Can you confirm that in the future, the plugin would NOT adopt a new business model where addons would be sold separately and/or features removed to be sold separately and/or a “new” version will replace this one (that won’t be updated anymore) with some or all addons already included in this version, sold separately (for more than 300 $....) ? I ask you that because i’ve seen a dev here (selling a directory theme) who scammed his customers (there’s no other word) by doing exactly that (still allowed to sell his theme unfortunately…) > he created a directory packed with features then with sales rises quickly decided to adopt a scam business model by creating “directory +” the same directory, with few design change and core change, abandoning the first one (not updated anymore because the new one replaced the first) and selling the new one even more expensive despite the fact that he removed 95% of the features it has to sell them separately. Of course that’s the problem of new customers if they fall in the trap and don’t see that they’ll have to pay almost 400£ to have a theme with features that other themes offer for less than 60$, but the first buyers feel abused to have buy the first one.

We know how other authors do but this suspicious is kindly an offence to us. Into the last 3 years we’ve been provided one of the best Membership and Affiliate systems on the market and even all over the www, each system having dozens of Modules/AddOns included. NO extra charge have been required for none of them being by default included into the main Item. Periodically we’ve been developed new features and Modules. ULP system already come with 20 modules included. So, besides the words, the facts shows exactly how our business model is.

A wpml integration have not being officially provided yet but may not be a problem to be managed even from this point.

Unfortunately, WooCommerce is not an option for us because it does not work with WooCommerce.

A payment process can not be managed only based of a hook. We’ll provide a way to be added other payment processes on demand but for now, a course can be paid on multiple ways: Stripe, PayPal, via WooCommerce, via UMP system.

Thanks for your interest and question.

1. The Admin can add unlimited students to be enrolled into a course, if is required.

2. A Certificate is assigned to student based on established criteria but it can be manually done by the Admin also.

3. Yes, certificates are customizable and personalized with user’s data.

4. Passing a quiz or a lesson by a student can not be set by the Admin.

5. The system protect the courses content to be accessed only by students that have been enrolled on the course. It does not manage other additional protection.

Is unprofessional to judge a competitor but you can have a a look from your side about learndash addOns and over ULP all together included features and modules; counts them, do the math and you will easily find the answer.

Moreover, even the way it looks and even if already one of the best LMS wordpress solution, ULP is just on first version, and if you’ve already used another product from our portfolio you know how often we update and add new features into our systems.

We may say to give a shot, if you don’t like it you’re free to ask for refund.

Only Admins and Instructors can create courses. Even what is created by Instructors needs approved by Admin.
