Hi,
When configuring WHMpress and adding the database details, I would like to use a db user / password created for WHMpress only, not the one WHMCS is using which I already did.
Now, what kind of privileges does WHMpress and WHMCS Client Area really need in order to work properly? I would like to minimise the privileges that are not in use. Can you please specify the ones I need to check only? http://dns.d.pr/1Ntu/3M5pfoe2
Thank you
WHMpress need to copy tables for cache purpose into WP. It does not require any kind of write/modify permissions.
Thank you. I am not a developer, can you please confirm if this looks ok? http://dns.d.pr/JHPP/afL066ii Can I disable anything else or do I need to enable more?
Hi, Your ticket in this regard was replied.
Hi, These permissions should be enough.
hey guys, are users able to change the nameservers and enter redirects? It’s not enabled in the demo.
Thanks, Daniel

Hello, thanks for fast answer!
When do you bring the update for register sync? We need it because we have everyday new customers… If the register now, nothing happens and we deactivate now the register function.
Dear ZoXx, I did not get your point. It will be easy to understand if you can point us to URL.You can share any private information on http://support.whmpress.com
Hello, i only want to know when you will release Version 3.0. We use the newest Version but it is not possible that a new customer after registration can login. No data will be sync from new customer to whmcs. If i registry customer manually in Backend then he gets acces.
???
Hello ZoXx,
There is no sync needed for functions related to client Area. Please open a ticket on support.whmpress.com and we look right into it.
How can I renew the purchase ID. I have installed it on the test domain and moving to the live domain. It stopped working a when I try to register it it tells me it is already register.
If you have access to old installation, you can un-register it from there using WHMpress > settings > registration “un-register WHMpress” and then register from new location.
If you have lost access to previously installed location, please open ticket on http://support.whmpress.com and we will un-register previous location.
I’m interested in this, but I have a specific use. I don’t need much, simply a way to pull in the number of items in the WHMCS cart and also if a user is logged into WHMCS or not. Can your plugin do this?
For the functions you asked specifically, the plugin that you will need to buy for this is “WHMCS Client Area – Standalone” http://codecanyon.net/item/whmcs-client-area-standalone/12488808
It will do what you need with help of WHMpress helper. Helper is a WHMCS addon that is packaged with WHMCS ClientArea.
If you want to use other functions too, i will recommend going for 1) WHMpress & 2) WHMCS Client Area Addon from links below.
http://codecanyon.net/item/whmpress-whmcs-wordpress-integration-plugin-/9946066 http://codecanyon.net/item/whmcs-client-area-whmpress-addon/11218646Client area is not working in any of your demo sites. We use total, does this mean that if it doesn’t work w/total VC, you will add it in the next upgrade? We already have a client area, so until I see it, not sure if we would use it, however I am assuming this allows the data in wordpress to be dynamic, ie. for pricing/packages, is this correct?
Hello,
Our main demo area is here. http://demo.whmpress.com/basic
Thanks for reporting about theme specific demos. We will look into it. Please also note that theme specific demos are not very actively maintained as they are on different WP installations.
Hi,
Theme specific demos have been fixed.
thank you. We use total, does this mean that if it doesn’t work w/total VC, you will add it in the next upgrade? We already have a client area, so until I see it, not sure if we would use it, however I am assuming this allows the data in wordpress to be dynamic, ie. for pricing/packages, is this correct?
Hi,
1. It supports Visual Composer listed here. http://codecanyon.net/item/visual-composer-page-builder-for-wordpress/242431?s_rank=1
2. We add matching component for a theme if we get more than 3 requests for it.
3. Yes, it is dynamic for client area.
4. for WHMpress itself, it caches the data from WHMCS to WP and then use it from there. It gives native WP performance that way.
There no plugin inside the zip file
There are two zip files that you can download.
1. WHMpress-full-package-v.xx.zip 2. whmpress-v.xx.zip
If you have downloaded the full package (1), extract it on your PC, it contains the plugin zip file along with readme.
If your have download Plugin file only i.e. (2), you can upload it directly in WP.
