Hi, I just bought and installed this product. All features work, except Similarweb data. It shows No Data, even though it shows “success” when I “start searching”.
For the same URL, it works in demo product.

Hi,
It basically happen , sometime .htaccess file is missing when you upload it via cpanel. First check if there is the .htaccess file in the root of the sitespy.
Also read the solution here described. http://mysitespy.net/server_configuration.php If you face 404 page not found or 500 internal server error problem during installation (yourdomain/home/installation), It may happen for one of the 3 reason. Check each one and fix it. Your problem will be solved. First make sure, there is the .htaccess file in the root. if not extract file in local pc and copy the .htaccess file which is in the root and upload it to the server. Make sure your server has mod_rewrite enable. If not , then enable it. If mod_rewrite is enabled,then make sure it is AllowOverride All for your domain in httpd.conf or apache.confLet me know if you face any problem.

Extract the sitespy folder in local pc. You will see the .htaccess file in the root. Then upload it to the sitespy folder.
Or just give me email. I will send you the file.
Sometime .htaccess file become hidden or deleted when upload via cpanel. Better to upload vai ftp.

You can install it anywhere. In root, subfolder, or subdomain. There is not restriction. And there is no need to change any code.
Just if your server has the basic requirement like curl , mod_rewrite which is standard requirement for any web hosting, then you can install it.

Thank Konok. We had issues in past where our IP was blocked by Google for parsing search page data. Any chances it would happen with your script? We will only fetch it once a day or may be after two days.
Hi, Lot of search have probability to catch by google. It depends upon how much keyword you want to search. If it is 10-20 , then it should not be a problem. But if it high, then i recommend to use some good private proxy to keep in safe zone.

It is SiteSpy’s design constraints. Every domain in visitor analysis creates an database table and there are tons of dependencies. You can add sub-domains but can not add internal urls to analysis visitor.

Hi, Result should not be wrong. The result is coming from by direct searching in google or bing or yahoo. But keep in mind that, search engine search depend upon location and vary location to location. It important to see from which ip the result is going search engine.

I think I know where the problem is. See the data below. In the website address, if I do not enter www, the data is displayed incorrectly (null) On the Facebook page, it makes no difference enter the complete url or not. I believe it will depend on how the domain is configured (dns, cname). The problem is that in your system if I enter the www, it will automatically delete

Yes i already saw it. But this doesn’t mean without www the result is wrong. In website analysis there are many metrics we calculated. And we consider only domain name. For some website wirh www return more result and most of the time same result for both.
