Any closer to the “shortcode per product” idea becoming reality ? :-)

Please !

We are finishing documentation for our new script which will include this functionality. We will release it today, and then we’ll need couple more days to add this functionality to this existing script.

Wow ! Fantastic. Thanks for the news :-)

I am DESPERATELY needing a PayPal solution for a WordPress site that allows me to create discounts for items for different quantities. Does this plugin by any change have those discounting capabilities?

Thanks!

Hi design126,

Thank you for your interest in our script.

Unfortunately there is no such option for discounts, however here’s what you can do with our script.

We have “services” in script – you can create unlimited amount of services. Think of “service” as your products package. For example, you can add service “Product A – 25 pieces” for $50.00 and then add another service “Product A – 50 pieces” for $90.00 and so on … hope you get the idea… I dont know if that will help you – but that’s the only possible way how this script can help you “out-of-the-box”

I just purchased your plugin today. My question is that I have a website that offers 9 different courses using 9 installations of Wordpress (each in a different directory on the same master domain).

My question is do I have to purchase 9 different licenses or does my 1 license cover all 9 installations since they are all on the same domain?

Hi webcoach,

Thank you for purchasing our script.

According to envato licensing terms you do need to purchase 1 license for each:

Quote: (a) Your use of the Work is limited to a single application. (taken from http://wiki.envato.com/support/legal-terms/licensing-terms/ )

Quote: For web content a regular license is suitable for use on a single domain or single subdomain or single directory. (taken from http://wiki.envato.com/buying/howto-buying/licensing/)

You can also contact envato support (open support ticket) and direct this question to them if you’re still unsure.

Great ! Here’s hoping :-) IMO it’s the only extra this nifty little plug needs.

What I’d really like is if each “service” could have its own shortcode. I like this plugin because it is simple, but having to use a dropdown menu is very clumsy & ugly. Any chance of a shortcode-per-product ?

thanks

Thanks for your suggestion southland. We’ll think about it and see if we can implement something like that.

Hello, Before I purchase your product I would like to know the following. PLease post your reply soonest, Thanks.

1. Once I install your plugin, can a paying customer immediately be able to download a newsletter that I am selling? The customer will pay to Paypal via your button. What I need is for them to be redirected immediately to a page where they can download the newsletter. Does your product take care of this? I ask because I don’t know how to integrate paypal with my wordpress blog and if your product does this in one easy step, then it is worth more than $12 :)-

2. Is there a way to prevent nonpaying customers from accessing the folder from where the download is available?

Hi madras,

Thank you for your interest in our script. Unfortunately our script will not help you. There is no functionality to distribute downloads. If you have php/mysql knowledge – then with a bit of customization you will be able to achieve this with our script.

Hi, Thanks for plugin, works very well, but i need to remove the “pay by PayPal” title and rename the “Service:” title. Can you give me some advice how can i do that?

Thank you

Hi Horvey,

Thank you for purchasing our script.

You will need to open pppt_paypal_terminal.php and “find and replace” Pay By PayPal words and “Service:” That’s pretty much the only place you need to edit. Please let us know if you will have any other questions or requests.

This item breaks down my visual WordPress editor… activate plugin: WordPress Editor doesn’t work. Deactivate: WordPress editor works. Activate: WordPress editor doesn’t work. Deactivate: .... Any fix for this?

Best regards, indiapart.

PS.: as I see it right now: Settings and license get lost after deactivating and activating the plugin again… please fix this, too.

PPS .: hmm, I thought the WordPress plugin would help me more than the common Paypal terminal Script. Is it possible to get a refund for this? I would like to buy the common script. Or can I modify the WordPress plugin back to the standard script? The WP is possibly based on the standard script?

Hi indiapart,

We just replied to your email and received a bounce back message..

This is the mail system at host dd26834.kasserver.com.I’m sorry to have to inform you that your message could not be delivered to one or more recipients. It’s attached below.

Please provide an email where we can send a reply to your request. Thank you.

Hi, thanks for the reply. Still, even if it’s not a bug it somehow disturbs me. It is sometimes necessary to deactivate a plugin, and losing all of the settings then is everything else than funny. This is btw. the most annoying point about the plugin and the main point why I would like to use Your default PayPal-Terminal than the WordPress version. Though it breaks down my visual editor I think this is only my problem and it should work everywhere else fine (it’s really strange, if I save the post, the visual editor appears again. But doesn’t matter). Still I would be happy to read Your mail, just try to send the mail again to me (info (at) indiapart.de) it should really work, I get mails all the time via this mail. Maybe just in the single moment You sent it to me, the mail server was down or something, I dunno.

Best regards, indiapart

Hi indiapart,

We tried to forward the email – got the same problem. Do you have alternative email ?

i bought another plugin for paypal but i couldn’t solve my problem. if you say what i will say is possible i will buy your plugin and wait for your support to do that. That is my problem; I need to use my created button via paypal(with label changed “Add Special Instructions” field and with my own image for button) and after the purchases i have to send e-mail to that customer with what customer wrote in “Add Special Instructions” field, paid e-mail,transiction id. is that possible with your codes? Note: I’m using Wordpress

Not without custom adjustment to the script. You will need to edit it a bit to use paypal’s “special note’.

Whay you can do though, use the script out of the box. Install it, activate it – and you will have an option in settings to enable “comments” field – which will go to your email as soon as customer pays (and also will stay in the administration next to successful transaction). In this case you don’t even need to use your own paypal button.

Hello there

I am looking for a way to get members to our charity. It’s £6 a year and was looking for a plugin that could let members add custom information like Name, Address, Email, Interests. Then pay the money and then they would be considered a member of the group,

I don’t fancy having to learn PHP though

Is the option to add custom fields coming soon or is there another plugin that could do it?

