I am considering purchasing your Table Rate Shipping plugin for WooCommerce and would like to clarify one important point before buying.

My shop uses multiple shipping classes with different calculation rules. For example, one shipping class may have a flat rate, another may use weight-based tiers, and another may become free above a certain order value.

My question is about mixed carts:

If a customer has products from multiple shipping classes in the same cart, can the plugin calculate and apply the required shipping cost for each relevant class and combine them into one final shipping charge?

The intended behavior is:

  • each shipping class in the cart should be evaluated according to its own rules
  • the applicable shipping costs should be combined into one final shipping amount
  • the customer should not be able to choose between separate shipping options for the different classes
  • the checkout should show only one shipping option/rate for the whole order

In other words, I need the plugin to behave as a rule-based shipping calculator for mixed carts, not as a system that presents several alternative shipping methods for the customer to choose from.

Could you please confirm whether this is possible with your plugin, and if so, briefly explain how it should be configured?

Thank you very much.

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out and for your interest in our plugin.

Yes, our plugin fully supports the use case you described. It can be configured to evaluate each product in the cart according to its specific shipping class and aggregate those costs into a single final shipping cost at checkout.

When the checkout process triggers, the plugin can be configured to calculate the cost for Class A, Class B, and Class C individually based on your defined logic, combines them, and displays the total as one single shipping charge.

Because every WooCommerce store setup is unique, we highly recommend that you test this exact “mixed cart” scenario on our demo site to ensure it works perfectly with your expectations before making a purchase.

You can access the demo environment here:

Demo URL: https://demo.zendcrew.cc/shipped/wp-admin/ Username: demo Password: demo

Please feel free to add various items from different shipping classes to the cart on the demo site to see how the final aggregated shipping rate is calculated in real-time.

If you have any trouble configuring the test scenario or have further questions after trying the demo, please let us know—we are here to help!

Here’s what I need:

1. Normally, if the cart total is under $30, a $5 delivery charge applies. If the cart total is above $30, shipping is free.

2. However, for certain products—specifically those in a class like “Atta/Rice”—I always want to charge $2.50, even if the cart total is above $30.

3. In short, if a product from the “Atta/Rice” class is in the cart, free shipping should not appear. Instead, it should charge $2.50. If that class is not present, then the normal $5 or free logic applies.

Can your paid version allow me to conditionally disable free shipping based on product classes or categories? I’d appreciate confirmation that your premium solution can handle this exact scenario.

Thank you!

Hi team, could you please confirm if this can work out the shipping cost base on weight. For example, 1kg is 10$. Then 100 gram will only cost $1. Thank you!

Hello,

Yes, that is absolutely possible.

The plugin supports weight-based shipping calculations, allowing you to define rates such as $10 per 1kg, and it will automatically calculate proportional costs (for example, $1 for 100g).

If you need any help setting this up, feel free to reach out to our support team

I use Printify I need to have split shipping and charge shipping based on print provider. Can i do this charge multiple shipping that way the customer pays shipping and get separate shipping tracking per. Example customer orders from 2 suppliers, print provider A order 2 items shipping $5.00 plus print provider B order 3 items shipping $8.00. can i achieve this with your plug in. thanks

Hello,

Yes, the plugin does support multi-package orders create by any third-party plugin.

Furthermore, while the plugin handles the multi-package shipping charges, you may also need a third-party plugin to manage shipment tracking.

Hi, this is a presale cuestion. As my english is not at all perfect sometimes I’m losted with documentation and so on. My needs are :

1/ have the possibility to create rules for specific roots postcodes (example : UK begining by GBY, Italy begining by IT07 and so on) 2/ have the possibility to create a hierarchy between these rules and the dedicated country rule (example if Country is UK and postcode begin by GBY then apply specific rule ; if not then apply UK general rule) 3/ have the possibility to add flat extra cost to some rules (typically customs costs) 4/ have the possibility to import in rules batch post codes lists (excel, csv, whatever). 5/ have the possibility to create incremented rules ? (means price for x wheight then extra cost for extra x wheight)

Do your plugin allow that ? Hope my message is understandable. Regards.

Hello,

Thank you for your interest in our plugin, and our sincere apologies for the delay in responding.

To address your questions:

1 Yes, the plugin allows you to create rules targeting specific postcode prefixes such as GBY, IT07, etc.

2 Yes, you can create conditional logic with prioritized rules, such as applying a postcode-specific rule first, and falling back to a country-level rule if no match is found.

3 Absolutely. You can add flat-rate fees (e.g., for customs or handling) to specific rules.

4 Currently, the plugin does not support bulk importing of rules via CSV or Excel. Rules need to be created manually through the plugin interface.

5 Yes, the plugin supports tiered pricing based on weight thresholds, including extra charges for additional weight ranges.

If you need help setting up any of the features or would like to test it before purchase, feel free to reach out and we’d be happy to assist further.

Best regards, zendcrew

Hi, I tested your plugin and I think it has a lot of potential but maybe something is wrong with the code because nothing appears for the shipping amount in the Cart or Checkout page. I played for a couple of hours and didn’t succeed until I installed another Shipping plugin. Only then did the shipping rate of your plugin appear, but it disappeared again as soon as I saved the changes in your plugin.

Best regards.

Hello,

Apologies for the delayed response.

