Which would you suggest for Google Cloud for v1 API – Speech-to-Text v1 API? Speech Recognition (with data logging) is $0.016 / 1 minute and Speech Recognition (without data logging) is $0.024 / 1 minute. I noticed there is a v2 API too.

Hello! I suggest the v1 API option because I don’t see any problem with the privacy of using speech logging from the contact form. Besides, most likely these logs are anonymous. And yes, this is cheaper.

Hello! The Speech to Text function has been tested both by us and by users and works correctly.
Audio recording does not interact in any of the user registration system. The sender name can be displayed in the record only if he specified his data when sending the record.

Hello! The title of the form for the record submission may contain data from one of the form fields, for example, the user name (if it is filled in). Therefore, when you get a new record, its title will contain the sender’s name or other identification data which you specify in the plugin settings.

Hello! The Speech to Text transcription function is based on Google Cloud API. The API provides a free monthly quota, but if the quota is exhausted, payment may be charged. Please find the price here https://cloud.google.com/speech-to-text/pricing
The countdown duration option is already available in the Modal Popup tab settings.

I have 2 feature requests that would make this plugin even more awesome. I’d like to use it for correcting speaking exercises on my English teaching website. Is it possible to have the recording create a public or private post when it is created? Also, would it be possible for the site administrator or another user to add comments to the recording? That would really help, and be a great selling point, as few plugins do this. Thanks.
Hello! I understand what you mean but I’m afraid that your requests do not quite correspond to the main purpose of the Contacter plugin. This can be more considered as an idea to create a separate plugin for voice comments that will contain the corresponding functions and settings. Actually, we have a similar idea, but for now it’s only in the list for the future.

When someone submits a message I would like to just show the thank you message and then close the popup window. I don’t want the START NEW MESSAGE button to be there. Is there anyway to remove this? I keep searching through the php files but cannot locate where this area is.
