Does the knowledge base plugin offer a way to have the article/document “table of contents” displayed thru a widget or other method?
At the moment, you can use the shortcode of the plugin to insert into the widget and put in your sidebar, or everywhere in your site. However, the plugin does not support the style when you put in the sidebar. In your case, you can send me your site, I will check and help you change the style to compatible with your site.
Hello,
I just purchased your plugin. It’s a great plugin. However, I would like to show the sub-categories once the user click’s on the top-level category. Can you please assist me on how I can display the sub-categories of top level categories?
At the moment, the plugin does not yet support to display the sub-categories.
Will this be available in the future release..? This is a very important feature for us.
I sent and notified our technical team about this problem. We will discuss it.
thanks let me know if there are any updates. Sub-category will be great to show….Also, how do I control the description limit for sub-categories? I can adjust the parent category description limit, but how can I do it for sub-categories?
I have a presale question.
I like your free plugin that is offered in wp repository, and would like to use it further using the PRO version. However, I’m encountering two issues with the free one
1. The page that I want to select for index (from dropdown in the Settings) is not shown. What am I missing, or how do I make it so a particular page shows in the index dropdown select page from Settings.
2. I have an jquery conflict (I think). The error shows as “Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘length’ of undefined”.
/wp-content/plugins/dw-knowledge-base/assets/js/script.js
script.js:16
Will the pro version overcome these issues? or what should I do prior to purchase your pro version? Please advise as I need to get it asap.
Thanks.
I have checked on our demo with the Pro version and it still working fine, you can send me username & password of your site for further checking. We will check and help you resolve the issues.
Hello, I registered for support, but the page throws a 500 error when I’m trying to submit a question. Can you please help me with Nginx configuration? Permalinks are different with this webserver, and I think that’s why none of my articles are displaying. Also, the options panel is much different in my version than what’s described in the docs. Thanks for your help!
Please go to the https://www.designwall.com/question/ and create a private question then send me username & password of your site for further checking.
Done. I don’t know that you’l need admin access since you won’t have access to nginx.conf in the backend.
Apologies, my friend. There are confusion and a routine with the WordPress theme when request you send username & password of your site
.
Awesome! Congratulation!
Thank you!
KB categories and articles are created from wordpress categories and posts?
2. Can you provide admin demo?
3. In the article view, you should move Search Bar and Breadcrumb above Article Title (so the article title and article content are toghether, more clear)

1, KB Categories and articles are created from WordPress, but under custom post types.
2, Admin Demo: please send us your email so we will provide a single account for logging in.
3, Thanks for the suggestion, we will improve it on next version.
Congratulations!
Thanks mate
how easy is it to upgrade from the free version, do you just copy over the free one?
Yes, you just copy over the free version.
hi looks great, can you add images to the articles so users can see screenshots?
also if they comment on an article does the admin receive notification email and also the user receive one if admin reply to their comment?
Yes, this feature is available.
I already installed a free version on WP.org. Is this different with this PRO version?
Pro version comes with a lot premium features:
1. We’ve update 7 new index layouts and 2 archive layouts which should be work well with your existing WordPress theme.
2. Category thumbnail has been added in this PRO version to bring more emotions from your guest.
3. The voting feature in single article has been improved which is not exist at Free version.
4. All elements can be hide or show via Plugin Setting.
