I have a problem with .NET DAL Generator, The problem is accessing a Access database. the ACE Driver 12 is not installed. I am sure its the version of Office i have installed. i have 365 and the driver is 64bit. I am guessing that this is 32Bit Build and doesn’t use the latest driver. Provider not registered on the local machine. Should have bought the Sorce code so i could have built it in 64bit.
Could you please help me to use it on new machine.
Thank you

Hi,
I love the concept and bought a licence but im a beginner VB programmer and i enjoy the asp net example you bundled but i cant seem to see where the code is to instantiate the classes. I.e. it looks cool but i have no idea how your sample app works.
Say i have a local database called test its VERY basic so i can understant this.
CREATE TABLE [dbo].[Names]( NameID IDENTITY NOT NULL, NULL, CONSTRAINT [PK_Names] PRIMARY KEY CLUSTERED ( [NameID] ASC )WITH (PAD_INDEX = OFF, STATISTICS_NORECOMPUTE = OFF, IGNORE_DUP_KEY = OFF, ALLOW_ROW_LOCKS = ON, ALLOW_PAGE_LOCKS = ON) ON [PRIMARY] ) ON [PRIMARY] GO
say i was to write a console app to do CRUD. I would need a reference to System.Configuration and have this in my app.config
<connectionStrings> <add name=”DatabaseConnectionString” connectionString=”Data Source=.\SQLEXPRESS;database=test;MultipleActiveResultSets=true;Trusted_Connection = yes;Encrypt=false;Packet Size=4096;Connection Timeout=10;”/> </connectionStrings>
what is the simplest code to add a new line / delete a line in a console app?
Thanks! Matt

Just want to say Najmul is the real deal. He puts out GREAT software and is very helpful in support. Took me a few emails to understand how to use it but he was patient with me. Thanks Najmul. Im going to buy more from you. Others should too!
Hi,
Thanks a lot for the encouraging comments.
We use a similar tool in the company but costs far more expensive. Having this tool will save you huge time and money in development and maintenance. It’s very easy to use and code implementation is straight forward. A great tool for price! Plus great support from developer.
Hi,
Thanks a lot for the encouraging comments.
I have purchased a license for this product and I does very good job. The sample web application is a help, but could you provide the same application in a VB Desktop app? I’m not familiar with ASP.NET and am running unto some problems implementing the VB classes. Thank you so much.
Hi,
Thanks for purchasing our app.
Please send me an email via my profile page so that to send you a sample desktop app.
Sorry for my ignorance:
What differences are there between this product and this (https://codecanyon.net/item/entity-framework-dal-generator/13848630) besides that one generates code for C # and VB.NET and another only for VB.NET?
Thank you.
Hi,
Thanks for your interest in our apps.
Yes, you are right. Here is a bit more explanation.
This app generates code for VB.Net without using entity framework. It uses SqlConnection and SqlCommand for CRUD operations for SQL Server database. It also uses OleDbConnection and OleDbCommand for MS Access database.
Entity Framework DAL Generator: It generates code for entity framework (C# and VB.Net) for SQL Server database.
C# DAL Generator: It generates code for C# without using entity framework. It uses SqlConnection and SqlCommand for CRUD operators for SQL Server database. It also uses OleDbConnection and OleDbCommand for MS Access database.
