I just updated Visual Composer, but in the licence tab there is a message saying “Please activate your license in Product License tab! ”, even if I already did it.
In the same tab, at the bottom, there is a message “License successfully activated.”
It looks that now Visual Composer is not working properly and the website is not visible as before.
Please let me know ASAP what’s happening and how to solve this problem.

Hi again. I’ve run into a problem and traced it back to this plugin. Often if I save a page when I navigate away from a post, I get the dialog ‘The changes you made will be lost if you navigate away from this page’, even if I’ve made no changes and made sure the page has definitely finished loading. This problem goes away after I uninstall the plugin.
Hi, The problem is a small issue I am having in the permanent history feature, You get that dialog if you are editing the same page from multiple devices, or if the page was edited by someone in other device. You can solve this easily by clearing the history, open the post settings popup and click the “clear history” button. Thanks

The clear history trick only works the one time. If I then go to another page, save it then navigate somewhere, the dialog comes back. To you have an ETA on fixing this bug? Thank you.
Hi, When I was testing the plugin for almost a month, I only needed to clear the history few times, I will investigate more. maybe if you could tell what you did to get that page modified notification? Thanks

Hi. It’s in the backend. Whenever I edit a page and update it, then try to navigate anywhere in the backend, I get the notification. I have to clear history every single time I want to navigate somewhere to avoid the notification.

Visual composer is changes so much this month, they are breaking lot of add-ons!

Hi. I’ve just purchased, but the undo/redo buttons are now showing. I’m using WordPress 4.3.1, Visual Composer 4.7.3, Templatera 1.1.4 and Visual Composer Clipboard 3.23. I can’t supply you login details as I’m working on an internal company server. I’ve checked the console and there are no errors.

When I’m I’m using Visual composer, and I have an object’s edit screen open, and I’m typing, and all this is on the front-end, pressing Ctrl+Z not only undoes my typing action in the edit screen but also activates the Undo plugin which creates an Undefined result.

I never thinked about that ctrl+z issue, I just added these keyboard shortcuts in the last release but I will try to see what’s the problem

Yes, I know, and that’s why I added ctrl+z and ctrl+y for undo/redo buttons and this caused conflict with the tinymce editor

After testing on VC 4.7 on fresh WordPress 4.3 install, I found that the plugin is working correctly, The only bug known till now: is a conflict with templatera and I am going to fix it and release new update for it soon

As of today the new envato support policy is in effect with 6 months of support instead of lifetime. From what I understand you are able to set your own support rules on your support forum. I am curious what support will be offered to existing customers. Will I still get support and updates 6 months after my purchase or will I have to purchase a 6 month support pack after the 6 month period?

Even if you saved the post, you closed the browser or your computer shutdown, you wont lose the changes you was doing,
It will work with html5 localStorage to save each change and allow you to undo/redo them at any time until you click the clear button.

Also, the plugin feature is to restore change during a session, if you close the browser or save the post or page, it wont be able to restore the changes

Any problems with the Bridge theme?
My plugins for visual composer integrate fine within good themes like Bridge, I also offer support to fix and update my plugin if there was any conflict with other plugins installed.
I had to comment since there are other comments here that might deter a purchaser. I installed this, and it works perfectly. I have a theme that does not monkey with VC’s core (obviously if you have a theme that does this, you may have issues) and I have five addons to VC (so other addons-at least the more popular ones—don’t interfere). I also have a bunch of plugins enabled. No conflicts.
I don’t know why this isn’t a core VC feature, but I am VERY GLAD someone figured out just how necessary it is and created it. Thank you

I’d like to buy this, but seeing above many reporting its not working, and I don’t see anything about why or what to do to fix if even possible. All I see is requests for login details. So, please share whether working with latest or not and what needs to be fixed if not.
Some of buyers who said it’s not working was in frontend mode which is not supported. Some others was related to old version bugs that was fixed in last version But if your backend have any JavaScript error coming from other plugins or theme, it may stop the plugin script from running. If you can tell what version of WordPress and theme you have I will confirm that for you
