will have the same “subscriber_key”! Next when one of subscribers with the same “subscriber_key” will try to unsubscribe and refreshes page 10 times he will unsubscribe 10 people…
You can fix this bug by editing line 127 in lethe.api.php. Change this line: $subKey = encr(time().$fullData); to: $subKey = encr(time().$fullData.uniqid());
This is not software for $29. Maybe for $2.9.

This script relased on 2014, yes Im gone slowly for updates, but Im listening my cstomers for new features and small bugs etc, email softwares completely complex for each hosting services sorry about that, I’ve made it for common systems. If you have trouble with my software you can easly contact me for that or you can eaisly request refund if you cannot use that, there 1082 sales on this script, its not a script fault I guess. If you care about price please request refund because, you cannot make any simple logo in 2.9$price if you goin deep prices like that.

How do I go about allowing people to join multiple groups during their registration? Also, how do I disable “double opt-in” for such subscriptions?
My goal is to be able to create a form with check/select fields that point to 1 or more groups so when they ‘Save’ their subscription it inserts them automatically into each group they have selected. Once done, I do not want them to receive an email to verify their email. I want them to be Active + Single Verified.
E.g., What are you interested in? 1) Food 2) Drinks 3) Apparel
If #’s 1, 2 and 3 are existing groups and the user selects 2 or 3 of them; I want them to be placed into their selected groups.
How can I accomplish this? I do not see any way for me to do this in the subscription forms tool

1. My PHP version and IMAP Open is red (working on this with service provider) 2. IMPORTANT: Auto table creation disabled on v2.1, please import table structure via phpMyAdmin before installation. Some hosting service sql_mode configurations does not allow to create tables as our script-based queries. 3. No option for database table prefix
Next, where do I put the Connection/sending method information? (smtp, php mail etc)

Sorry for late reply, here is your answers;
1- imap_open function controlled by simple function exists system, if its shows red mark then it doesnt work on your server.
2- Older version was create tables by sql queries but too many users had trouble on that. sql_mode strict issues (hosting differecences). sql file already included on last update. You can easily import db structure.
3- Default prefix set by lethe_ if you want to change table prefix you should have change manually.
4- You can use General Settings > Submission Account section for sending method configurations.

Hello, I found my error about my problem to add a subscriber ( bad config in admin area in “lethe admin url”). But now, phpmail seems working well but not with smtp , my smtp config work with an email client (thunderbird) but the same config doesn’t work in your script (cron? 1&1). Could you help me about that? What’s kind of informations do you need? Thanks a lot !

SMTP account same with your hosting service or did you use foreign outgoing server address on your Lethe server? Whats about Test e-mails? Is it gives SMTP connection error or another output?

2. If your test mails works fine but campaigns doesnt start on launch date, it could be a cron or shell_exec issue. New update contain cron management in general settings please check it.
3. Elastic Mail method is not available on current version. If your hosting service allow to connect foreign outgoing servers, you can use SMTP method with your Elastic Mail SMTP credentials.