When I try to sync i’m getting this message: Unable to connect with WHMCS server: Access denied for user ‘admin’@’localhost’ (using password: YES)
For Sync information, please use info from configurations.php file in WHMCS root folder.
Ok I was success but how do I get Domain search to stay on the same page without redirecting to WHMCS basic page. Try it on my test page https://5dshost.com/test-2
So i downloaded Client Area Plugin and I just getting this error: This webpage has a redirect loop. Try it https://5dshost.com/customer/?whmpca=clientarea
Please open ticket on http://support.whmpress.com
I have been trying to create a support ticket for this on your website, but its not working: I am currently building my website on a sub domain. When I am done, I would move it to the main domain. I currently have WHMPress installed on my main domain, but I would like to use it on my sub domain. Can I just install it and it would work? Or there’s something I would need to do in order to use it on the two domains? Kindly answer asap. Thanks.
Hello Stephen, Yes you can install on sub domain and it should work.
I am still trying to create a ticket on your website, but its not working. Please have it looked at as it is the only way we have to obtain assistance from you. I have sent emails to a member of your team complaining that the combo box on my pricing tables is not working, and yet I have received no response. What is going on??
Hello Stephen, Some times tickets and emails take as long as one working day. Your email has been replied.
Day 3/2/2016 was opened the ticket #8117. Where was constactado the WHMpress plugin error with database synchronization with UTF8, the same sync with invalid characters. Today completes 15 days of opening of the ticket, just was told that was going to be solved, and nothing was done. Now I was making an attempt to access the ticket and my account was deleted from the ticket system support?
Hello,
Our apologies for delays on it. Your ticket no. is 8083. The issue you are facing is specific to your installation. I will make sure to set times with our team lead to get this solved today. Your account exists and is intact. I have replied your ticket with my Skype id.
I don’t think it’s something so specific, because only I use the database in UTF8, as a pattern of WHMCS. Your plugin does not synchronize the data correctly when using UTF8. Note: Today I was able to access my account on the ticket again open day March 2, 6:07 am 2016, where FTP information was requested on the ticket, and was sent, so far no solution has been taken!
It has been fixed details in ticket.
Does this plugin sync user registration?
Current version does not. V.3 will have it and will provide single signon (SSO). V.3 is releasing within month.
I need the ability to provide customers purchase and product management access using WHMCS for NameCheap’s SSL reseller program. Will WHMPress enable me to do this? NameCheap has a WHMCS plugin for SSL certs. So would I need to get the Name Cheap WHMCS Plugin configured as NameCheap directs…https://code.google.com/archive/p/namecheap/wikis/NamcheapWHMCSSSLModule.wiki and then build my SSL Products & Pricing in WHMPress?
Hello, WHMpress will bring the functions of WHMCS to WP, it will not add functionality or change business procedures of WHMCS.
You will configure WHMCS + Plugin for SSL within WHMCS. Once done, WHMpress + Client Area Addon will help you bring its Order Process to WP and Bring products to WP for display purposes with shortcodes.
Hello! After update i not found the search log! You have delete that?
ok sorry i found it!
Does your plugin help customers create pages using templates of their current themes?
I am not clear about your question. Are you referring to your hosting customers or your self?
Thanks,
Hi, I am referring to your customers / end users! Does your plugin allow us to style our WHCMS shop front and client areas to our current wordpress layouts?
Yes it does.
Fantastic, thank you
Will purchase and attempt setup now!
Ok so purchased, installed & synced. Attempted all style settings and can’t figure out how your plugin styles the whcms page to match my theme! Please help me get this set.
Thank you
Hello,
Can you please open a ticket at http://support.whmpress.com. Please include Debug info from WHMCS > Client Area > Debug Info > Generate Debug Info.
Would appreciate if you could help me understand if your plugin will meet my needs:
1. I have an existing woocommerce site
2. When a user signs up on my woocommerce site, I want to automatically provide a hosting package to him (free)
3. The user should then be able to setup domains, create ftp user, create mysql database, etc. through the wordpress interface only
Will your plugin be sufficient for all of this?
