I am trying to import a list of more than 1 000 listings that all were claimed in the past.
How to do so that all of those listings are automatically claimed while importing, without claiming them one by one manually, please?

You can add a column to your CSV file holding the user ID of the owner of each listing, and then associate that column with the Owner (User ID) field when importing.

Make sure that you have created your custom tab from Directory -> Settings -> General. Then you can create a new Paragraph Text field from Directory -> Listings -> Fields -> Manage Form, and when doing so make sure to check the “Display this field” under “Display Settings (Tab view – Your custom tab label)” and “Process shortcode(s)” options.

That is currently not possible but we do plan to add that feature to the later version of the plugin.
I think Sabai Directory is one of the best plugin i ever used….
But….
In some cases is very difficult with no reason. To be more specific i mean with claim, unclaim etc.
I tell one scenary for example:
I want the plugin work with the follow way. I want to have 3 package when someone submit a listing. 1 free and other 2 paid. Someone when try to submit a listing, he choose a package. For example free. make a listing and the listing from default i want to be forever (not expired) and already claimed. IF the client want to jumb to a paid package, he can do easily with a button. When the time of paid package expired, if not pay, he return default to free package.
Now i cant do this way. Or is VERY complicated and i dont understand yet

That sounds like how the plugin currently works, only that the user can select another plan when renewing the current payment plan (free plan).

I have added a field type -> Form element type: Photos Maximum number of values : 2
But in the form the first time i can upload more pictures then 2. There is no check the first time on how many items you upload.
If i upload for example 2 pictures and then i want to upload an extra picture he is telling me that i can not upload more than 2 pictures (what is correct).
Also, is it possible to add ‘n up-down arrow so the user can see this pctures can be dragged up and down ? (Would be nice but not necessary)

We can not seem to reproduce that issue. Is that listing an unclaimed listing or a paid listing? Also to be clear, you can upload more than 2 files the first time, but even if you do so when you try to submit the listing, an error will be displayed which tells you to select at most 2 listings from the files already uploaded.

Indeed… you are right. You can upload more pictures but when you submit he is telling you that you can only upload 2

When you click on the user name of the reviewer’s name under the Reviews tab of each listings page, it will open a small popup box showing what the user has posted. From there you can go to each user’s page.
Is it possible to list it in the main listing section so it stand out more. Im setting up a directory for workshops and I want users to be able to browse a users other workshops easily without having to find their username in the review section
That will require modification to the directory_single_listing_summary.html.php template file so that the listing owner name is displayed on the list. We can give you a modified version of the file that shows the owner of the listing on the directory index page once you have purchased the plugin.

Hi, is it possible to get a single listing slug in the permalink to display an ID number of the listing instead of the listing title? My problem is that all the listings in my directory are in Cyrillic language, so when someone opens the listing in the browser and tries to copy and paste the listing html address (for example, ‘http://canrusnews.com/business/listing/???????????'), it pastes displaying a compilation of symbols instead of Cyrillic letters, something like this: ‘http://canrusnews.com/business/listing/%D0%BC%D0%B5%D0%B4%D0%B8' which looks quite confusing to a user. I’d rather have the listing slug as ‘http://canrusnews.com/business/listing/ID25' than ‘http://canrusnews.com/business/listing/???????????'. Any thoughts?

Unfortunately currently that is not possible. Are those URLs really confusing to people? We do have the same issue with Japanese however people are already used to it.
Those URLs are becoming incredibly long and meaningless Anyway, one more question on the same topic. Is it possible to create a Single Line Text field in the Directory-Listing-Fields, assign it to the Listing name in Cyrillic and display it right under the Main Listing name (directory-header-essential) which could be for the listing name in English? This way the listing will have two headers: Main header in English which is going to be in the hyperlink, and the Subheader in Cyrillic. I tried to test my idea but this Single Line Text field shows at the bottom of the listing thus doesn’t help at all.

Thank you for your interest in the plugin! There is no tag feature unfortunately but we will see what we can do. It does not exactly work like tags, but you can crate a Single Line Text custom field and filter listings with the value of that field, like you click on a tag which will show listings that belong to that tag.

I am changing the order of the custom fields using:

I figured the class should still be custom fields, but can’t figure out how to get the labels to appear or formatting in general of those customs fields.
Also, do you know when the My Places Theme might be done?
And your new Social Media field is great and all, but why can’t I just add more link options to that all ready existing field? If I create a new one and delete the old one, then I lose all the links already in place. Do I have to import them from the old field? How do I do that? Will I have to do this everytime you add more available fields? Why don’t you just make it so people can add a link field and select a damn icon for that link? This lack of options and support is so frustrating!

As for the new social accounts field, it is stored and rendered differently from the old one so it just does not replace the one you already have.

Unfortunately the new social media field currently does not support importing. This will be possible in version 1.4 of the plugin.

It seems to strip the page of the whole template. I get photos and no theme at all.

So, you are telling me there is absolutely no way to modify the customs fields properly?
AGAIN, this is so frustrating. I am willing to pay more for some decent support. This comments page doesn’t cut it. You need a support page with “how to” guidelines on it so people can figure stuff out on their own without having to wait for your reply on this board. And you mostly definitely need a list of developers who understand your plugin. I have gone through 5 different developers who end up just screwing things up when I try and get basic changes done.

Hello, My settings for each plan is not showing the restrictions I set. The list from the sabai-directory-pricing-table shortcode is correct, but it doesn’t carry to the actual form.
For example when I select free plan (with restrictions on social media fields) it shows all field options as if it was for the paid plan.
Also, the payment system is now disconnected. I had changed from using the Add Listing widget to the Order Now sabai-directory-pricing-table shortcode Do you know how to fix this? Or should I be using one over the other?
I keep running into display issues. Have you heard of any conflicts with the Genesis News Pro Theme? Listing description field on text is off as well as mobile styling with text running off buttons.

This is since the guest users are not able to claim listings, they are not able to submit paid listing plans so the payment plan settings are ignored. You can configure which fields and features are available for unclaimed listings from Directory -> Settings -> Claims -> Unclaimed Listing Settings. Can you make sure it works fine when you access the submit listing form as a registered user?

Also we noticed a display issue (dots showing) on the pricing table which you can fix by adding the following CSS rule to your theme style.css or a new file at wp-content/sabai/assets/style.css:

Sorry, I noticed the screenshot is for the add listing page. We looked at the page and it seems this is not an issue with our plugin but the new-pro theme used on your site. In the style.css file of the theme, there is the following CSS rule:

Thank you for your replies. I tried the CSS rule for the paid-listings-pricing-table and it has unfortunately not made a change. I tried both methods: through my themes style.css and by creating a new files in sabai assest css. Maybe removing the dots would be best. Do you know how I can do that?

My apologies! The code you gave me to remove the paid listing buttons did work. I had put it in my child theme incorrectly.
The code for fixing the button width on the text editor messes up the other buttons on that page so I have opted to disable toolbar in text mode on the editor.

You should first add custom fields from Directory -> Listings -> Fields -> Manage Form so that you can create filters for those fields.

Hello, this is the best plugin ever created, I have already used it for a site of a customer and I loved it.
Now I have to make another project and I have a pre-sale question: is there a way to make the custom field “clickable”? I need that in listing page the users can click on a custom field and see all the listings with the same value, as it happens with the categories. Or like standard Wordpress tag.
Can you tell me how to get that? Which files should I edit? And how?

Unfortunately there isn’t such feature with the plugin. You can however create a filter for your custom field form Directory -> Listings -> Fields -> Manage Filters, so that users can filter listings by the value of the custom field in the frontend.
