I have purchased your Unit Converter product, however, as per online documentation there should be a dist folder, which I am unable to find. Please check and let me know how to install this on my site.
Hi rajmhjn, you need to run the command: “npm run build” to build the product. When the words “Build complete” appears, the dist folder will be created. It’s mentioned in: https://thanhminh.gitbooks.io/unit-converter/content/development.html
How do I apply the latest update? mine is v1.1.0. Again downloaded, but it didn’t. Please help me.
Hi burhandmrc, you just need to follow the instructions: download => extract => edit (if you want) => open the terminal and point to the folder was extracted, run command “npm run build”, wait for complete and upload all files in the “dist” folder to your hosting.
There is no dist folder with the zip file. Need help
Hi Tecxco, please follow the instructions. Download & install NodeJS, open terminal and point to the folder that you extracted, run “npm run build”, then the “dist” folder will be created.
we found the converter have some small problem with display and floating point error.
For Time Converter.
When convert 1 hour to second. it display 3599.99971200023
(It should be 3600)
For the Length Converter
When convert 12 Nanometer to Centimeter it display 0.0000012
But when convert 1 Nanometer to Centimeter it display 1e7 (better display be 0.0000001)
I think for use this converter, most people want display normal floating format.

Hi! I’ve just bought your code and made some test. The Temperature Converter is wrong. Try it out with converting Celsius To Fahrenheit. 30 Celsius is about 86 Fahrenheit, not 1014. You can check the conversion with this temperature converter here: https://calcpark.com/temperature-converter/ Would you please check this.
Hi kkolma, thanks for reporting this bug, it will be fixed in the next update. Regards.
Hi thanhdev! Thank you for you reply. We can we expect the next update? I mean it’s a serious bug in the code…
Hi kkolma, v1.4.1 now available, your bug report was resolved. Please let me know if there are any problems. Regards.
Hi! That was fast, many thanks.
Just one more question: which file are you modified for this?
Hi kkolma, the algorithm is located in “src/utils/temperature.js” file, i have modified some little things in “src/pages/temperature.vue” file, which represents for temperature page and the convert box component (location: “src/components/ConvertBox.vue”). This bug happened because of the way to convert the temperature is completely different from other units. Thank you for your review and best regards.
Hi thandev. Great, thanks for the detailed info.
Sorry to ask again but I couldn’t find the temperature.js file. There is no directory called utils in src.
Hi kkolma, i’m so sorry for my mistake that i uploaded the wrong updated file, please download the latest update. Besides, you’re my customer so don’t be afraid to ask. Regards.

I cannot build the app for localhost, when i run “npm run dev” it throws some errors.
Can you please help me on this…
No dist folder !!!!!.... ( Download & install NodeJS, open terminal and point to the folder that you extracted, run “npm run build” use VS editor ) ... for costumize things is bad; not a coder neither want to enter in this environment.
16.000 files and 100Mb to deal with; not good
...in other words; what you get does not work; you have to compile!
Hi pamps, the folder is large because it contains the “node_modules” folder, which all libraries located in. When you build it into “production”, the size will be reduced hundreds of times. If you facing some trouble with that, tell me and I’ll support you. Regards.
Why dont you put the “dist” folder in the download file as it is said in the documentation? I dont want to go for build, production, etc. At this moment just want that folder so I can FTP it.
Hi pamps, I don’t put that folder inside because almost customers change something before they deploy to their hosting. Regards.
Technically speaking this is called fraud and I don’t waste time on situations like this. Steps will be taken with codecanyon, regards.
