Hello,
I purchased the redCountDown plugin and am having an issue with it on my live server. It seems to work just fine on my local development server, but when I uploaded the single page and associated scripts to my live server, it just isn’t working.
Also, my browser console is showing two errors: (1) Uncaught SyntaxError: Invalid or unexpected token in jquery.ba-throttle-debounce.min.js:1 (2) Uncaught TypeError: e.debounce is not a function in jquery.knob.min.js:13
Please advise.
Hello, sorry I should have read through the comments first. I applied the recommended solution given to MaxgDias and its working just fine now. Thanks!
Sure
Hi, I want to use the “rC_A”, but only show the minutes and seconds, hiding the days and hrs.
Would you be so kind and provide me the CSS for that?
THANKS !!!
Sure, its:
.redCountdownWrapper > div { width: calc(50% – 20px)!important; } .redCountdownDays, .redCountdownHours { display:none!important; }
However, this is not something we support so please test it before going live
I’ve now got this other code. When I refresh the page, it always shows 5 days, 22 hours, 9 minutes, 30 seconds. How do I get it to expire on June 7, 2016 @ 8pm?
<script> $(function() { $(”#sampleRedCountdownContainer”).redCountdown({ preset: “flat-colors”, end: ‘1465289940’, now: ‘1464778169’ }); }); </script>
Hey, You’ve provided static “now” parameter, so the script thinks that it’s 1464778169 o’clock on every reload. Replace it with: Math.floor($.now() / 1000) or timestamp from server for server-time.

Purchased this the other day. Found that when using future static unix/epoch (seconds) timestamps this didn’t work. It seems to be due to the fact that $.now returns milliseconds whereas the rest of the script calculates in seconds. Adding 000 to the end of the timestamps to turn it into milliseconds doesn’t work either, as the calculations are still being done in seconds internally and the default ‘now’ variable is in milliseconds.
To make future static timestamps work in second make sure to expressly set the ‘now’ parameter as well as the ‘end’ parameter:
For example, for a date in seconds in 2018:
$('#rC_E').redCountdown({
end: 1527346800, // Epoch timestamp (May 2018)
now: $.now()/1000, // <--- Set to make seconds work
labels: true,
preset: 'white-black',
onEndCallback: function() { console.log("Time out!"); }
});
Hey, Thanks for the feedback – we’ll check this. It’s quite interresting, as we’ve sold over 170 licenses for this plugin and didn’t have such problems.

Kinds Regard,

Hey, I’m affraid you’ve purchased plain JS version of this item. Wordpress version is another plugin.

Hi,
you are right, i bought the wrong item. I purchased the right one now. thanks
Hej! Mam problem.
Usu? now() i daj po prostu moment ko?ca.
Pozdrawiamy
Boom Apps
Pozdrawiam
Hej, 1467835200000 to wynik $.now() podany w milisekundach. A potrzebny jest normalny unix timestamp w sekundach. To jest cz?sty “problemik”. Wyrzu? 3 zera z ko?ca i powinno by? ok.
Diva jako id rC_PF
Link do strony: http://vimpar.pl
Teraz mam wszystko 0…
Zacz??bym od dodania parametru now w inicjalizatorze skryptu, tj.: now: $.now() / 1000
Hello!
I’m looking for a codebase similar to this for a project I’m working on. I’m wondering if, with this, if I would be able to make a timer similar in style to this (http://imgur.com/0yPwqYf) that has countdowns ranging from 5:00 to 15:00, with the entire time-left label inside of the circle (without “minutes” or “seconds” displayed below.
Would your plugin be able to do this? If so I’m DEFINITELY looking to buy today. Please let me know!
Hey, Unfortunatelly this is not possible using our plugin.

Hy, this is my page: http://www.cuanticoweb.it/ecoinfissibiz-srl/ when you refresh the page the countdown reload time from initial. I wanna make countdown continue form what time remain.
Hey,
The plugin is initialised with end: $.now() + 10000, parameters, so it always counts to 10000 ahead of now
Best, Boom Apps Team
Does’nt metter how i initialised myself. Please tell me how i can make work like what i wont. I wanna make countdown continue form what time remain.
So you have to initialize it with such parameter. If you set end time to $.now() + 10000 it will count the same ammount of time on every refresh. Use static parameter instead, eg. 1456659888 or 1456659888000.
hello,
I followed instructions and it doesn’t show. I don’t want to give the URL publicly, please give me your email.
Thank you

HI
i just buyed the redcountdown plugin but once installing on wordpress, it gives me back the error message “can’t install the required plugin.. such missing valid plugin.
Same thing uploading it via FTP
I downloaded the zip file from codecanyon download page on my account.
Thank’s for the attention
Hello, Thanks for purchasing. Are you sure you are uploading correct ZIP file? Envato provides 2 zip files for each plugin. One is the item, second is plugin itself. The first one has a ZIP with plugin inside.
For further troubleshooting we’d require your wp-admin access, which you can email us at hello@boomapps.eu.

Hi, there is some way to put a button link to a page below countdown and hide it, when countdown arrives to 0?
Hello, You would have to modify the plugin code.
Best, Boom Apps Team
Hi I purchase dyour clock and embedded it easily.
The only thing I am not sure on is setting the time. The end time is cool but there is a part to ut now time. When I do that every time I refresh the page it restarts the countdown. I even removed the now time completely but then it showed me zero for everything.
My timestamp is 1460455200. I then also added 3 zeros at the end as I read something in the comments about that, but when I do that the countdown shows me 124 038 days remaining and the actual days are 123.
Please can you advise what I need to do to correct this?
Thank you
Hey, Can we have a link where this happens?
Best, Boom Apps Team
Hi I have sent you a private message containing the link. Thank you
Wondering if this will run with jquery 2?
Hey, It should work. You may need a jquery-migrate included.
If it don’t work you can always file for a refund.

Dear I do not know how I add in a special page
I do not have much experience in programming
And how I put the date and hour, I did not understand big numbers
Hello, Sorry for long time answer. It was long weekend in our country.
You should put end time in “end” parameter, which takes time timestamp in miliseconds.

Hi, great work, but i have a problem.
In my local PC its working. When i load in http://www.adpergs.org.br/redCountdown/adpergs.html Simple dont show nothing…
You can try your demo page, with no modifications. Dont work too: http://www.adpergs.org.br/redCountdown/demo.htmlCan you help please?
Hello, There is some problem with http://www.adpergs.org.br/redCountdown/3rdparty/jquery.ba-throttle-debounce.min.js file. As you can see there are some strange chinesse characters in it. It’s certainly not the original file. Please remove whole header of this file, so it starts with: (function(b,c){.... and it should work.

Is there a way to configure clock #rC_E to always use the current time when initializing the clock? I created a counter to tell how many days until Christmas. But it always uses the predefined “now” time that I have in the html instead of the real current time. I’m referring specifically to these lines of code:
$(’#rC_E’).redCountdown({ end: ‘1451001600’, now: ‘1444775652’,
Hey,
Just don;t pass “now” parameter. If now is empty it takes $.now() value. Or pass $.now() as now – same result
Best, Boom-Apps Team
I wrote it as:
now: ’’,
but it’s now showing 16793 days until Christmas. When I remove it or write $.now() the counter doesn’t work. I really hate sounding like a noob but maybe I have the syntax wrong.
JQuery “unix timestamp” is in miliseconds, not seconds
Just add “000” to your “end”, so end: ‘1451001600000’.
Thank you!!!
You welcome. Please don’t forget to rate