Thanks!
Hi,
Thanks for your interest.
WHMpress needs WHMCS to work. The solution is designed to fill the gaps between WHMCS and WP.
PRESALES CONCERN: Does this support all cctlds?
That does not appear to be the case from the demo that you have.
I am a starting a web hosting outfit that will be serving the East African Community, and looking to purposely sell cctlds for Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania. Searching for any domain using these cctlds returns a domain not found message…. eg gfggfhgfkikshs.co.ke, gfgaytyrtreood.co.tz, etc.
Kindly advise. Can I use this to sell cctlds in East Africa?
Thanks, In settings you can add cctlds of your choice, you need whois server and a match string (a string that is unique to who-is out when domain is not found)
Hello, I am experiencing an issue with how the CSS works with the client area plugin that I purchased with WHMPress, it seems the CSS rules are duplicated creating another page within the page WHMPress places the client area essentially. It seems the documentation doesn’t cover this sort of issue. I have opened a ticket as well (#8377) please help =)
Hello, Your ticket has been replied.
Hi,
I have tried to understand the different between WHMCS Bridge and the Client Area version but I am not sure if I understand what are the major differences and if one depends from another?
Is there clear documentation / video that shows exactly what we can do with one and another?
Many thanks.
Hello,
Both plugins (WHMCS Bridge & Client Area) do not depend on each other and are competing products. http://docs.whmpress.com/whmcs-client-area/difference-whmpress-whmcs-bridge/
When it comes to Client Area, there are two versions.
1. WHMCS Client Area (StandAlone) it does not have any dependency
2. WHMCS Client Area – WHMpress Addon, It requires WHMPress.
Hmmm… finally
I thought they were the same but, let me reformulate my question…
What is the difference between WHMPRESS and the client area add-on? I don’t have any, does it make sense to by WHMpress + the client addon or simply the standalone version?
I’m sorry but this is very confusing for me to understand the major differences.
You got things right, Client Area Standalone and Addon are pretty much same things except for following.
1. Addon is cheaper in price. 2. Addon does not require any additional configurations 3. Addon needs WHMpress to run, so there is a need for Standalone for persons who do not need WHMpress itself.
Ok, I think I am getting my head around it.
So… what I am looking for is to have WHMCS with a different look from multiple websites. I believe this is the Client Area that I am looking, right? Can this plugin be integrated in 3 different Wordpress website (each one with its own design) and 1 single WHMCS installation?
As for WHMpress, what is is really needed for? To “import” the shortcodes such as plans, prices, etc? Or is there any other major advantages?
Thank you
Yes, it can connect with 3 different WP with a single WHMCS. Each WP+client area having its own design.
WHMpress will help you easily manage pricing tables, prices, order buttons and link to to WHMCS. Like when you update prices and WHMCS you do not have to find all prices in WP and change them by hand. Plus there are some other advantages also. Please read product description in detail.
is there an option for prettylinks in popup. there is a prettylinks option but it does work on popups e.g if you view an email from clientarea.
Hi,
Pretty permalinks are mostly focused on area’s that are public for SEO reasons.
Hello, i bought the plugin. In documentation you wirte i have to upload: -sixwhmpress and - orderforms
Orderforms does not exist in download zip. COuld you please upload the orderforms that we can design our theme finally?
Hello, Since with WHMCS 6.x many good order form templates are being shipped, we are not including order forms template only more. You can use recommended “Standard Cart” for cart template.
Our clientarea loads very very slow. You know what we can change? Wordpress runs perfectly. Same as WHMCS self. WHMCS and Wordpress are on the same server.
Hello ZoXx,
Our demo site http://demo.whmpress.com/basic/short-codes/whmcs/client-area/ is installed with WP and WHMCS on different servers.
If your speed is slower than what we have on demo please open a ticket with us. Also include debug info from “WHMpress > Client Area > Debug (tab) > Generate Debug Info.
Also try enabling cache in WHMpress > Client Area > Advanced (tab)
