Hello, the opening hours in this script are added manually in a script file. Thus, you could display your client’s opening hours by creating opening hours fields in your CMS and using the saved values to feed our script on the frontend. Hello, As it’s not a CMS plugin, there shoudn’t be any “config” screen. We can do it as a custom built for you it you send us more information.
Thank you for a quick reply. It’s more the design and validation for entering the timings. Eg like on Facebook you can enter “From” and “Till” and select the days which it applies to. On submit to send json/ajax (from this section onwards would be php which would be my side).
I understand your point, but doing this would turn this “script” into a more complex interface that most users don’t want. Most developers just want to edit a small portion of code and vars and drop it in their source code. Your request is more a “user-friendly” interface for webmasters or final users.

How do I call this without loading at the end of the document as a script? I want to call it after the page has loaded.
Hello, then you would need to add some jQuery document loaded statements. But usually this script is call in the head section.
The demo shows it being called in the footer of the body, if I move it to the top it does not work

It is standard JS, maybe you load it after calling it. I can look at your code if you let me support you.
I would prefer to call it after the page is loaded but I cant seem to get it to work. I use a included js file for my page footer and perform a document.onload in which I replace some fields with some other functions, but it escapes me how to call this one to highlight the times.

Have you correctly loaded the required CSS files and jquery librairies and custom files first ?
I will review to be sure but I believe so, based on the demo code the function executes when it is loaded/reached. Can it be called manually as a normal function?
Its is fired automatically. We could but this has never been asked so we think it’s easier for most people.

Hi Dave,
It’s possible to include our script in, let’s say, every headers tags of your CMS pages, you just have to code the vars who will save your business open hours, so that you can then echo the values in our script.
We already used it in WP and Drupal, not as a plugin ofcourse, but we include it, and then feed it with the vars we need.

Our script doesnt “produce” html code, which means that as soon as you translate your weekdays, it will simply keep pointing to the same right CSS classes and elements, and will keep working. Besoin d’aide en français, n’hésite pas

hello, i was curious if this can be used for multiple listings in one site. I have a business directory and would like to have this on each page with different times for each business…. is that possible?

If your business information are listed alone on a specific page (like a single-page template) then yes it’s possible, you will simply load our script with specific opening hours values from your DB each time.
If you plan to display several business information on a single page, and load several opening hours timetable too, we could work with you to customize our script so that you could “identify” each business timetable and be sure the timetables don’t mix the values received.
We have also developped an add-on that simply display an “open now / closed now” sign. You can get it once you have purchased OpenHours.

Also… I just installed this script and it isn’t working. The server is loading the 2 scripts: openhours.css and openhours.js but all I have is a very small, unformatted table with no style or javascript working. Here’s my div:
