Wow! Great looking plugin in demo, but… well. It’s breaking a lot of things. 1. Adding mouseover title to menu items. 2. Will not display a slider. 3. Breaks page link. May have to do some custom coding on this to get it to work. I think it’s my theme.

On Contact it may be a customized form, but the general form style from current theme is used. You can check that by switching to another theme to see how it works. Any Showcase can be customized by adding the desired CSS style into that section: Custom CSS.

Hello, I have created 15 testimonails, I have set it up as 2 columns with the READ MORE link and testimonial 13, 14 , and 15 , with the read more link are not working at all. It doesn’t display any data. What is the issue here?

We can not be sure. Maybe there is not additional text to show up, over the “read more” limit. We need to have a look over the showcase and how was built the shortcode behind it.

Are you asking about Widget title? ‘cause into the Testimonial Showcase is not any title. Any additional text/content out of the Testimonial Showcase can be managed out of the plugin options. A Title, can be an additional text added above the Testimonial Showcase.

But unless is a text widget for title. Anyhow, I just added a text widget and all is well. Maybe you might want to add a title in the future instead of having so many. Don’t you agree?

The Plugin is compatible with BuddyPress, that meaning that you can set the Testimonals Showcase anywhere inside the BuddyPress but can not handle automatically reviews from one users to another.

Hi, I asked about the other plugin. I use multiple frameworks for wordpress, and I would like one plugin that can work with another builder (and not just visual composer), I understand this will gonna do the job. My question is, is possible to use this plugin with visual composer? It will work? Thanks

The Standalone version will work with any frameworks that accepts shortcodes, including the Visual Composer. The only additional action is to copy the Shortcode generated into the desired place (in VC, into a Text Block will work perfectly).
Keep in mind that, a regular License is available just for ONE website. If you gonna use the plugin on multiple website, you need to buy one license for each one. That’s the mandatory rule.

Hi, I have switched the plugin off (and moved the page and database) and now when I turn the plugin back on all testimonials are gone. Is there a way to reconnect them via database to make them show up in the back- and frontend?

If you uninstall the Plugin, all the data are deleted, being a mandatory and safety procedure. If you just deactivated, the Testimonials should remain there. Still, if you have a special case, let us know via the Support system with enough details to have a look from your side.

I just purchased this plugin, but cannot get it to work.
All I want is a dedicated page where people can VIEW all of the testimonials, along with a button at the top of the page that they can click to take them to the form where they can submit their own testimonial.
How can I do this?

The View is a simple Testimonial Showcase built with the ShortCode Generator option. Also, the Top button it may be a simple link to a page where the Submission Form is available. The plugin, doesn’t create automatically buttons between pages, that being a regular website content, like any other link.

The Plugin, set all the Testimonials submitted from the Frontend side to Pending. That avoid bad situations and the website is more safe.
It can be changed from the code side, but is strongly not recommended.

The Form Submission is just a regular testimonials add form, so only the options available for a testimonial are available into the Form also.
The Form style is based on your Theme form style and yes, can be adapted from a css file file or manageable option. Also, for a custom way to show up, the imtst_form_view.php can be managed.

The default setting is to be set on Pending. You can change that from the code side, but is strongly not recommended if you wanna avoid bad situations.

I will try to answer in few words on your questions, but being so many to explain is better to open a ticket with those questions and we will be able to provide you all the details there.
1) The “Read More” texts can be managed from functions.php file, on line 280 and 283
2) It strongly depends of your selected theme. But you have a “Custom CSS” feature into General Settings page where you can add your css code for overwriting. For some Themes, the Color elements is based on the predefined Color selected.
3) The grey color of the bubble section for theme 1 can be change using the css path: .theme_1 .testi-wrapper .quotes{ }
4) Testimonials content, for safety reasons, doesn’t accept shortcodes but you can attach social share box into the testimonials structure by using the ShortCode Display (PHP option) and adding into the html structure of the desired theme (the index.php file). We’ve managed that for one of our customers but it requests a minimum php knowledge.
