If you mean the categories on the homepage, then yes, you can disable trailers from dashboard.

I am interested in buying it, but I am also having some questions… especially about the search function:
I was reading the comments here and you wrote searching for actors is working?
in the demo, when I search e.g. for “Daniel Craig”, nothing is shown in the preview… only when I click on search I see his actors page. would be great to already see at least some of his movies or his actor page in the preview window?
another thing i noticed: when I search for “James Bond” I see a lot of titles in the preview but not one of it is a real James Bond movie, very annoying. Again, only when I click on the search button I am getting to the real James Bond movies.
If I look for “Batman” it doesnt even find e.g. “The Dark Knight” after clicking on search… I know from other movie sites that such relation-search is working very well… and I think its a very important function for a movie site, because you don’t always know the exact name of movie, only some part of the title or the actor etc. 
have you planned any updates on the search functionalities?

Hi,
The search used for suggestions is a simple one, it will take what you type and simply match it against movie/series titles. If you want relation, actor, plot etc search you will need to click enter or search icon to go to actual search page. It works this way for performance reasons. We’ve no plans to change it currently.

Hi again Vebto. Is this a bug with pagination? If you go to http://mtdb.info/movies > Pick a Genre > Click Next > Remove the genre. Now try to click next again.

There seems to be a small issue indeed, we’ll correct it for the next update. Clicking on page numbers or reloading the page should still work properly though.
Thanks. Fixing bugs is more important than adding new stuff to the script in my opnion. I found another issue with the order of which the watchlist/favorites are added in profiles. When you watchlist or favorite 3 movies they are ordered correct but when you watchlist or favorite a fourth one that’s when the order starts to mess up.

Pre sales query: As i read in some of your older responses Automatic Trailer will not work if Streaming plugin is enabled!!! is it still the same. It would be great if automatic trailer import could work with Streaming plugin. If still not then how can it be possible?? Can’t think if placing trailer links manual to thousands of movies. Thanks

Automatic trailer importing works with streaming plugin as well. The big image with play button is just replace with streaming links table when streaming plugin is installed.

Trailer is fetched automatically always, there’s no need to enable anything with streaming plugin enabled or without.

Wow, this is awesome. So I really like the news section and will be using that a lot, but I noticed the URL has a lot of unnecessary characters. http://i.imgur.com/mmLnJDO.png It should only do hyphens. So no commas, parenthesis, colons or single quotes etc. Can this be fixed?

I just noticed that if I click one of the links in the sidebar “Recent News” that it fixes it? But when you click one of the links from http://mtdb.info/news it adds the unnecessary characters in the URL.
Yes, new links are slugified when clicking on them from sidebar.
Im having issues with the IMDB import. I did a year select from 1900 onwards. and selected 1000000 movies, however it timed out after a few minutes and only captured around 36 pages in one go. Now I want to get all the other pages, how do I ensure that they dont end up duplicating ?
