Hi, i bought the plugging! very nice!! Look, i need translate some word to spanish, like VIEW PROPERTY (In google map box) and MORE in list property button. 2) I don’t know how show a marker in google map, now i see a picture box floating in google map, with no icon to mark in map where the property is. Is there any way to show a single property map with no latitude/altitud? just with adress number? thanks!
Hi There,
You will need to use the po file found in the victheme_property/translation folder and use tools such as poedit to translate them, or use plugins such WPML to translate.
You can insert icon image in the property type settings and each types need image uploaded to it.
About the address, I believe if you leave the lat and long empty the map field will try to fallback to the field address automatically.

Hello. I need help to solve some things as soon as possible.
1. I am using Visual Composer. I set the property page, and view it, but the property description doesn’t appear. How can I insert the property description in the property page with the VC?
2. How to increase the font size of the details of the properties (attributes and fields) with the VC? Also, how can I remove the italic style?
3. How to change the color of the colored bar where the icon appears or even remove it with the VC?

Q: can i use this plugging with whatever wp themes? A: We don’t guarantee that it will work with every theme, but in most cases you probably will need to adjust css (if the theme is not bootstrap compatible) and may need to create archive-property.php and single-property.php
Q: can i translate to spanish? A: Plugin provides with po file and all fields can be configured via GUI, we also recommend to use WPML whenever possible for multilingual site
Q: can i show in my homepage a search box to searching properties? A: The property search box is available as widget, shortcode and visual composer shortcode integration, so if you can use widget and / or shortcode then yes.
Q: can i show my picture in full size or biggest than show the gallery classic size? A: Technically you can by overriding the property single template content grids and play around with configuration. but not out of the box.

The VT Maps is already included in the property plugin and when enabled it will integrate with it.
If you don’t have the Maps zip file, you must download the “complete package” of the property plugin. inside the property plugin complete zip you can find the victheme_maps.zip which contain the maps plugin.

I have a few questions about your plugin. I’d like to use it for holidays rental, bt without booking system. The idea is to let people search for holiday spots, and display the result of their search (a post containing the detail of the holiday). Do you think I could use your plugin to perform the search? Here’s wht I need to know:
- Can it handle custom fields having subs-categories ? For example, I have s custom field called “destination”, it contains countries. And it has sub-categories that are the regions inside the countries. Can your plugin perform searches though these categories or subcategories ? I’d like to have a dropdown list containing the countries and also the regions, and depending on the user choice, the search engine has to look for either posts of a given country, or posts of a given region.
See what I mean? Is it possible?
- Is it possible to have mandatory field for the search ? In my case, the mandatory field would be the “country / region” field.
- Another example of what I need to do: I have a field called “number max of people”. I need a search box asking the user to tell how many people will be there, and how many children. So search engine will have to add the adults and the children, and only display the results of the posts having “number max of people” greater than the sum of adults + children.
Is it possible?
- Is it possible to display a specific message to the user if he chooses a certain value for a given field? For example, let’s say that the user chooses he want to come with 2 babies, then above the results page, I’d like to display something like: “please contact the owner to tell him that you have 2 babies”. Is it possible ?
- Is it possible to choose the number of results per page?
- Is it possible to display a message if the number of resulting posts is above a given amount? For example, if the user performs a search and there are 350 resulting posts found in the database, then I want to display something like: “please add some search criteria to narrow your search”. Is it possible?
- I don’t want to display dynamic results. I want the results to appear ONLY after the click on the search button. Is it possible?
- What is the url of the result page? Is it something like www.mydomain.com/result?region=corse&adults=2&activity=tennis ? I saw on your demo site that it looked like a json url… Can it be changed?
- Is it possible to display the results depending on a certain field ? For example, display the results sorted by country, and then region?

Q: Can it handle custom fields having subs-categories A: The location field is a “taxonomy” that can have unlimited children, it uses Hierarchical select form field which will drill down to the children via ajax. It can’t however display all the parent -> children in a single select dropdown,
Q: Is it possible to have mandatory field for the search ? A: we have 3 different search widget (and shortcodes) all can have mandatory fields, advanced search can have different search form field for different property types. the split search can have advanced (hidden) and exposed search field.
Q: I have a field called “number max of people” A: Technically it is possible using custom field (must be coded not included in default plugin), the default plugin only can do exact search eg user enter 1, plugin search for value 1. max and min like price field must be coded manually.

Q: What is the url of the result page? A: The search form use POST so url wont change, but all attributes and field is taxonomy so it will honor standard wordpress taxonomy url filtering
Q: Is it possible to display the results depending on a certain field A: you can use taxonomy slug as url to filter by url, for 2 taxonomy filtering, may need to use ?property_xxxxxx=value&property_xxxxx=anothervalue the xxx for attributes is random generated string so it might not be user friendly.

Is there a way to add another slug before properties single pages URLs and also change the ”/property” slug to spanish?
I installed the plugin on an spanish website and the URLs should have ”/inmobiliaria/propiedades” slugs before the property name.
How it looks now: .../property/luxury-view-villa-available/ How it should look: .../inmobiliaria/propiedades/luxury-view-villa-available/

Sorry there are no radius search features at this moment. the maps search widget is included in the property plugin packs and it uses shortcodes / widget to build the element, so if your theme has dynamic sidebar or able to print out shortcodes, it should be able to integrate.
