Hello.
Your plugin is really great, but unfortunately it throws errors when there are multiple tinymce editors on the same site:
Firebug console: TypeError: tinymce.activeEditor.dom is undefined in ”...ion l(){tinymce.activeEditor.hasVisual?tinymce.activeEditor.dom.addClass(tinymce…” plugin.min.js (row1, col 5921)
Is there a way to fix that and make it work with multiple editors?

... I just tested with tinymce-bootstrap-plugin/examples/example-full.html, added a second textarea.
1st textarea id = textarea-1 2nd textarea id = textarea-2
instanciated tinyMce this way :
$("#textarea-1, #textarea-2").tinymce({
[...]
});It worked fine, without any console message.
Tested also with :
$("textarea").tinymce({
[...]
});same result.

Thanks for your quick reply. I tested it with the latest tinymce release 4.3.12 (standalone version) and couldn’t load multiple editors. So I downgraded to 4.2.8. (jquery version) and all is working fine right now.
TinyMce always have a lot of unexpected special behaviors.

If i try to edit an image, and the bootstrap popup opens, it comes up as as brocken images, and if i look at the source of the image it is not relative to the root it is missing the root slash ie it comes up like this assets/Uploads/other.jpg but it should be /assets/Uploads/other.jpg any quick fix for this?

This depends on several settings :
- tinyMce’s script_url, relative_urls, document_base_url. This should help : https://www.tinymce.com/docs/configure/url-handling/
- Bootstrap plugin’s imagesPath. tinymce-bootstrap-plugin/examples/example-full.html in your package should help.

Accordions are set using the Snippet tool (the star on the right of the toolbar).
You’ll just have to set this css to open accordions into editor : .collapse{display:block !important}
Accordions will be always opend into editor, and will work as usual in public site.

Is there a way to get a trial version, so we can try? We could install php on IIS server an try it.

So it should work. There is no trial version available, but recently Codecanyon has given possibility to buyers to ask for refunds.
So I suggest you to buy and try, ask again for help if you need (but I don’t know anything about IIS servers), and if you have troubles you can ask for refund (I’ll accept of course).

Sorry no, php code is used inside each plugin, I’m afraid it’ll be a real job to convert to asp.

How do I add another row without going into the HTML code in TinyMCE? Currently, adding another col-md-4 or whatever would be inserted into the containing div. I’d like to have it in another new row ( ) without having to go into the HTML code and manually adding the div.

Templates cannot be edited once inserted. Maybe someday, but it’s a very complex feature.
But you’ve got a workaround using snippets.
I suggest you to add one or several row(s) snippets, then you can add your prebuilt rows easily.

I can’t seem to add snippets. I am able to type in the title but not the code. In the code text box, it just shows ‘xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx’.

I see several workarounds.
Bootstrap’s accordions must have a ‘in’ class to be opened. You can :- 1st solution : remove ’.collapse{display:none}’ directive of your Bootstrap’s css backoffice
- 2nd solution : add ‘in’ class to .panel-collapse items into tinyMce’s editor using browser’s console
- 3rd solution : edit snippet and add the ‘in’ class.
2nd & 3rd solution : Once done your accordion will be opened, but registered into your database or any place with the ‘in’ class added. You may use a custom function to remove the unwanted ‘in’ classes before recording, or close the accordions on front page loading using jQuery.

Hi this plugin was exactly what i was looking until i seen it’s for php, is there a .Net alternative planned? Don’t know exactly why php is required, if server processing is a requirement use ajax and json then any server processor can be used.

Php is absolutely required, and there is many reasons for this. Especially, json cannot access to your server files (css, images, snippets, xml, ...)
I see 2 alternatives :- install php on your .NET, I think it’s possible but I’m not sure
- Put your tinyMce on a php server and call it from your .NET
I know this is a bit complicated, but I can’t do more for you, sorry.

Hi, would it be possible to have this toolbar only show when say the admin is logged in or when the admin goes into edit mode? Will the edits made with the toolbar be permanent changes to the actual html pages?

The answer is yes & yes.
1. Plugin is used like any other tinyMce plugin, you can use any conditional logic to include it or not when starting tinyMce.
2. Changes made with plugin are directly reflected & registered into tinyMce textarea.

I’m sorry you didn’t see a php server was required. A quick & dirty solution would be to put your tinyMce on a php server, and call it into an iFrame.
I don’t know anything about .net, but it seems you have solutions to run php : http://www.iis.net/learn/application-frameworks/install-and-configure-php-on-iis/install-and-configure-php
For refund you can try to ask Envato, I don’t know if they’ll accept or not. If you prefer, I can refund you half price, that’s what I get for each sale.

I’m confused. I got this plugin to work, it inserts images just fine but I can;t find simple functions like align right/left, vertical space etc. that were available in regular tinymce image options. All I see is edit image ans standard image options where I can;t change image alignement. Is this plugin overwriting image options in tinymce or your plugin doesn’t have it?

Thanks for purchase. TinyMce Bootstrap plugin doesn’t overwrite anything ; image plugin allows to use Bootstrap responsive, circle, rounded and thumb. images.
To align letf, right or center, just use tinyMce’s native text align features. Nothing special.
