Found a weird bug. Your documentation explains how to link bbpress profile pictures to userpro profiles (thanks for already having that documented!) It works great, however the fix is leaving the first user profile in a thread to still link back to bbpress profiles – where every other profile pic in the thread thereafter links to userpro.

pre-sale question. I want to use this plugin on a site where I need a user to create an account, fill out a form and upload files to me. will this work for what I want?
Userpro can be used to create account and can upload files too. But which form you want users to have ? Can you please also explain what you mean by upload files to me ?
im not sure what form you mean. I want a user to be able to upload blue print files to us. the upload form would be protected and they would need to create an account. would the plugin work for this?
Users can register using registration form and then edit there profile. These forms can be created using Userpro and it is possible to include custom fields. So you can create field to upload files but there is no specific feature via which admin can view these uploaded files. By protection -what are exact features you are looking ?
we want a user to be able to upload files for us to print. they would need to create an account in order to get to the upload form
This is has been resolved in our latest release of UserPro . It seems you are using old version please update UserPro to latest version , this should solve your issue . Thanks
Hi there, how could I add badges for custom fields? So if a user clicks “yes” on a custom field then they get a specific badge next to their name?

This plugin looks very interesting, before purchase I’d like to know if it is possible to limit content to a member (or member category) and a visitor who has the password. I would like a page visible by a single member (and not others) and a visitor with a password. Thank you for your help and support.

we have purchased the use pro and we have 2-3 issues
1. In create account page while adding country option – once we select the country still the search and drop down field stays please see in below URL http://talkaboutfailures.com/taf/profile-2/register/2. How to activate the facebook, and twitter login in create account and login page so user can login with that account and whats the difference in social profiles of fb,google, twitter in register/create an account page ?
3. in header menu we already have login link and need to give option for logout too so once user login with header menu link then those automatically get change with log out text.

1. Yes I can the issue , but I strongly suspect this is because of conflict with other plugins/theme , please try deactivating other plugins also try with default theme and let me know.
2 . To integrate social login you need to enable respective logins from backend>UserPro>Settings and add the app credentials for more info please visit – http://userproplugin.com/userpro/docs/#social , there is not difference in any of the social logins all profiles are created identically .
3. This can be achieved by changing or adding some code in your theme as headers are controlled by theme.

Hello, I have some feature questions:
- can I do with this plugin that if a User of a specific role likes (FB) an URL, then he also can comment (a post or custom post type) ? More generally, if he likes an URL I allow him to be capable for some WP or 3rd party plugin capabilities.
- Further more generally: if User does something, which activity, condition or status is identified, evaluated by User Pro ( likes or keep liking an URL, registers via User Pro with social media or simply logged in via UP ) then UP enables / disables some WP and/or 3rd party plugin capabilities; so is it planned to have this feature in the near furture? Thanks.

Hi, In login form (but in general userpro forms) you can submit although user doesn’t fill email/password (required fields), please can you change this behaviour? it’s illogical, if user doesn’t fill this fields why submit button is activated? form can’t be sent since these fields are fill so why allow user to push the submit button? Thanks

Thanks! In other way, when submitting the login form the error: “Error in jQuery.ajax while submitting a form” appears a lot , it’s normal? I understand plugin is not perfect and may this error may happen sometimes but in the 20% of login submits happens, there is a way to solve this? could be induced for incompatibilities with other plugins or theme? Hello, there has been some problem when I set up default plugin pages, it created them 3 times. I deleted them all manually, emptied pages’ trash, went to “Setup pages” tab, I resetted page slug options and tried to “Rebuild UserPro pages” multiple times. But it wasn’t succesful: 4/4 attempt failed. What’ can be done? Thanks
I deactivated plugin, deleted files, logged out from WP, logged in again, reinstalled plugin, activated, tried to rebuild pages but it wasn’t successful. ???
Ohho , this steps usually works , are you sure there were no pages left in pages or trash . Also did removed the digits from slugs and then rebuild the pages , please still issue persist please drop a note via http://codecanyon.net/user/DeluxeThemes#contact , it will be easy to track down the issue to closure there. Why when a new user register with userpro, in Show this name publicly is added two random numbers at end of username or userlogin? And this username plus two random numbers (userloginxx) is shown in profile.

i have some plugins for UserPro already, for clients… i’m planning to add the whole package on a new site i’m building right now, and i’d like to know if you have suggestions on what would be the best 3 or 4 themes that would integrate your tool visually?
Hmmm, hard to do that without more information. It really depends on what sort of niche site you are looking to create and who your target audience is. fyi though , the one that you see on our demo is 7 Themes.
When user logs in from LIGHTBOX its not keeping the user on the same page but its taking him to his HOME.

Userpro is a plugin and it can work with all themes. And yes BuddyPress too – in fact, it has been designed to integrate seamlessly with BuddyPress – For example, you can sync UserPro profile links, UserPro profile links, Userpro display name with BuddyPress.

Yes – Userpro follows WordPress best practices. And we keep on updating plugin to make it compatible with latest WordPress releases.
Can I restrict private messaging for different payed membership levels? Also can I block certain url keywords. Example any url with the word /messages/ in it or /emotions/ thanks
In Private message addon admin can decide which roles can send messages. So if different membership levels have different roles then this is possible.
You can not block words. Let me know if you need any more details.
