When I add a location, I see the Google Map. But after saving, the location doesn’t store automatically. The lat/long haven’t changed in the db and the map position remains default. Is the lat/long supposed to be updated automatically based off of the address provided?

Example: you have set a location for a city. Denver for example. When someone try to add a store from Denver, he does not have to find the country US then try to find where the city is. Because Google maps pin will be set automatically in Denver.
The store address should be set manually by you or store owner.
No, it can’t be set automatically from a given address.

Please register on: https://developer.paypal.com/When you got your own API key and Client ID copy them to Settings -> API / External Accounts
To test your system you can use PayPal’s Test account, as you can see on http://hostingcuts.com/admin (admin@couponscms.com password: admin) and go to Settings -> API / External Accounts
On internet are thousands of tutorials, “who to create a paypal api account” it’s just an example and you will find all you need.
Stripe addon can be found here:

I was wondering if there was a way to randomize the coupons in the main section of the index page. When I added them they are grouped together and I’d rather have them random like on the side section. If someone comes to the site, them might think I only have coupons for the one store.
I have installed everything without a problem. It’s fantastic so far. I did install the plugin for the popup and it does not work. Do I need to place code somewhere else? I have no idea what the choices look like in the drop downs as I can not see popups at all. I have used 3 different computers for testing. No popup. I look forward to your response.

After your last update you say that the printed coupons features is available, but in demo i can only see promo codes or links, is there any way where I can see those updates?

This is an example of a link provided by cj.com, basicaly when an user clicks on this link, the link with be automaticaly replaced with information like what user is and what is the type of his action.
For example: http://www.jdoqocy.com/click-7795032-11316171-1362711231000?sid=type=product,id=22,user=1When the user purchase you will see all information at SID parameter and you will know that USER with ID: 1 purchased A PRODUCT (see type) with ID 22.
It should be simple, more than that. With cj.com api plugin all links are imported automaticaly in this form, so them can be tracked.
About rewarding system.
Exactly that’s why it uses points and not money, because some people want to give gifts and other people want to give money. In this case they both will be happy.
In you case, you can give points, let’s say 100 points = $1. When an user gain 900 points can request $9.
About modifying the script, after they paid for the script. I can’t stop people to modify it or do anything they want. But with a compromise, their script can’t accept future updates.

Hi Daniel, I have created both api keys but both are showing errors.
when clicking on facebook login it’s saying “Given URL is not permitted by the Application configuration: One or more of the given URLs is not permitted by the App’s settings. It must match the Website URL or Canvas URL, or the domain must be a subdomain of one of the App’s domains.” I have put same domain where script is installed
and when clicking on google login it’s prompting to google login but after login it’s showing ” 400. That’s an error.

There is not a word ‘blabla’ in the script.
Please check if you wrote that in Settings -> Meta Tags
In Coupons CMS you can personalize meta tags for each coupon/product/store/page or you can personalize all in the same time with shortcodes.

Because your server is offline, on localhost, please create a database and user for that database.
Upload CouponsCMS on your localhost and then open the address in a browser, you will see an installation form. You don’t need to do something else but complete that form.

So far it’s good, but I have an issue with the .html extension as they are not at all SEO friendly. I tried using rewritting script in .htaccess file but so far no luck. Can you help me pinpoint the function where these .html links are generated. I have programming experience but its not in this domain. I would not recommend to anyone to modify the script (core), because the script can’t be upgraded. Or upgrades will replace your modifications.
If you really want to modify it, you did it good by removing the extension from .htaccess file.
But you have to do one more thing, open file utils.php from /includes/site and find method “make_seo_link” (it is on line 80) and remove also .html extension.

Well, if you change that too.
Edit your htaccess file and add this like:
RewriteRule ^([a-zA-Z0-9-])/([a-zA-Z0-9-])$ index.php?$1=$2 [QSA,L]
right after:
RewriteRule ^([a-zA-Z0-9-_]+)/$ index.php?$1 [QSA,L]
Then go to includes/functions/functions_global.php find this method: “tlink()” and remove extension “html”.
Thats all, you don’t need to do it. Only if you like so.
To add the slider, install the addon first.
Then copy this line:
echo \plugin\Slider\slider::show();
If PHP tag is not opened write it as:
<?php echo \plugin\Slider\slider::show(); ?>
Where to place this line? You can do it via admin panel -> Themes -> Theme editor. Or go to content/themes/Default.
Which file ? to place it on index, well put it on index.php or site_header.php and it will be available on all pages, just like on http://hostingcuts.com

Means that, here will fetch all active coupons and of course, not hidden.
Order by “date desc” means that all items (coupons, products) will be ordered by date descending.

On line 119 you can find this:

And then you will see only coupons with the same tags. Relevant coupons or what you need to do.
If you don’t know where is line 119, it is exactly after “See other coupons:”.

I have a problem with locations: I added 2 countries (Italy and France) and several states.
When I select a country (admin panel), the second select doesn’t change with the correct states (in your demo they seem to be chained, which is good!).
I’m having the same problem in the front-end
I tried truncating the tables and doing it from scratch, but no luck
I don’t see the map below either, for choosing lat/long.
Any idea??

Please make sure that you have at least one city in each state.
On hostingcuts.com I used the last version, the one which you have. It should work.
Please go to Settings -> API / External accounts and add you Google maps api key. Then you will be able to see google Maps.

Hi Shady! quick question: I have many users/store-owners and I want them to access the admin panel to add coupons and to edit their own store details. I tried using a sub-administrator profile (onliy with coupon and store edit privileges) but they can see ALL coupons and ALL stores, not their own only. How can I achieve this? Sorry, but I tried on all major browsers, including Edge and Opera. I don’t know what is the problem with your browser, probably not all js files has been loaded and that’s why it didn’t work.
