Affiliate Pro – Affiliate Program for WooCommerce & WordPress first: (Requires the free plugin: “Affiliaa – Affiliate Program with MLM” .
Despite its premium label and over 2,000 sales, this plugin bundle fails to meet the basic expectations of a professional affiliate management system. While it claims to offer MLM features, email customization, css, most of these functions are either broken, buggy, or poorly implemented.
1. Disorganized, Redundant, and Fragile Codebase
The code is cluttered with duplicated functions, non-standard logic, and weak structure. Editing or debugging is a painful experience, and simple adjustments can crash the plugin.
2. Email Customization System is Broken
A major feature like customizing email templates does not work reliably. Despite all required AJAX callbacks and JavaScript, the system fails to properly save or retrieve edited emails.
3. Outdated and Unprofessional Interface
The UI/UX feels neglected, with outdated layouts, poor styling, and little to no mobile responsiveness. This is far from the sleek experience you would expect from a modern WordPress plugin.
4. Misleading MLM Functionality
The plugin claims to offer multi-level marketing (MLM) logic, but its actual implementation is vague and lacks transparency. Configuring multi-level commissions feels more like guesswork than structured setup.
5. Lack of Documentation and Poor Support
There's minimal guidance for setup, and much of the documentation is either outdated or incomplete. When issues arise.
6. Security and Data Handling Concerns
Loose input sanitization, inconsistent nonce usage, and risky form handling raise red flags. This is not the level of quality you'd expect for a plugin managing affiliate transactions and user payouts.
Affiliate Pro appears to be a premium skin placed over a half-baked free plugin. You're essentially paying for a broken front-end connected to outdated backend logic.

After several years using it, we finally deinstalled to the lack of stability and poor performance with many bugs.
If it's not working due to not paying Extra Support continously, it means that it is not really working properly and you need a "hidden" subscription to work properly.
