Hi there.

A: Can I also delete core WP roles? B: Will changes be kept even after uninstall? Meaning: If I delete + create userroles, will these still be active after uninstalling the plug-in? I am not interested in too many live plug-ins.

Hi,

Yes you can delete core roles, but obviously you need to be very careful. Yes changes are stored after plugin has been uninstalled. Although its not a resource intensive plugin, so wont make much difference if its left active or not.

Thanks

Urgent – I just bought and downloaded the zip, but its un-installable and there are only some text-documents inside the zip. What to do??

Installing Plugin from uploaded file: codecanyon-15865924-wordpress-user-role-manager.zip Unpacking the package…

Installing the plugin…

The package could not be installed. No valid plugins were found.

Plugin install failed.

Also when installing manually, the plug-in is not recognized in the plug-in overview.

Hi,

We have just checked this, and for some reason .txt is getting appended to all of the files. Please remove this. We will contact envato regarding this issue.

Thanks!

Hi Danyo

This looks like, just what I’m after.

Can a role be configured so that role can only edit certain pages?

Hi,

Then you say pages, do you mean the admin menu items? Or physical pages?

Thanks

Hi Danyo.

Physical pages. I am developing a site for a Church. For example One user would only have access to the Sunday school pages. Hope this make sense

Kind regards Dave.

Hi Dave,

Sorry this is just for the WordPress admin interface really.

Thanks!

Hi,

Does this work with WooCommerce?

I have tried several plugins that are meant to work with Woo but they either fail by not having Woo in the WP dashboard menu or it is there, but so is every other option.

I need something that will allow me to set up a Shop Manager role that has limited dashboard menu access but can do most things in Woo.

Thanks :-)

I have the plugin and Gravity Forms installed but the GF functions are not appearing in the roles?

Hi,

Does gravity forms have its own capabilities?

Thanks

Can you export/import roles?

Hi,

Not currently. But we will look at adding this as a feature.

Thanks

hi i have a presale question. i want to build a site and have 4-5 users. Each user will be able to modify pages and posts, to add new posts, pages and content but the content will be published after the approval of the admin. Can your plugin do all the above?

Hi, this is a pre-sale question.

I need an “Order manager” role, which can only see the backend menu items WooCommerce > Orders. He should only be able to manage & see orders, nothing else. Is this possible with your plugin?

Cheers

i added manage_woocommerce, didn’t have seen that one. Now i can see the top menubar of the Backend, but still can not get into it.

I really need support, problem is still not solved!

Hi,

You need to make sure the role has a minimum level set of 1.

Thanks!

Hello there,

I bought an extension. I installed it on WP 4.7. Changed the names of roles like Administrator, Author, and saved. But right now I want to open / wp-admin “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.” It gives an error message. I changed the folder name, I got it, reloaded it. But no result. How can I fix?

Hi Danyo.

Just a question, is there a way to hide the WURM Admin Menu? My theme comes with options, and I have to allow for Manage Options WURM, which opens the WRUM menu to All user profiles.

Thank you in Advance.

Hi,

You can change the capabilities of the menu item (https://codex.wordpress.org/Roles_and_Capabilities). Or use a function to hide the menu (https://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/remove_menu_page)

Thanks!

Thank you Danyo

No problem :)

PRESALES > Congrats on your plugin, I am looking for a plugin that can do custom roles for WooCommerce. Example: Role = Stockman (his job only can edit the product stocks, all other fields are disabled and hidden), Role = Accounts (his job only can see Order success, all other fields are disabled and hidden), Role = Encoder (his job only to edit the product description, all other fields are disabled and hidden). Hope you can answer. Thanks

Pre purchase question:

I am building a site for a print shop. I need to create many new user role types. So specific they will need to be that the user roles will be named according to the business name of the customer because I need their products only visible to each business.

The businesses want privacy. They want their own online printed products to be hidden from all other logged in customers.

I will need to do this for many different businesses.

Can this plug in allow me to create these new specific user roles?

Hi,

Yes of course. You can create unlimited roles with this plugin.

Thanks!

That would be awesome! I tried membership pro but that was the wrong direction. Thanks

Will this plugin allow us to restrict editing to a certain user role? I am looking for a plugin that we can use to specify which pages various users can edit. IE: A contributor may have access to a variety of posts and one page about their subject matter, whereas another contributor would have access to two pages about a topic, and ability to publish new posts and edit one or two old posts. Will your plugin do that?
