Hello, thanks for the update. Now you put a new funktion inside, you can scroll the product, very nice. But if i turn on this, is on my start side (normally 4 picture in the row) now only 3 and 1 is in the next line only one, and in the next line coming 3 picture again and in the next line only one Picture. Looks not so good.
Please can you tell what i can do, the 4 picture appear in a row, like before.

What does a CDN have to do with the image loss? I realized several of my images were corrupted in the size reduction. Also, the optimize new image function doesnt allow you to manually add new product images in 1.6.1.2.

You mentioned something above about a CDN affecting images so I asked for clarification and also pointed out a bug with Presta Speed in regards to importing images into 1.6.1.2. The module somehow blocks loading images for products when manually uploading.

you create a cron job? or execute the url? if you execute the url you get a memory error if have huge images. use the cron task or optimize by img/p/0/ img/p/1, etc
This error when I clicked Database optimization section, not images.

I asked for support since my module was not optimising images, they solved it by installing a pre-release version. Then, 1260 images were deleted after the optimisation job they started. Waiting for response!
Thats strange, because the module dont have any code to delete original images in the folder, so must be another thing. When you select to regenerate all images and select to delete, prestashop delete the old ones and can mess all the original images
Images are not deleted at all, but have 0 size. It’s like the conversion was wrong or sth. I did not delete any images using the regeneration.
you use cdn or any cache service?
We already solved this using a backup. Now I have another problem. When I optimize a specific folder, images are not reduced at all and a set of temporal archives <imagename.jpg>-tmp are created, with 0bytes size. How can I optimize a module images?
0 bytes means that the system cant access to url. Are you under a cdn?
How can I know it?
in preferences, performance you can see id use media servers. And if ssl is enabled can be a problem to optimize the images too
What are you going to do for the image reduction portion of this module now that the Smush.It service is no longer available?
as the module says, now uses resmush service

Hi, Shacker. After clearing the abandoned carts and improving the database integrity, I’m getting a “fatal error” message when trying to access the frontpage

nvm, shacker. It was a cache issue thing. I just changed a few parameters in the performance tab and everything is back to normal .

Please let me know when will be available for Prestashop 1.6.1.0. Also if you could test if our site could be improved. Is very slow loading. We also have module Express Cache. There is any problem having both?

Do this module work on lightspeed server? Prestashop cache is disabled on light speed because the server has a cache.
Will i see better speed on a server like this? Light speed is another teknology then apache so do need to know if this can help me

Thanks for this useful module! When I activated the module first I was a bit disappointed because I got even more bad results at google pagespeed (as some other mentioned in comments before). But then I noticed if I DISABLE prestashop cache (advanced parameters => performance) and enabled ONLY the module prestaspeed then my pagespeed values got green (86/100 at least for desktop version). Now I am excited
Can anybody confirm that this module works best if prestashop’s performance cache is DISABLED?
P.S. I enabled prestashop cache again and it keeps staying green ... so it is probably necessary to disable prestashop cache first and enable it afterwards again …
best is always enable prestashop cache, we upgrade that option that disables cache

i would like to suggest about
ini_set(‘memory_limit’, ‘256M’) setting.
It lowers the site limit , even it is setted higher at server php.ini.
Maybe you can check the memory limit first , and if lower than 256 set the limit at 256?

getting cache related errors like. When ever a user made a purchase, and hence cart becomes empty and then logs out and when re-login to the shop, the old cart products associated with that user gets automatically displayed in the cart. also we are getting some errors related to smarty multiple times, which can be shared over the email. Please help & Oblige

in the module configuration, disable the htaccess optimization and check if works
it is already disabled
After running this on PS 1.6.1.0, the Page Speed on gtmet decreases from 90% to 58%.... htaccess was already disabled

in the module configuration, at the bottom, you have the option to optimize images. For the orders, you want to delete orders by id? you can use the free module delete orders (search in google for prestashop delete orders)
