This is a good plugin and well supported. Unfortunately I had to turn the plugin off to test something, and when I turned it back on again some of my settings had vanished.

Glad you're enjoying the plugin! UberMenu will never remove your settings because the plugin was deactivated, but it does store some style caches in transients for efficiency - those may have been cleared when the plugin was deactivated and may have needed to be rebuilt by just re-saving the settings page when the plugin was reactivated.
