Hi Danyo
This looks like, just what I’m after.
Can a role be configured so that role can only edit certain pages?
Hi,
Then you say pages, do you mean the admin menu items? Or physical pages?
Thanks
Hi Danyo.
Physical pages. I am developing a site for a Church. For example One user would only have access to the Sunday school pages. Hope this make sense
Kind regards Dave.
Hi Dave,
Sorry this is just for the WordPress admin interface really.
Thanks!
Urgent – I just bought and downloaded the zip, but its un-installable and there are only some text-documents inside the zip. What to do??
Hey,
Do you have any anti-virus installed?
Thanks
Hi. Nothing that should result in this problem. I can see the archive without extracting it. The folder consist of
A: Folder called Licensing B: admin.css.txt C: admin.js.txt D: documentation.url E: index.php.txt
And that is all. I cannot install the zipped version of this neither. So I believe there must be missing something in the version uploaded? No?
Installing Plugin from uploaded file: codecanyon-15865924-wordpress-user-role-manager.zip Unpacking the package…
Installing the plugin…
The package could not be installed. No valid plugins were found.
Plugin install failed.
Also when installing manually, the plug-in is not recognized in the plug-in overview.
Hi,
We have just checked this, and for some reason .txt is getting appended to all of the files. Please remove this. We will contact envato regarding this issue.
Thanks!
Hi there.
A: Can I also delete core WP roles? B: Will changes be kept even after uninstall? Meaning: If I delete + create userroles, will these still be active after uninstalling the plug-in? I am not interested in too many live plug-ins.
Hi,
Yes you can delete core roles, but obviously you need to be very careful. Yes changes are stored after plugin has been uninstalled. Although its not a resource intensive plugin, so wont make much difference if its left active or not.
Thanks
