Hi—

Can you tell me a few more things about this:

- Where does the form validation occur? Client side? Server side? both?
- Can I insert my own code for validation?
- Are all the forms stored in mysql?

Thank you!

Hi

1. Form validation occurs primarily on server side

2. There is currently no support for custom validation

3. All forms are stored in mySql

4. There hasn’t been a large scale effort to address responsive-support for all forms, but some of the new templates support it to a degree. The css for your forms is fully templateable as designed so you can add your own css styles by just throwing it in a folder, then selecting it from the drop down at design-time

5. Yes, the extended license allows you to deploy to your client’s server

thank you! What about the data that’s entered into a form? Is that saved to MySQL as well? How is it stored? Is each form field stored in a separate database field?

The relational model has a relationship that maps the data entered to the field which it was entered in.

Hi,

Please answer these Presale Questions before we finalise.

We want to create a Online Registration Page.

1. Do you have <Admin Page< (To check EACH submitted forms for print & download) if not, Can you customize Admin for us? And customization charges?

2. Option to upload files. (JPG…. to incude photograph for print in the form)

e.g:. – Siblings (5 points)
– 5 km (10 points)
– 15 km (6 points)
...etc.

4. < Sequence Form Number:< Can it Generate auto Sequence Numerical Code (FN.:001) for each user/form.

5. USER is able to PRINT the Submitted form in A4 paper after submission. ( if not, Can you customize for us? )

6. Admin is able to *Search, View, Print & Download (Individual Listing), as well all listing in CSV & PDF Format from Admin pannel

7. User IP cannot generate more submission once Submitted.

8. Form Should able to print in A4 Size paper with photograph from Admin page

Please Answer pointwise would be helpful. thanks

Hi, I’m a bit unclear as to your vision. Can you clarify? I suggest discussing this over email (you can email me from the product or author page) 1. I have a view entries page that you can integrate into an administration panel 2. There is an option to upload files from a range of extensions of your choice 3. There is no calculation functionality at the moment 4. All forms created have an autogenerated ID in the database 5. There is currently an “export form submissions to excel” functionality. Print functionality hasn’t been well configured. 6. Search for forms functionality is not available 7. One time submission per IP is not supported 8. See No. 5

For customization quotes etc. please send me an email

Hi, i just purchased the multistep builder and uploaded to my site but when i try to access it i get the following error message:

Strict Standards: date(): It is not safe to rely on the system’s timezone settings. You are required to use the date.timezone setting or the date_default_timezone_set() function. In case you used any of those methods and you are still getting this warning, you most likely misspelled the timezone identifier. We selected ‘America/New_York’ for ‘EDT/-4.0/DST’ instead in /homepages/23/d644149546/htdocs/medicareplanforme/htdocs/lib/forms-form-repository.php on line 86

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /homepages/23/d644149546/htdocs/medicareplanforme/htdocs/lib/forms-form-repository.php:86) in /homepages/23/d644149546/htdocs/medicareplanforme/htdocs/lib/forms-create.php on line 15

You can check it out at: http://medicareplanforme.com/htdocs/

According to the phpinfo.php my timezone is set to America/New York.

Please let me know how to fix this.

Thank you.

My purchase code is: 47926b06-38fd-4db7-bf39-87a4b27c39f3

Fixed it, my hosting provider needed to update the timezone on my php. all is good now.

ok. let me know if you run into any other issues.

Quick question -

I’m curious if I can add pre-built fields like serial number, department code, building id, etc to the advanced section making it easier to build specific forms instead of having the user drag over a text box and rename it

Is it difficult to add items like that and even add a new section to the fields accordion?

-Jon

-Jon

You would need intermediate to advanced knowledge of PHP and Javascript programming to do this.

perfect, thanks!

Is it support nested fields ? Is it possible to associate event in a field. For example, if i want to define onclick event in a select box option in form builder

Pre Sale Question, 1. How you are passing the details of the form to backend, is it json? 2. Can you share your database structure once i purchase 3. Is it support php frameworks like laravel.

Form details are sent to the server via Ajax, partly in JSON format and partly in a key value pair post. Once you purchase, you will have all source code including the DB structure. I have not used Laravel, so I can’t tell you what it will take to integrate, but with intermediate to advanced knowledge of PHP development I’m sure it shouldn’t be too much of a challenge.

Can I upload this script to my server with normal server that i have hosted or do i need .Net as well?

Hosting Package UNLIMITED_NEW Server Name server18 cPanel Version 56.0 (build 24) Theme paper_lantern Apache Version 2.4.17 PHP Version unknown MySQL Version 5.5.50-cll Architecture x86_64 Operating System linux Shared IP Address 43.242.215.197 Path to Sendmail /usr/sbin/sendmail Path to Perl /usr/bin/perl Perl Version 5.10.1 Kernel Version 2.6.32-604.30.3.lve1.3.63.el6.x86_64

responses will be stored to my DB??

yes, responses will be stored in the DB. (sorry for the late response, didn’t get a notification about yours). The only thing that concerns me is that you have a PHP version of unknown. You need a PHP version of at least 5.4.23 to run the script.

1. I believe all purchases involve a one time only payment

2. I don’t know about the Yii framework and how it works so I can’t tell you what’s involved

3. There currently isn’t functionality to allow you to save the html of your forms to a Mysql database. All source code is provided with the purchase so you can customize it if needed.

