Good Day, I uploaded my videos and it shows fine on the APP, but the LATEST VIDEO start showing bugs as the showing video goes to another video after selected from the LATEST VIDEO page, it’s linking to the wrong video. Please help.

It may be caused by content description that you enter. recommended to write manually, sometimes, when the app read the unknown character type, it will cause wrong selected video. you can try to start all over again.

We just develop for Android Platform, so, for now, not available for ios version. then, this app has integrated with php admin panel as backend for this app, you can try it in demo app and admin panel, so it can’t use wordpress as bavkend system.

Managed to set up the database and got connected to the app, but when I try and watch videos from the app it’s really choppy. They can be either YouTube videos or mp4 links and they stutter/stop/skip quite often, but if I watch them in my browser they are fine… Any ideas?

What you mean about choppy, is the video won’t played? can you give me more details about your trouble, because, if video still can’t play normally, so your configuration still not correctly.

I have not changed anything to do with video playback – after adding an MP4 video or YouTube video I try and play it on my device, it plays but it’s not smooth, it stutters now and again.

Hi, I have some questions
A- to rename the package, I have to follow these steps 1- First click once on your package and then click setting icon on Android Studio. 2- Close/Unselect Compact Empty Middle Packages 3- Then, right click your package and rename it. 4- Right click on the root folder of your project. 5- Click “Open Module Setting”. 6- Go to the Flavours tab. 7- Change the application ID with same name of your package name before > Press OK. I could explain how to go about finding Flavours tab? I selected solodroid > yourvideoschannel, and have placed the right mouse button, then I placed Refactor > Rename. That way I changed the name. Then I went and I changed AndroidManifest.xml <string name = “app_name”> Name My App </ string> so I can change that?
B- I wonder if I can translate this app to Spanish and remove advertisements from appearing?
C- the user name and password: admin, does not allow me to enter the access panel administrator. Could you tell me which is the access? I hope your prompt response Regards

A. Yes, the step to change package name and application name like that, with following in the documentation guide, you can do that rightly.
B. Yes, you also translate this app to Spanish, you can add spanish language from admin panel, in the category, title or description of content your app. you also can disable advertisments by giving random value in the string.xml when the admob id placed.
C. If you couldn’t enter the admin panel, so, your configuration still not correctly. I can help you to solve your problem, just contact me by email and give me access to your cpanel hosting, I will help you.

I have other projects in the same hosting, why not what I can give. I could explain what steps have to follow? I’ve created a database with all privileges, incorporating the db name, user db password. I have put them in the / includes / in variables.php file and according to path domain connect_database.php and close_database.php in addition to adding the same database in the api.php file. I have to give permissions to a specific folder? or I have to change the account access in some other file?

If you want emulate the application, you can using Android Virtual Device which provided in Android Studio. Open your Android Studio, see the menu bar, click Tools > Android > AVD Manager, you can create your Android Emulators and run the application. If you want compile the application, you can click Build > Generated Signed APK.

Is this app any chance get suspended by google play ? Considering rules of youtube API v3 and admob integration in app that linked to youtube ?

in Activity which is the location of the video from youtube or other video being played there is no Admob, however, Admob ads placed on the list of video / category and part of another activity that does not violate TOS.
youtube video source is one of method where you can call the video, it’s also not useing youtube api, just android code that call url video from somewhere, you also can call video from other source like your own server or from external path url.
as far as I use this app, everything is safe and not suspended by google play.

Yes, it’s safe. android app as client side which just read json data from admin panel as server. if you publish the android app to google play, it’s also safe, and the video which plays from app only play the video, and adsense ads will not shown in app. If you are still in doubt, there is still another alternative video source as I explained before.

Yes, it’s integrated with admob banner and insterstitial ads.

type video when you want upload to server is mp4 and 3gp only, but if you using add from server video path or youtube video url, you can use any type video extension, but with a note, that video can play in android devices.

to run push notification, you have to create parse account. then create your app to get app id and client key. after you’ve change that id to your android app (following documentation), then go to your application again your parse, select Push > Send a push > write your push notification message, and click send.

Nice app.. There is any option to change the video mode to 720p or 480p ? when i tried to play using the app, its showing low end video.

there is no option to change video mode to 720p or 480p, but it adjust automatically depending on the speed of your internet connection. because youtube video url is one of video source, there is other option to add video source like from external url or upload by yourself.
