WordPress BuddyPress Social App by wolfljj
I’ve been a WordPress Website developer of many years and have a social media site that needs a mobile app which led me to Wolfljj.
I had a very poor experience with Wolfljj. I would agree to have him build an app once I received a sample app. The price he quoted was $200 (a little higher than the price above since it was a BuddyBoss implementation).
The first sample he sent me didn’t work at all. The second sample nearly bricked my Samsung Note 10 phone. It took a few hours and a lot of luck to get it un-bricked. Even though I was concerned about my phone, I installed a third sample app which again did not work at all. At this point, I didn’t have a lot of confidence as I was still just waiting for a working sample.
The next sample actually loaded up with some poorly formatted content, however much of the content that should have been there was missing. After a couple more samples, I was convinced and commented to him that I was ready to move forward.
That’s when he informed me he wanted admin access, and to install another plugin. I had previously installed a plugin at his request and so I asked him if I could install this plugin as well. I also asked if he actually needed admin access or just subscriber access.
The result was to triple my cost to $600. When I asked why he said…
“Because you don’t trust me,I had developed a lot of app for others, no one like you I started developing for you without asking you for any fee, and you didn’t believe me, so that’s the price”.
Developing? I’m not sure about developing, I was simply waiting for a sample that actually worked and didn’t destroy my phone…
This is a very poor way to do business and I would caution anyone considering using him to develop an app.

First of all, I don’t charge anything
The true story goes like this
One day, the man, call this man, he didn’t buy any of my goods, he saw the buddypress APP, send an email to me said he want to develop a buddyboss app, I’m also more interested in doing this APP, so I told him charge is $200, and then I am in the premise of not charge any fee, I started a buddyboss web APP development to him, sent him a few demo, I said to his admin privileges in order to develop the APP, the person said to me, let me send my development plug-in to him, He installed it himself.
Then, I said that if you didn’t give me admin privileges, I would have to raise the price, which was $600. Considering that I couldn’t test and change the plug-in, it would greatly increase the development time, so I raised the price. Then the man got angry and said that I was revenge him.
So that’s the whole story, I’ve done a lot of custom development, and everybody does it on the basis of mutual trust, and if you don’t trust me, how do I build a custom app for you?
In the whole process, I did not charge any fee, just because I was interested in this project, anyone who asked me to develop would do a demo according to his website in advance, and I would charge the fee when the customer was satisfied.
This person said that the demo I sent him caused his phone to crash. My app was developed with flutter, which was a Product of Google. If my app contains malicious code, how can it pass the review of Codecanyon? After the man changed his cell phone, everything worked fine, indicating that the problem was with his own phone.
I really don’t understand what this person thinks. I want your admin permission just to develop an APP. Why should I destroy your website data? Why would you want to destroy your phone? What’s in it for me?
Again, I did not charge any fee for the whole process, and I did a lot of work to modify the demo he proposed, such as the integration of Facebook and Twitter. I just wanted to complete the app
I don’t want to say anything more than F word someone like you.
I wasted my time and energy, didn’t ask you for a penny, and then I made a reasonable request, and this request is only for the development of the app, do you think I have a problem? Is it just because I don’t charge you for it that you’re happy?
And then threatened to warn other people at Codecanyon not to cooperate with me, and I just wanted to ask other people who saw the message, is this guy having a problem or am I having a problem.

You didn’t ask for money because you were still trying to get me a working sample app that actually worked. But it kept failing. And no it did not work after I restored my phone. The next sample app you sent didn’t work either.
And you sir are lying about saying you would have to raise the price if I didn’t give you the admin privileges! You never said that and I can prove it in the email exchanges. You got angry and raised them because I being cautious asked if I could install the plugin.
Here is what I asked. Does this sound like something someone should get so upset about?
I am not comfortable with giving out my admin login info or allowing anyone else to install plugins Can you send me the plugin and I will install it? You have subscriber access now. Do you need admin access?
This apparently made you angry. Maybe it triggered your ego… You claimed I got angry and sought revenge. That also is a lie, I have not said one thing to you in anger. I simply stated that reviews are important and wanted to warn others to be cautious of doing business with you. That is what reviews are for. If you don’t like negative reviews, you should rethink your business practices.
Lastly, the fact that Wolfljj twice above said he wanted to say F word to me tells you a lot about his character. This is not the way I do business with my clients and certainly should not be the way you do business either.

Codecanyon should take another look at this developer!!! I’ve made more than 30 purchases via Codecanyon over the last couple of years and never been treated so poorly or called the “F” word.
You just don’t want to develop because of the money. What did I lie to you about? Did I charge you? Tell me what I lied to you about. This is not Facebook and Twitter. Don’t go crazy here.
