The plugin´s price info is totally misleading. You buy a plugin with access to all future updates, but when support expires you also stop receiving automatic updates in your WPadmin.

6 months of support doesn´t mean only 6 months of updates. And renewing support is as expensive as buying a new license. I am surely going to complain about this practice.

Hi there,

Thank you for posting a review, although it's a bit sad that a small misunderstanding made you feel frustrated.

When you buy items on CodeCanyon, they come with lifetime updates. Same with Subscriptio - you can go to the downloads page https://codecanyon.net/downloads and download the latest version right away. This option is always there and will never expire.

Automatic updates, on the other hand, is a premium feature available to clients who have active support plan.

Since premium plugins are not hosted on wordpress.org, they can't use WordPress updates system. Developers of such plugins must maintain their own systems to serve automatic updates from, must write custom code to enable automatic updates etc. This requires continuous effort and comes at an expense. Therefore it is fair to ask clients to keep their support subscription active if they wish to enjoy the benefits of automatic updates for premium plugins.

Also remember that extending support in advance is way cheaper than renewing it once it expires.
