Hello, I’ve got pre-sale questions. I want to use Gift carts on Grouped product and let the people filing the form (For/email/message) on the grouped product page; Is it possible? The gift cart will be made of grouped products : for exemple menu, activities, beverage. Does the pdf will show the different products offered ? without the price ? Thank’s for your answer
Hi, let’s say you buy a gift card, provide your blling information at checkout and decide to send it to a third receiver. When the receiver decide to use his gift card he will insert the code in the checkout page and he will be asked to provide his own billing information… won’t we have a double billing for a single payment?
It won’t result in a double billing. It’s not like cart of user A is being sent to cart of user B.
Is there a way to re issue a gift card if somebody did not receive an email with the code in it and no code was created? Can you force a code to be created?
Can I please receive a response to this, I have a client who this plugin is not working for and I cannot figure out how to fix it. I have commented here AND emailed, and have received no response.

I believe I was previously using a non-updated version of the plugin, and recently re purchased it, and now updated… so anybody who purchased before the update did not receive a code… if that makes sense.
I am also having an issue using the gift cards with other coupon codes and would like to know if there is a work around. Thank you!
Can you please help me or I am going to request a refund and look into another plugin. I have quite af ew people who have purchased gift cards, but are not getting their emails, the order is stuck as “processing” and I have to go in and manually create a coupon code for them… this is a site that gets thousands of orders a month, I cannot do this for every order.
Coupon is generated and sent for every gift card order. Please install email log plugin to log all outgoing emails. Thanks

Hello! When clients make an order, a gift code is generated for every product they purchase. It happened last year also and you asked me a login to my website to check the issue and I don’t know how but it was fixed. Anyway now I’ve updated the plugin to the latest version and the issue is still here. Please can you help me? I can’t use the plugin this way. Thank you

Hi, can we send a picture of the gift card along with the email accordingly? For example, if a customer buy a gift card for $10 then then the email they get is a picture of the $10, if a customer buy a gift card of $20 then they will get a different picture. Thanks.

I have same issue as mjdoa, conflict with latest Woocommerce, it makes it impossible to buy simple products from our store. I found thread on wp forum that pointed to this plugin conflict. I purchased this, set up a gift card product (simple and variable) and there is no place for sender / receiver information to be entered.

I just purchased the plugin and installed it. Running the latest WP and Woocommerce. Tested buying gift card product with 2 different email addresses. Paypal transaction went through but I never got an email back from my site saying anything about the gift. Also there were no options offered during purchase to indicate to whom it’s supposed to be awarded. What am I doing wrong here?
I figured out where the options were to indicate who the gift is for – under “additional information” in the cart – but my recepient email address still has not recieved any notice of the gift. Does this have something to do with the letter in the woocommerce settings? I didn’t change anything about that.

The email has been sent. Can you check the spam folder? Is the email a gmail? Can you also install an email log plugin to log emails sent from your server?

Well the log shows that 2 emails went out from my site. One to me as the site owner recording the purchase, and one to the gift recipient. But I did not actual receive either of them. ???
Are you able to receive other emails like new order email? Probably your webmail client is returning the emails and not actually sending them. If that’s the case, you will have to contact your host on fixing it.
I’ve had to deactivate this plugin due to conflicts with WC 2.6. When it’s active, I get an error message “no parent product set for variation #0”. I googled this and found a thread on wordpress.org that it was related to this plugin. When I deactivated, all is good and the cart works again. Are you planning a fix for this?

Hi, I think there’s a conflict between the ver. 1.8 of this plugin and Woocommerce 2.6.3. It generates error ‘No parent product set for variation #0’. As soon as I disable Gift Card every thing goes back to normal.

Hi, In the checkout page, when user buy a gift card, he has the option to send this Gift Card to someone by giving the name and the email address.
Problem: - the recipient doesn’t receive the email… Any solution? - I cannot see who is the recipient in the woo commerce back office. How can I access to this information?

1. The plugin is compatible with WC 2.6 2. The plugin can generate an email like that BUT you will have to create the email HTML yourself. 3. None has been recorded so far.
How does this plugin covers this scenario? A customer uses some amount of the gift card partially and some balance is in there. But the customer is unable to use the same card again.
Gift cards are not re-usable.
