Hi 2 questions – love the plugin and have it running for a year. We are on 3.1.9
two questions:
+ ticking the mail chimp subscription does not trigger a subscription on the mail chimp side. what could be the issue?
+ I saw there are a few updates already – could you advise on the upgrade process. Would I loose all settings and customisations?

Hi looks_awesome, I need the ninja to accept two-words for the (first) Name e.g., Dr John. When I tried it, it only saved Dr with no John. Is there anything somewhere I need to edit so this becomes possible? Thanks.

not all mailing services support first and last name fields, some just name field. mailchimp supports this. For Dr John first name will be Dr and lastname is Jonh which is not. We’ll consider to add title field and separate field for first and last name. If you want we can customize your version so everything that user types in Name fields goes to First name

Hi looks_awesome, Thanks for your reply. Btw, I don’t mean of adding another field for the Title alone as we want to capture a potential subscriber as quickly as possible. What I mean is that the First Name field should be able to accept either a single or 2 word ‘first name’ regardless how the subscribers will want to use it. For my case, the subscriber may add a title before his name so this gets recorded in my emailing service. When an autoresponder message is sent, it includes the title as well (just out of courtesy).
To illustrate what I mean, please have a look at the link I sent you. The landing page was created using Optin-gate and entries are sent to MyMail. It only requires 2 fields but in the first name, the subscriber can put in more than 2 items with a space in between, in this case a title (Dr) and name (John) if you know what I mean. MyMail is able to record everything the subscriber puts in the “first name” field however, when a visitor subscribes using the Ninja, it only records “the first item”, in this case only the title (Dr) and leaves out the other.
If this is not possible, then I guess, I have to deactivate for now the Ninja although I sure really like it and it was supposed to be used as the standing email capture directly within the main site while the optin-gate one was set up as a standalone squeeze page. I have two questions:
1. would it be possible to have white text/logo on the SUBMIT button? Right now it’s forced to be black, which limits my design options for the panel by.. roughly 50%
2. I use Mailchimp and want to track how well the sidebar is converting. Can I add extra form fields that are hidden? It is a major thing for me.

Sorry for the many questions, but hopefully this will be the last. How could i force “required” the “Your name” field so it shows asterisk too. Right now, the required field only is for the ‘Your email”. Thank you.

Hi looks_awesome, I am suing MyMail newsletter plugin and set the Ninja to send opt-ins to MyMail in the Mailing tab. I’m not sure if this can be resolved at your end or at MyMail’s end but once someone signups via Ninja, it automatically subscribes to my MyMail list without sending the confirmation email first. However, if someone signs up using the signup form generated by MyMail, MyMail sends confirmation mail, no problem with that. I’ve also tried sending optins to Mailchimp and Mailchimp has no problem sending the confirmation email. I just want to makle use of the double-optin procedure. Any idea? Thank you.

Hi, I’d like to purchase your plugin to create a form for domain name offer submissions. (name, email, phone, offer_amount) The form should have the ability to require a minimum number in the offer_amount field. For example, if I am selling the domain name for $1,000 then I would like to hardcode the form to only accept offers that are at least $400. If someone enters a lower number then their will be a notification telling them that they must enter at least $xyz amount. Is this possible? Thank you! Mark

if you use mailing service then you can remove/add subscriptions in its admin panels. If you send to plain email then you should control this manually. There is no integration with Jetpack. So you need to add subscription you get from plugin somewhere in jetpack dashboard

Hello, I managed to make everything work smoothly, using NK Sliding panel and NK Subscription for different needs. I have no problem with NK Sliding panel (except for the lack of a few features found in NK Subscription) but with the second, there seem to be a problem :
I am using the simple internal email method and not all the other external services, and I added the fields Name and Phone. There are 3 things though that I can’t do :
1> I’d like to make all the fields required, not only the email, I tried to put a data-rules=”required” but it doesn’t work 2> you are using a single field for the first name and the last name and then you separate the $name into a $first_name and $last_name, I would prefer 2 fields because I can’t be sure people will write their last name after the first name all the time. Also, the email sent following a subscription only includes the first name, not the last name, I’d like both… 3> There is nothing preventing people from suscribing more than once I think.

Hi, I ve bought NK Subscription and NK Sliding panel and want to use them together, I thought I managed to get everything working, but actually, it is only working as it should if I am logged in as an admin (but the option to be shown only to logged admin is not selected for either module).
If I access the website anonymously, I get two problems : my revolution slider disappears, and the panel for NK subscription can’t be opened (neither through the normal button nor by other ways), but the panels from NK sliding panels work correctly. If I disabble NKSubscr, my revolution slider reappears. I find it strange also that if I disabble NK sliding panel and enable NK Subscr, NK sub isn’t visible… I can only see it if i reactivate NKSP

I found out that I don’t have this problem if I disabble minify options from W3 cache, so the problem doesnt come from your module but from the minifying of JS or CSS. It works for now with no minification.
Yes, this can issue because W3 module works differently for admin and non-admins. Minification should works but scripts shouldn’t be moved to footer
Hi i purchased this plugin and it works on my test site. However i put it into my live site and whenever i go to save any settings, ie colors or mailchimp api. It pretends to save but then goes to the homepage. Ive tried deactivating it, removing the files and reinstalling it but nothing helps.
