Greetings. I added the menu to an HTML document and now the drop down will not work.. sigh. I copied all of the code and modified the paths to reflect the change. The rollovers work on the first level but the drop downs do not… the url is http://aquamey.com/index2.htm
Thanks for your help.
How do you make one of the menu links without a dropdown and arrow icon next to it?
Hello,
I don’t quite understand what you want.
Can you please email me some details?
Cheers, A
Works well but the menu is showing up behind iframes (specifically YouTube videos) in IE 8 when the video is embedded just below the menu. I thought about messing with the css but didn’t see any z-index so I’m not sure what kind of magic you have going on behind the scenes.

Any ideas?
Hello,
Use: and wmode=”transparent” (non moz browser).

Thanks Alexandra but that won’t work – we’re using the iframe embed code (not flash).

Works great in FF and Safari – IE8 has a problem.
Hi,
will this work on Wordpress Version 3.0 ?
Thanks.. nice dropdown!
Hello,
This is a standalone version, but you can implement it anywhere if you have some programming knowledges.

Can this be made to work with onclick instead of hover? Also, does this support styling of the menu itself – that is: how easy would it be to add an icon (like a little house to represent “home”) to the menu?
Hello,
It can be made to go off on click instead of hover.
About the icons issue, if you know a little html/css it’s easy to do.

Hey! I have another question. I’ve modified the code a bit and now when I mouse over the main menu item then move my mouse into the drop down menu area, the main menu item is no longer highlighted. It’s working fine in Firefox but not IE. Any ideas? I know it has to do with the .on class and the JavaScript but I just can’t seem to get it to work….
Thanks in advance!
Dana
Hey Dana,
Unfortunately some features don’t work in IE (CSS3 more exactly).
Sorry.

can i easy change the color of the open under menus? the hoover effekt?
yes, it’s easy, there’s a class in .css file
cheers, A
Hey thanks for the quick reply. I was referring to the images inside the drop down menu. I’d like them to be in the drop down menu but hang off the side. I haven’t seen the code, but my guess is that may work with relative or absolute positioning?
yep, exacly
Great script!
For those of you commenting about the gradients and shadows….they are being rendered by CSS3 , which is not supported by IE7 or 8 but will work in IE9 .
Question: Is it possible to move the image so it hangs of the side of the menu box? Would that work?
glad you like it
of what image are you talking about?
if it’s the “ribbon” corner , you can move it anywhere, you just need to know a little html/css

is there a way to have the menu clickable instead of hover?
You could always just use a conditional statement and use a background image for IE. Just a thought
Same here. IE8 doesn’t show the gradient and shadows.
Your CSS styling doesn’t work in IE. Drop down does which is nice, but its a shame the styling isn’t cross-browser compatable
glad you like it,
what do you mean that isn’t working in ie? what version are you referring to?
Currently viewing in IE8 . The drop down works as I stated, but the styling is just a blue rectangle.
Good job! and fantanstic additional documentation
Thanks! Glad you like it!
Nice work!
Demo version?