Thanks for your help.I will be purchase ASAP as i needed.

Hi, I recently purchased your script, right now I’m working on it. I like this form builder but some issues need to fix.

After putting embed code in my html page http://tnit.me/lp16/04/platinumgig-healthcare/

1. I’m not received any email notification after filling this form. (I provided my gmail id in form settings).

2. Form fileds takes more space, Is possible to adjust the sizes?

3. How to change the font color, size (bold) on form headings and other form filed texts. 4. In header part takes too much empty space. Let me know how to remove this?

Thanks, Raj

Okay, It works. Similarly how to reduse the text box and other fields width?. Because it takes more width in the forms. I want entire form width maximum 350 px.

Thanks, Raj

I adjusted the text box sizes, but cant reduse width of dropdown box. Please check the screenshot http://prnt.sc/aztezy Sorry too many questions.

I find out. No issues. Thanks

Hi,

does this product integrate into an existing web application (PHP/MySQL). We have an application where I would like customers to develop their own checklists for auditing. I need to link a couple of the key fields to an existing database table. Is this something that would require customisation? Looking forward to your response.

Kind regards Andrew

The data binding currently integrated into the product is for the list fields (ie. drop down list and multi-select list boxes). Those fields can be bound to an xml dictionary with key value pairs (there are a few examples when you purchase the product eg. timezones, countries and languages ).

So if you have a dataset of checklists, you would fetch it from your database and serialize it to xml so you can bind it to the list fields.

Hi, I recently uploaded this script in my server. But it gives error please check http://tnit.me/bform

Please let me know how to install correctly?

Thanks, Raj

Looks good to me. Are you still having problems?

Hi,

Pre Sales Questions: 1. Is possible to create customer registration form and getting details in email? 2. Can I create multi step form and use embeed code in more than one website?

Thanks, Raj

hello – would you pls answer my question? i am a bit confused. do you offer a complete php script, or do you provide just a link to your server where the generated form will be hosted? (embedded???) how much is it to get this php script in a mvc framework like yii, codeigniter, laravel or so?

hi there, you get all the code used to create the control when you purchase this product. We can discuss any custom work required to integrate the control into a 3rd party MVC framework over email.

Hi, I would need a different approach of your script, that (almost) fit my project needs like the way it is right now. However, I do need some customization… Can I send you an email with my “vision” before purchase the script?

Thanks a lot!

Sure. Visit my author profile page and send me a message from there to discuss your requirements.

3. i tried to attach a Word document but it returned error. format not included. kindly assist with that too. Generally i would say you have a great product here.

Your question wasn’t clear. I’m not exactly sure what “all i have done” means. If you’re talking about modifications you’ve made to the code etc. since you purchased the control, then you just need to deploy the code to your client’s server. If you are talking about forms you have created and entries etc., then that is not a supported feature.

If you have the latest version of the code, what you can try to do is save the forms you have created as templates, then go to the folder “htdocs\template-files” and copy that file over to the equivalent folder on your client’s server.

Let me know if you need further assistance.

Okay. Sorry if it wasnt clear. Let me explain further. 1. I had installed the form application on a subdomain in my server. I went ahead to creat forms about 5 different forms with it, still on the subdomain. I used it to do a demo to my client. Now she likes everything and wants me to upload everything to her domain. How do I do that? to transfer everything to her hers.

2. You mentioned saving the forms as template, Can you explain further please.

Go to the forms-settings.php file and update the following to true:

SHOW_TEMPLATES_IN_LIST=true; SHOW_UPDATE_TEMPLATES_BUTTON=true;

On the index page of your widget you should see a button that says “Update Templates”. What you do is check the checkbox next to any form you want to save as a template, then click on the “Update Templates” button. After that, follow the instructions I left earlier, by copying the json file in “htdocs\template-files” over to your client’s server.

Again, if you don’t have the latest version of the form builder, you will not be able to execute the steps above.

1. I tried to set email notification so i can receive emails notifying when someone sends a form, but the feature isn’t working because i do not receive notifications 2. The setting to set the uploaded files to save in a folder, is it for the files being attached with the forms? if yes, then the code was not included. please help.

1. Have you setup the Emailer settings in the lib/forms-settings.php file?

2. The setting you speak of is for saving files into your local folder—Yes. How did you you conclude that the code was not included? Was there an error when you tried to save a file?

1. yes i did the setting, but still do not get mails notification when i fill out the form and submit. 2. Sorry i didnt check the folder “uploads” before sending the query. now i fount it, and it saved the files there.

Hi,

I just check your form builder demo. Looks fine. Before I buy Please confirm 1.I want to make a form which stores data of cutomers in mysql. 2. I want to retrieve data saved in mysql database

is it possible because your demo don’t show any database setting

Waiting for your reply

Hi, yes, data is stored in a mysql database table. You can also retrieve form entries using the excel export feature.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

When I click on “Contact Author”, my messages are posted to the “Comments” page. Your responses also appear on that page. Is there a way to make any message written, after clicking on “Contact Author,” be classified as private and not made public?

Thanks for your reply. Will you please send me your email address so that I can describe what I would like for you to do.

Some customers have reached out to me through my author profile before. Not sure how that works exactly but you can get in touch that way.
