Hello, Does the filter have the option to display the taxonomies in a hierarchy as in a webshop with a large number of categories that expands after clicking a main category?

Hello! I am finding a problem with my sortable post grid. I am attempting to exclude a specific category and nothing I attempt works. I have tried the slug, the nice name and the category ID number. Why wouldn’t this be working?

The sortable post grid only sorts by the subcategories. How to make it sort by the main categories too?

Hi,

Can you please submit a support ticket with your query in detail, so we can better assist you?

Hi there!

I noticed your demo https://www.infiwebs.com/sortable-post-grid-vc/grid-builder-woocommerce/ Is this plugin now Woocommerce supported?

Thanks

Hi,

Yes, you can use the plugin to display grids for any post type.

Kind regards,
Nitin

Hola, ¿puedo usar campos personalizados en el filtro “SORTING”?.... ¿está GRID se instala como un nuevo elemento de WP Backery, o se integra al elemento “Post Grid” que ya tenemos?

Quedo atenta.

Gracias!

Hi,

The custom field filters are not yet possible, however, we are working on it.

The grid is implemented into the post grid. You can use the existing post grid templates inside the sortable post grid.

Nitin

Hi, I’m considering this plugin but wonders, can I control how many elements (posts) will be on a raw on mobile devices and on desktops, for example in the regular posts grid – I can only set it on desktop.

Hi,

The number of elements ( posts ) in a row are auto-configured depending on the device width. On mobile, we can display only one item in a row due to the available space.

If you want to force display multiple items in a row, eg. 2 items, on mobile devices, you can achieve the results with some custom CSS.

I hope this helps. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

Kind regards,
Nitin

OK, and if I purchase the plugin you’ll be able to support in case I’ll ran into issues with doing it with CSS?

Hi there,

Sure thing. We can help you to set the number of items to be displayed on mobile devices.

Kind regards,
Nitin

Hey there. Wondering if the following is supported.

Created a Custom Post Type with Toolset, including custom fields. I’d like to create a post grid in the page editor, and I can see the CPT as option. However I can not add custom post fields as elements to show in the grid.

Would your plugin enable that? Pls advise Hans

Hi,

Unfortunately, custom fields are not yet supported. We have it planned in our roadmap, but we are not sure about ETA.

Kind regards,
Nitin

Hi Team,

your plugin looks great! Pre-sale question: - Is it also possible to add some dropdowns for customized taxomonies? We create some extra. - Is it also possible to add a search field to search at titles?

Thnx!

Hi,

The search feature is currently under development, and it will be released in the upcoming major update. The plugin already supports the custom taxonomies and adds up all the taxonomies registered for the post type. You can also exclude the taxonomies you don’t want to show up.

I hope this helps. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

hello is there a way to display category filters on the left side instead of the top?

Hi,

Yes, can be done using some custom CSS.

Kind regards, Nitin

hello! I have a pre-sale question.

I want setup 3 category groups (or tag-groups). So in frontend I want to see these three groups of categories: “Client type”; “Solution”; “Place”.

In each of this category group I want to show some items. For “Client type”: Private, Public, Amministration; for “Solution”: Design, Assistance, Installation; for “Place”: London, Rome, New York).

Users must be able to filter posts show on this page by sub-categories of that category groups, for example with “Rome”. In the same way you do this with the group “Categories” and the group”Tags”: https://preview.codecanyon.net/item/visual-composer-sortable-grid-taxonomy-filter/full_screen_preview/7338639?_ga=2.133323790.1899839297.1619772476-511288400.1616773318

It is possible with this plugin? Thank you!

Please feel free to reach out to support in case you have any questions :)

Hello, my doubt is: can I filter posts using only “Category” and “Tags” as I see in your demos, or can I create groups of filters that I can name as I want? Because as I wrote I need 3 groups: “Client type”; “Solution”; “Place”. Each of this will have a dropdown menu with some items (categories or tags I think) that filter posts. Could I do this? Thanks!

Hi,

Yes, as long you have custom taxonomies registered for the post type, you can display them as your filters. We have categories and tags on our demo as we had not used any other post types.

I just created a demo page for you using the WooCommerce products – https://www.infiwebs.com/sortable-post-grid-vc/grid-builder-woocommerce/

I hope this helps. In case you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

Can I display my filters in cloud as opposed a drop down?

Hi,

I’m sorry, but this is not possible as of now. I’ve added this as feature request to our roadmap and will surely look into this.

Presale queetion: i have custom taxonomy with category inside. One of these are listed as “months”. Is possibile with your plugin make a query category with current month, or with external parameter from function?

Hi,

Thanks for your interest in our plugin. Unfortunately, this is not possible as of now. You can filter the posts using taxonomies attached to the post type.

Hi, I purchased this plugin this week, but I don’t have a wp baker page builder, I use Elementor and it doesn’t work. Is it possible to get a refund?

Hi,

I’m sorry, but unfortunately, the refund can’t be accepted as it falls outside of the refund policy. If you have not downloaded the plugin, you can raise a refund request and we will accept it.

Hi, the small icons to change the grid display aren’t working in your demo.

That said, I could just hide everything except the “spg-view” buttons and have what I want.

Sure thing. Let us know if you have any questions.

Hi,

I set 3 posts to be shown per page and the grid shows the pagination ok, but when I filter by a category, the grid shows all the posts with that category without pagination.

Hi,

Can you please create a support ticket so we can better assist you?

Kind regards,
InfiWebs

Where could I create a support ticket?

Anyway it’s a bug in the plugin, you can see it in your own page: https://www.infiwebs.com/sortable-post-grid-vc/

First you will see the pagination of 10 posts, but if you filter by the category “Tips and tricks”, you will see all 15 posts without pagination.

Hi,

You can create the support ticket here – http://infiwebs.freshdesk.com/

Thanks for the info. We will surely address the same in the next update.

Kind regards,
InfiWebs

Does this plugin filter pages or posts only?

Hi,

You can filter any post type with the taxonomies attached to them. You can’t set the posts from a category filtered by other taxonomies though.

I hope this helps. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

Hello,

I’m thinking of purchasing this plugin, but I’m wondering, is it possible to display taxonomies from custom post types inside standard Grid Builder from WPB? Currently I’m having a problem with displaying taxonomy name inside grid, alongside with post title, post date, etc…?

Thanks in advance, Igor

Hi Igor,

The WPB Grid Builder API isn’t available for 3rd party elements to easily alter the layouts etc. Which is why our plugin does not support the Grid Builder layouts as of now.

I hope this will help. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

If WPBakery is included with my purchased theme, will this addon-work, or must I purchase WPBakery separately?

Also, must you click filter each time to apply, or can it apply filters upon selection?

Hi,

Thanks for your interest in our add-on. The add-on does work fine with the WPBakery included in the theme as well unless they have made some customization to it and that prevent the 3rd party add-ons to work properly. We haven’t received any such issue till now so it should work fine with the WPBakery included within your theme.

Just make sure the version is up-to-date :)

Kind regards,
InfiWebs

Thanks. Could you also answer my question about having to click filter each time?

We have an option to set the filters to be applied on the selection. Here’s the demo for you – https://www.infiwebs.com/sortable-post-grid-vc/sortable-post-grid-ajax-loading-enabled/

Does this allow to list pages instead of posts?

Hi,

Yes, you can display any post type or even posts from a taxonomy as well :)

Kind regards,
InfiWebs