Hello, I found some time and tested your plugin again. Everything works now. As I wrote earlier, this plugin has huge potential and a lot of options for configuring all types of delivery. I am comparing it with some plugins that I already bought here and worked with the same. Your plugin gives much, much more. Congratulations.

Thank you :)

Hello. Is it possible to display the total weight and total vomumetric weight of the order in a custom place and not only inside a woocommerce notice? just use cart hooks for example and place the weight and volume info just before the total order sumamry instead of the woo notice at the top!

Hi,

Thank you for your interest in our plugin.

As of now, the weight and volumetric weight can only be displayed on WooCommerce notices. We may consider implementing a similar feature in the future.

Hi i’m interested in buying the plugin, my main reason to buy is i want set shipping price based on final order weight, let’s say 1kg – 10$ if person add more than 1 kg like 3 kg i want the final bill to be 30$ based on weight, can this be set automatically as long as customer add many weight automatically calculate the final fee of the shipping ? its difficult to find this on your plugin can you please guide me before i purchase?

Hi,

Thank you for your interest in our plugin,

Yes, the plugin can be used to calculate shipping cost based on final weight and weight range that you mentioned.

Thank you :)

If Total cart weight is 10KG than shipping charges will be apply as Rs. 200/KG along with this 3KG Additional Packing Charges will be applied means total 13KG=(13×200) = Rs. 2,600/- (check in attachment)

Hello,

Thank you for considering our plugin.

The plugin is capable of implementing the shipping calculations you mentioned.

However, displaying those calculations step by step is currently not feasible due to certain limitations.

Hello can i display shipping rate on elementor page set in backend?

Hello,

The plugin is indeed compatible with Elementor. However, it’s important to note that approximately 99% of the plugin’s processes rely on the presence of cart objects, which are typically provided by the WooCommerce plugin.

Hi, I have a pre-sale question, is this plugin compatible with Woocommerce HPOS ?

Thanks.

Hello,

Thank you for considering our plugin!

We are currently reviewing the plugin for HPOS compliance. In the next few days, we will be rolling out an update.

Pre-sales question: Does this provide a field for each product to charge a specific shipping cost?

Does this plugin provide per product variation shipping charges?

Hi,

We apologize for the delay in responding to your message as we were on vacation.

Our current plugin version supports shipping cost calculation based on product meta fields and other product rules.

However, if you want to derive the calculated value from custom product fields, additional customization of the plugin may be necessary.

We understand this may be inconvenient, but we are continuously working to improve the plugin’s functionality.

If you have any further questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Thank you for using our plugin, and we appreciate your support.

Hi there. Is it possible to use custom fields (or lets say meta values) from the famous Extra Product Options plugin to calculate shipping costs? Like for example for products where users have to fill in width, length, height or diameter of a product. I’d have to set up rules for such custom values and use them together with the quantity and the variant to set up shipping rules.

Hi, Thank you for your interest in our plugin!

Unfortunately, custom fields are not currently supported by the plugin, but implementing them through the plugin’s action hooks is possible.

However, I’d like to mention that the plugin does support metadata like user metadata and product metadata.

Thank you for considering our plugin.

hello, i bought this WooCommerce Table Rate Shipping plugin , but how to set cumulative weight, less than 8kg,there is firstweight and additionalweight, firstweight is fixed, but it seem this plugin can not do this. this is very important for me. another question, when the item overweight, need extra add fixed rate. can it do this?

Hi, Thank you for using our plugin.

Our plugin supports cumulative weight calculations by allowing you to create multiple shipping costs for a given shipping rate, which can be validated with a list of conditional logics.

Our plugin offers two categories of shipping costs: Shipping Costs and Grouped Shipping Costs. The Grouped Shipping Costs work similarly to the regular shipping costs but with an additional feature that lets you group package items by quantity unit, line item, product, product category, shipping class, or order.

Best regards, zendcrew

Hi I have a presales questions.

1. I would like to ask if this plugin offers this condition. I want the shipping cost to be calculated by weight (different cost per Kg). But if the volumetric result of the cart is bigger than the weight of the products in the cart, then I want to have the shipping cost calculated by volume (different cost per volumetric kg). Is that possible with your plugin?

2. Can I hide other shipping method based on products using your plugins? For eg. I have bottle with multiple shipping methods DHL and FedX however, I would like to disable DHL, not delete, just disable for now and the only Shipping method is Fedex. I need to view only Fedex on Cart and Checkout page as shipping method. Is this possible?

3. We like the look of your plugin but before we buy it, we wanted to check if it can the following.

We currently have three shipping options available for all products in the store. We have just set up a new product category and for this category only, we would like to set up a separate shipping option plus also use one of the other existing ones.

Will your plugin allow this? To show only these two shipping options for this product category in the cart and to show only the other shipping options for the remaining products in store?

4. is it possible to set additional product cost for express delivery for all products of one specific variation? E.g. Free shipping and Express delivery only for 60×80cm? All other products should have free shipping.

Thanks in advance for answering these questions.

Hi,

Thank you for your interest in our plugin,

1. The plugin supports volumetric weight calculation and comparison, shipping cost calculation, and conditional logic based on the calculated weight.

2. The plugin can be configured to hide shipping rates or other shipping methods based on the availability of shipping rates. This feature can also be based on conditional logic, such as cart/package items.

3. Our plugin includes categories-based conditional logic. However, you may need other plugins to create package objects on the cart.

4. The plugin can be set up to calculate shipping costs based on items in the cart, including product variations.
