Hi, I’d like to switch to MyMail from Mailpoet due to couple of issues. But I have a question before I buy it. Do you offer option to generate automatic newsletters daily/weekly/monthly based on the last published posts? If yes does MyMail automatically crop “featured image” sizes or instert images as they are?

But I want to set it up once and do it automatically every week for all posts written from Monday till Sunday (this feature is the reason why I use Mailpoet). Can it be done in MyMail?
Yes, but MyMail cannot include the latest posts since Monday rather the latest X posts
So if you write five posts a week and you setup MyMail to use the latest three, two are missing
If you configure your autoresponder to send every week the latest five posts you have to write five posts or an old one will get published as well

You can use
mymail('subscribers')->remove($ids_of_subscribers)
$ids_of_subscribers is an array of ids.
You can of course delete them manually from the subscribers overview with the bulk options

My newsletter is generated automatically using the autoresponder system, this works generally pretty well except that on occasion instead of generating one newsletter, mymail generates two … I have even seen it generate three newsletters all the same.
Is there a possible fix for this to ensure only one is generated and sent?

one further issue if I can, when a campaign runs it can get to the end and then take a few hours just to finish … all emails are delivered however the mymail system says will finish in 1 min … I normally manually finish it…

If you uninstall the plugin from the plugin page (deactivate => delete) MyMail will remove all tables and database entries

Ok thanks, I will purchase. One more question. Do you plan to integrate autofeed newsletter from posts and does the plugin support two languages for email sending simultaneously for the texts, tags etc?
Autofeed isn’t directly possible cause of the system campaigns were built. Multi language support is a requested feature but not very easy to implement.
It’s on my feature list though!

Hello, just bought the plugin and looks solid but i have one big question. I want to create daily and weekly digests. I’ve read that this is possible using the autoresponder and have read your docs on it but they list a finite number of posts per email. Your example being 3. The problem is, with a daily digest or weekly I have zero clue how many posts. I just want to list the total number of post for that time period. some days might be 5 and others 16, lord knows…
Is this possible?

I’m sorry but this is not possible right now
You can either send a campaign each week – no matter how many posts were published
or
you can send a campaign after X posts have been published – no matter which time has passed
I may find a solution to this but currently you have to choose the second method and publish the third post every week or use the first method and publish three posts a week

Can you access the templates? Maybe the screenshot server hasn’t access to the files which is required to make a screenshot of the template. Also access is required to display some images in emails
Please make sure your template is loaded and the server can be accessed from outside

If you like to send a welcome message you have to set up an autoresponder which does that!
On some servers it’s not possible to save files cause of file permissions.

Sorry, I’m not certain what you mean:
Are you talking about campaigns which are not saved? templates and campaigns are not the same. Templates get saved as files on your server while campaigns are stored like posts in your database.

Your plugin slows down the website speed. According to P3 it alone take 40% load time. Approx. 0,8 seconds.. It take more time in loading than even JETPACK, BBPRESS.
Can you release a update to speed it up.

I already did a lot of optimization for speed but if you website is very fast the impact is of course higher. Normally it should only affect pages with the form on it though

More of a feature request, a small bug if you like … I use the auto-responder to generate my newsletter and everything works great, the emails generated look great… the problem however is when large images are using within the actual posts, these images generally throw out the width of the newsletter … even if the images have no size specified in the post … the only solution is to use smaller images and these make the post less effective.
Is there anyway to have images inserted within posts with no sizes and to have a max sized width set within the newsletter because if I have an image with 1000 width that is what is displayed in the email … even if it is responsive in the website.

This is not easy cause images need already a max-width property for some email clients and MyMail add them to all img tags.
Also all styles have to be embeded to make emails work on even more clients. This also prevents some custom css.
You can try to add a max-width property in the img tag of your post so MyMail doesn’t overwrite it when creating a campaign.
Since this is pretty complex I can’t promise this will work though

Yes, plugin is fully translated into Spanish
no, you can choose between other premium services with additional plugins (https://wordpress.org/plugins/tags/mymailesp ) or use phpMail or a SMTP server
you can send Birthday greetings if you have the birthday of your subscribers as custom field data

You have to define a custom date field which is called “Birthday” for instance. Than you can include this field in the signup form where users have to submit their date. On import you can define a colum which includes the birthday date