Cheers

Hi AdamRoxby,

Thank you for your interest in our script.

Unfortunately such update is not scheduled at the moment. We have many other scripts which we will need to update/release first. The only thing I can suggest is to use “Comments” field as a general field to collect the data which you mentioned.

Great file and very useful! I look forward to using this extensively. I do have a request though, I have a small cart project I’d like to discuss with you. I sent an email through your main site as well this morning. Please get in contact with me so we can chat about it. I sent you my Skype info and will be online for the day. If we cannot reach out today, maybe tomorrow. Let me know.

Cheers team!

Hi drmedia1,

Thank you for purchasing our script.

We received your email and we will reply within today.

Hello,

I am thinking of purchasing this item. But I would like to know if I can add custom fields to the form such as “address”, “city”, “state”, etc. and have those values passed on to paypal when the user submits the form?

You answer would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi antaws2,

You can add extra fields and pass them to paypal.com, however not through user interface – you will need to edit the code directly, at the moment, to suit your needs.

Thanks for the information. Is it a simple task? Would you be able to give me any insight on doing this? Thank you.

You’ve got to have php/mysql knowledge. We can point you in right direction, but we cannot write code for you. If you have very little knowledge of php you migth spend a lot of time to achieve what you described…

We are pleased to announce that we have submitted the update to this plugin which will allow you to insert the payment form into any post on your wordpress site. It should be approved within couple of days.

Update is now available for download!

Anyone there? I really need help with this, please respond.

Hi agaete,

Our usual response time is 24-48 hours after receiving request (during business days).

We replied to your previous comment a minute ago.

Hi,

I just purchased this plugin to use it in my wordpress site. I love it but only question I have is:

How do I insert this into a page/? I really have no use for this plugin if is only to be used as a widget.

I bought it thinking that if is a updated version of the previous one, would have all more flexibility. Can I insert this into a Page or post?

how do I do that?

Any help will be greatly appreciated, Thank you.

Sergio

Hi Sergio,

Thank you for purchasing our script.

Unfortunately our script doesn’t support insertion to the page/post at the moment, without some code customizations. We plan to add such features in next updates if there will be more demands for such functionality.

Hi Sergio,

We are pleased to announce that we have submitted the update to this plugin which will allow you to insert the payment form into any post on your wordpress site. It should be approved within couple of days.

Update is now available for download!

Hello,

I purchased and downloaded this script just a few days ago, and have the most up to date version for the time being, but unfortunately no transactions are showing up in the Transactions section. I did a test transaction using the PayPal Payment Terminal and completed payment through PayPal, received the usual PayPal payment sent e-mail from PayPal itself, but nothing showed up in the Transactions section in the plug-in’s wordpress admin section. Also, I didn’t receive a notification e-mail, either as the person making the donation, or as the admin. (I specified both e-mail addresses in the settings section of the plug-in.)

Do you have any idea what might be going on here? I followed the installation instructions to the letter (including uploading the files in binary), and am not receiving any error codes from the plug-in. I’m using Wordpress 3.1.

Also, another question – When someone leaves a comment in the ‘Comments’ box that is just above the ‘Pay Now’ button, how does that comment get delivered to me, the admin? Will it show up on the Transactions page in the wordpress admin area, or will it be included in an e-mail sent to me, the site admin?

Thanks for your help!

Hi steveinc,

Thank you for purchasing our script.

We received your email as well.

Regarding the comment field – it will show up only in email at the moment. We do store it in DB for future updates though.

Regarding transactions not showing up. We tested this script on WP 3 .1 and transactions did appear no problem. They will appear only when somebody actually pays, unfinished transactions are stored in DB only. How many transaction did you try when you were testing ? maybe it was just a temporary glitch on paypal ipn side.. Please try couple more times and let us know how it goes (email). If it will be the same – contact us, we’ll try to assist you on this.

Was this ment to be used as a virtual terminal of sorts?

And if you are using this as a virtual terminal and the card holders card is linked to a paypal account it will not let you process is this correct?

There are several possible uses for this script, major ones are – donations, service payments and simple payments which you need to get from your clients for example.

It is not a virtual terminal. Virtual terminal (in terms of paypal) basically allows you to process credit cards in the account management of paypal.com, having clients credit card info handy.

Of course you can use this script on behalf of the person who wants to pay you, for example if you’re on the phone with your client who wants to pay, simply enter the amount and click submit. You will be taken to paypal.com where you can enter clients credit card info, which will be processed no problem IF credit card is not associated with any other paypal account, as you mentioned. If it is – client (or in our example – you) will be asked to login with associated paypal account.

Nice work.

Can this be used for recurring payments, as well as one-time payments?

Thanks

Hi SaharaZen,

Thank you for your interest in our script.

Unfortunately there is no support for recurring payments at the moment.

I can help you with that – That is a PayPal function – go to PayPal site and there is a full explanation of services.

Briefly – 1. You have to have an account set up. – 2. Actually I think they just extended donation capability to those without PayPal accounts too – but go their and check for yourself.

Customers also can pay with credit card if they don’t have paypal account, IF merchant has premier or business account set up.

Hello, i have one question before buying this great plugin:

If someone doesn’t have any paypal account, is it still possible for him to do a donation ? Thanks

Hi ludomuse,

If you have PREMIER or BUSINESS verified paypal account then such person will be able to pay with credit card (visa, mastercard, amex, etc..) Paypal will show “Don’t have paypal? Pay with credit card!” option on the payment page.

P.S. Premier and Business accounts are free, there is no any extra fee in order to get those.
