Yes it is compatible with latest wordpress. It has not been tested with that theme. However, the plugin works with every theme that is probably coded.

Hi Scopes, I’m having problems with catalogue visibility box in edit product page: after the installation of you plugin it doesn’t take any modify and set the visibility of product (as in catalogue as in search) hidden by default.
I can only modify visibility on quick edit but is not the right way becouse everytime I edit a product it comes again on hidden mode.
Can you please help me? If I will not resolve this problem I will have to ask for a refound: is not what I really want because I love your plugin and it does whatI need except for this issue that compromise all the shop.

There is a settings on the gift card settings page to set the catalogue visibility to visible and not hidden. When you change this settings, you will need to update your gift products.

Is the gift card product marked as complete?
That did it. Marking the order as Complete immediately sent the email. Thank you for your assistance.

First of all, I will strongly suggest you install an email log plugin on your wordpress website to see emails that are sent.
I installed Email Log Plugin. It throws me back that the email was sent to the receipt, but the receipt doesn’t actually receive anything. It’s a Gmail account. What should I do?
I bought a gift and sent it to a hotmail receipt, but still the receipt doesn’t receive anything, in spite of the Email Log registering that the email was sent. Do you mean that I should change my WordPress mail? What’s your suggestion about its domain?

Hi scopes, I have an another query. What happens when someone uses the gift card /coupon code to buy something with a value less than that of the coupon? Does the value of the gift card decrease by the value of the purchase so that there’s still some value in the coupon code?

Hi there, I am looking for a voucher solution whereby people can come onto my site, buy a gift voucher, be taken to Paypal to checkout, then get sent the voucher confirmation (the recipient should get the voucher). The holder of the voucher will then come into my offline store to redeem their voucher. I then want to be able to deduct however much they use off the voucher in my admin panel so that I can then see their balance e.g. They buy a voucher for $100, they buy an activity for $50, I deduct the 50 and can still see that their voucher code has $50 against it. Does this do that? My site doesn’t have a user login area or any ecommerce abilities as we’re using an external booking engine, thanks

I think I found the issue which is with the custom price function:
1) When the custom price is activated, the menu basket doesn’t show the product price or total. If uncheck the custom price, it works just fine.
UPDATE: The issue was this code ”<style type=”text/css”>span.amount{display:none;}</style>” in the gift_cart() function. I removed it and now it works.
However, when the custom price is actiacted, the amount added to the cart is 50 no matter what I enter. This is obviously an issue as well.
Please get back to you ASAP

It seems like the price being added now is correct, however, the menu-basket show 50 USD no matter what.
How can I fix that?

we’re having a problem where none of the product categories are displaying in the ‘product categories’ unless they have products in them. this would be fine, but..
whenever we now add a product it saves as ‘hidden’ in the ‘catalog visibility’ section at the top right. when we change the dropdown to ‘search/catalog’ and update, upon the refresh it returns to ‘hidden’. this problem is resolved and everything works fine when this ‘gift card’ plugin is deactivated… however we have paid for, and we need, this plugin. any thoughts?
