I am writing this review after enduring three months of frustration with WriteBot, for which I purchased the Extended License from Codecanyon. To say that my experience has been disappointing would be an understatement.
The first glaring issue is the multitude of bugs that plague the code. One major flaw is the lack of limitations for words in Templates and chat. Users can generate content without any restrictions, leading to unexpected costs. In my case, it cost me around $30 via OpenAI because the user was able to generate content endlessly without any control. This lack of essential limitations is not only a nuisance but also a costly oversight that negatively impacts user experience.
The customer support, unfortunately, adds another layer of frustration to the entire ordeal. The support team seems to lack the necessary experience and understanding to address issues efficiently. I found myself wasting an exorbitant amount of time trying to convey the problems I encountered. Even when they do respond, the communication is painfully slow, and more often than not, they fail to address all the points raised. It's incredibly frustrating when you're left with unresolved issues, and the support team is unresponsive and inadequate.
The chat bot, a fundamental feature of the platform, is another letdown. The flow of messages is disjointed and inconsistent, making it difficult to create a seamless and natural interaction.
In summary, my three months with WriteBot have been nothing short of a nightmare. The combination of buggy code, inexperienced support, and a poorly functioning chat bot make this platform a regrettable purchase. I strongly advise anyone considering this app to steer clear and explore alternative solutions that actually deliver on their promises. Save yourself the frustration and disappointment – this app is not worth the time or money.
