Hi, very nice looking script. Here are two features that l think you should add (these are pretty common with most login/account scripts).

1.) ability to add custom variables/fields to each profile. For example, say l want to record gender: male/female, or age on the user’s profile.

2.) ability to protect pages on my website and require users to have an account and be “logged in” before they can be accessed.

Other than that, it looks nice!

Is it possible to have the SIMPLE password option with the email verify? I see 2 options. Email w/encrypted pass & Simple pass w/no email. Would it be possible to have email w/simple password? I like to monitor passwords because it helps catch duplicate accounts, but I would want the email verify also. Please advise.

Pitty i just reworked this script myself to include sha1 encryption and pregenerated passwords on a reset just before the update.

Also a note: the salt of the reset link should include something that changes, like a counter or a “reset-date” that is recorded in the user record, to prevent replay attacks.

Security Concerns: 1. The Passwords of users on the Database are not Encrypted maybe with SHA or whatever medium. Will bring to your notice of more concerns as I navigate the Program.

UPDATE: I just updated the Registration form field to have Phone Number as it was a Major Retirement that I needed.

Hi, When someone creates an account, I See they have instant access without authorization ? Can this be done so when they set up an account they need to wait for the admin to activate it? If this feature can be applied i will definitely buy it. And can the user upload his own avatar?. Great clean layout by the way, and looks great
